"Grimleal," Shadow said softly. "I can sense it."

Shadow drew his sword and crept quietly and slowly towards the men. He was right. The mark of Grima was branded on their armor. He wanted to protect Blodwyn and Nyx first, because they had the biggest hazard against them, with the archers. Shadow climbed a nearby tree and watched his adversaries. He jumped from tree to tree, careful not to make any sound. He snuck up behind an archer, who was completely oblivious to the fact his death was seconds away. "Reminds me of what Rill would do in this situation," Shadow smiled as he thought, and he drove his sword clear through the archer's chest.

OOC: That seems like a bit too much overkill for one post, especially at that speed.

IC: The first arrow shot up towards Blodwyn before Shadow could even attempt to intercept it and the archer who shot it. Whistling through the air it shot hard and true towards Nyx, seeking to down the flying horse in one shot and letting gravity do the rest of the work for him. Blodwyn could feel her heart almost skip a beat as the arrow flew up, up, up... closer. Her hand reached back for her spear, trying to get it out fast enough to even attempt to consider a parry. Something that would not have been likely had it been drawn already. Her eyes grew wide in terror.

"Am I not going to make it in time? Come on arm! Move faster!

Suddenly the air around Blodwyn suddenly blew in a mighty gust as Nyx shot forwards and dove downwards, causing the arrow to miss the horse and impact firmly on Blodwyn's breastplate, cracking and falling harmlessly to the ground below as Blodwyn's lance came out! Spear in hand Blodwyn reached up, quickly grasping at her chest which was now heavily bruised, reaffirming that her armor was still there and, once assured, charged down. The archers seemed pre-occupied by one of her teammates leaving her goal clear. Fight.

Whipping her spear about Nyx and Blodwyn dove down hard towards the treeline. Blodwyn quickly raised her hand up to cover her face as leaves, twigs, branches, and the like smashed against her armored arm as she dropped below the treeline before returning to its position. Things were cramped, unlike the open fields, but she knew how to fight. Ahead she could see several of the axewielders and she knew just what to do. Her legs clamped tight to Nyx's side as both her hands went to the shaft of her lance and then she charged forwards.

Nyx rocketed forwards towards the first of the brutes as Blodwyn's lance came down in a wide sweep. She felt the sudden shock as the blade cut deep into the mans arm as he tried to turn and face her in time, but she didn't have time to check just how much damage she had done as she quickly tilted to the left as a large tree shot towards them and Nyx pivoted to keep balance. Air whistled past her as she turned almost sideways, Nyx's hooves pushing off against the tree trunk, as the pair darted around the tree and the next of the targets quickly approached. Another of the foes, though Blodwyn couldn't tell which one. Her eyes weren't focused on that. Just on noting that the man was unarmored and wielding a large axe on his right side.

Blodwyn's weight shifted about as she moved to the right, bringing her lance up and over to her own right side as her knees guided Nyx upwards a bit and swung downwards. This time she could see what happened as the lance lashed out and the man swung his axe. This time she had relied on the length of her weapon and it paid off as the lance slipped in, down under the mans axehead, gashing at his fingers as he could not cover the distance between himself and Blodwyn leaving him with little more than rolling on the ground, clutching at his hand in pain, as his axe and several fingers lay on the ground beside him.

Blodwyn was not finished as she turned Nyx hard to the right, swinging back around the tree towards her first of the axemen that she had targeted. Her first strike had cut into the mans shoulder, it seemed, but had not seriously wounded him. Well, he would need medical attention and likely have serious problems, but the the next minute he was up and fighting and more than capable of killing her. As he raised his axe up Blodwyn kicked Nyx hard, encouraging him to speed up as she pointed her spear downwards, aiming to pierce him through and through. Lance down, surging forwards, as the man's axe came up overhead.

The length of Blodwyn's spear pierced through the mans chest, aided by the power and speed of her mount, as his axe came down, cutting through Blodwyn's lance with the ease of cutting through firewood. The shock of the impact, the severing of the lance, and her lack of weight caused Blodwyn to be launched backwards off of Nyx, and high into the air holding naught but the broken spear. Her impact upon the ground was inevitable as she crashed down, Nyx quickly flying up to get some distance and needing to turn about to even consider returning to Blodwyn's side.

It would take quite a bit too long as Blodwyn lay on the ground, moaning as her body cried out in pain as the impact left her stunned, and now with the berserker, lance still imbedded in his chest, walking closer to the downed knight grinning madly.

"You're going to have to pay for that lance! Gonna have me some pony soup and a wench tonight!" he said as he raised his axe high, turning it about so that the opposite side would strike, knocking Blodwyn out but not killing her. All Blodwyn could do was look up at the raised weapon. Then as it came down towards her chest she rolled to the side, her body crying out in protest, as the axehead smashed hard into the ground. She cried out in pain as she got back up onto her feet, broken shaft in-hand, and lunged forwards, only to have the blunt end smack hard into her as the man swung about to catch her, knocking her to the side. As she landed hard she refused to give up and darted forwards, only to spring backwards as the man swung wildly at her, missing her entirely.

Then Nyx returned, swooping down like a bird of prey as he trampled to the man to the ground, shattering bones and pulverizing flesh under his immense weight... and stopping right on top of the man as Blodwyn returned to her mounts side and mounted up to take flight again. She wasn't sure if he was dead or not, but unless he was as tenacious as a honey badger, he was out of the fight for good.

Fivel was grateful that he had already shifted. He focused on the nearest thug, an axe wielding bandit. One powerful leap landed him right in front of the bandit, who raised his axe, swiped, and missed. The taguel used this opportunity to pounce on him and begin slashing and biting.

An arrow lodged itself in his left flank, and he yelped like a wounded rabbit. In this distraction, the axe bandit wriggled free and struck. The axe connected near where the arrow hit. Fivel had lost all feeling in that leg, but it was far from broken. A nearby tree looked like it was about to fall...

One swipe with a clawed forepaw, and the small tree split at the trunk and landed on the axe bandit. Even with one bad leg, a taguel could usually move out of the way of such things in time. The bandit was flailing in an attempt to get up. Fivel didn't want to stick around to find out whether he would or not. In order to use one of his concoctions, he would have to shift back, which would be unwise at the moment. He turned his attention to the red haired troubadour. Emil was somewhat nearby. There were a few trees between him and Fivel, normally that wouldn't be a problem, but now with a wounded leg, it kind of was. But he made his way over to him as fast as he could, dodging a few arrows in the process.

Dougal turned to all directions in search of the enemies as soon as Pleiada announced their presence. He used his dark green cape as an advantage to blend in with the scenery - he had seen it done and did it himself a couple of times when he was still with his parents, except using a yellow cape to blend in with the desert. Moving slowly through the grass, with light steps that did not rustle or warn of his coming, he tried to spot those who wished to inflict harm upon the group.

Downhill, he saw Fivel fighting an axe wearing bandit, dodging his swipes successfully, clawing at his body whenever he had the chance. At first he stood dumbfolded by the Taguel's abilities, until his companion received an arrow to the left flank, one of his legs incapacitated for the time being. Dougal took a red tome from his bag, flipping some pages as he saw his ally struggling... Until Fivel brought down a small tree upon the brigand, defeating his opponent for good, trying to dodge the incomming arrows by using the trees as a cover. That reminded him there was another enemy on the loose.

He looked toward the projectiles, then tried mentally to figure out where they had come from. Although there were many trees, he managed to find the bowman hiding above the hill, standing on the same ground as he. Dougal concentrated on draining the energy from the book, drawing enough power to create a flame on his palm. He shaped it into a ball of fire, then fired it toward him, a trail of light leading toward his target. The archer was sent flying through the impact, down the hill, breaking several of his bones and leaving him unconscious. He was happy with the results, for now.

Again, Dougal tried to blend in with the forest, looking for more opponents. "One archer and one brigand down. How are the others faring?", he thought.

The corner of his eye captured a silhouette moving toward him, and he only had the time to sidestep when an axe came splitting on the tree, cutting half of his cape and evading by only a few inches. While the brigand pushed his axe from the tree where it was lodged on, Dougal distanced himself from his foe, enough so that he had the time to prepare another fire ball. He channeled his power once again, draining the energy from the red book he was holding, burning one of the pages in the proccess. A flame flicked on his palm, yet at the same time the brigand was rushing toward him once more, bringing up his axe for a strike.

Dougal stepped back in order to get more distance, but the ground behind him was not a plain anymore, but a ramp, leading him to tumble and roll violently downhill, his tome falling a couple of feet away from him. He tried to regain his composure and stand on his feet again, yet his muscles did not obey him so, while the brigand descended the hill with a slow caution, a confident smirk on his face. With his remaining energy, he cast the flame once more, and threw a fire ball not toward the brigand, but toward his feet. The impact of the explosion knocked him down and made him crash violently toward a tree down the hill, then fall on his back, incapacitated.

He pushed himself toward a tree, using it as a camouflage and cover for any other enemy who could try to take advantage of his weakened state. "But just in case....", Dougal opened his bag once more, picking a black book with the marks of huge, canine teeth engraved on its cover. The book of Nosferatu. He hid it, using his cape as a coat, and watched his surroundings. "... I will have no choice but do this".

Still hiding in the trees, Shadow cleaned the blood off his blade. He observed the Berserker's movements, waiting for his moment to strike. He looked at Shadow, then flung his axe directly at him. It did nothing to faze Shadow, but it did lodge itself in a groove in his armor. Shadow saw the Grimleal Berserker come to the tree. "Now is the time!" He thought. Shadow doubled over, and simply fell out of the tree, in order to fool his opponent. He lay there, breathing slightly, but heavily wounded from this fall. The Berserker walked up to retrieve his axe, and that was when Shadow kicked him below the belt with his good leg, rose to his feet, then ran behind a tree to drink his Vulnerary. This healed him a bit, but his leg was still bothering him. He finished his adversary by sneaking up and stabbing him through his heart.

He suddenly caught sight of a Berserker charging at Blodwyn and Nyx, both of which were heavily injured. "Although I don't trust any of them, I wouldn't dare let them end up with an axe in their heart. (Except maybe Edward, for being a jerk). Plus, Blodwyn seems the most trustworthy, and her lance is broken! She definitely won't survive if nobody helps her in this state!" Shadow thought as he rushed in front of her to block the incoming axe strike.(Dual Guard)!!! He flicked his blade up, jamming the hilt of the axe directly into the Berserker's face, breaking his nose. The Grimleal bled profusely from his broken nose. This caused the Berserker to lose interest in Blodwyn, and seek to slay Shadow instead.

"Blodwyn! I'll distract him. Quick! Get to safety!" Shadow shouted to the Pegasus Knight. He thrust his sword right at the Berserker's heart, but that didn't make a dent in his armor. The Berserker jumped and swung his axe at Shadow's head, only for Shadow to see it coming and block it. Shadow used the leverage from this block to boost himself into the air, allowing him to leave a huge gash in the Berserker's exposed side. The Berserker charged again, slamming his axe into Shadow's side. The axe left a large gash, but Shadow dealt with worst injuries before. He was bleeding a lot, but didn't lose his strength. Shadow suddenly had an idea. He climbed the nearest tree, hid from the Berserker, then dove at him from the tree, sword at the ready. He drove his sword straight through the Berserker's abdomen, finishing him off. "That's one less Grimleal in existence." Shadow thought with a smile.

(Could you split your posts into paragraphs? Yeah, healers are probably hard to RP...)

Fivel bowed his head briefly to say thanks. Behind him, he could hear a brigand saying something about rabbit stew. Not if he could help it. He whipped around and tackled the bandit to the ground. "No rabbit stew or anything else for you!" Then he smashed the bandit's head against a rock using his now healed hind legs.

"I am going to get you! Hahaha!!" the brigand said as he ran through the forest. He wielded a hatchet, and swung it left and right. He chopped the foliage away, as he ran towards the cloaked girl. She was a pretty thing, to try and catch. He breathed heavily and pumped the adrenaline throughout himself. He was a madman and thirsty for blood. His helm covered his head and his beard protruded from his chin. His wide and bloodshot eyes were framed by a metal visor. He had scars all over his arms and wore a pair of dirty breeches. His tattered tunic lay on his chest raggedly. He grunted as he chased her.

She had watched as the mage fell from a ledge in the distance, heard a loud noise, and then saw a bandit fly through the air screaming. When she got to the ledge from where Dougal fell, it smelled of burning wood. She peered down beyond the ledge to look for him, but could she could not see him anywhere. Then she heard the burly criminal whistle to her. "Pretty bird! *whistles* Preeetty pretty... *whistles*" The high-pitched sound echoed and seemed to ricochet off of the tree trunks before it rang in her ears.

The brigand stood barely five meters away from her, and remained motionless. She could feel his eyes on her, she turned to meet his deathly gaze. "...You're a pretty birdy." he said childishly. His menacing smile made her heart sink. Pleiada stared at the sinewy arm, and followed the veins down to the hand that grasped the hartchet tightly. He shook, taking in deep breaths after running so hard. He spat, and then started walking towards her. She felt her heartbeat rise, and looked around quickly.

There was a shield that was on the ground beside her. She thought of the man who pursued Dougal earlier. She reached for it immediately. The murderer stood above her and with a cry he brought his axe up over his head, and swung it down with both hands. Pleiada blocked the hit with her shield, but flew off of the ledge from the force of the impact. The shield exploded into splinters and fell away from her arm, as she tumbled down the hill. Pleiada groaned and felt her arms swell in pain. She got up from her fall, and started to craw towards some trees.

(OOC: Please note that there are only 4 brigands/fighters left. @Dragoncat and Winter: your characters are within proximity of each other. My suggestion would be to have Fivel and Emil exchange some words. @Empoleon77 and the_Snowy_One: You guys could also have your characters chat if you want. Everyone is free to pan the battle out a little, and/or defeat enemies in their next post.).

Edward took his time at the battle, looking at what his partners were doing by themselves, he thought:

''Oh Crap these guys are real newbies, let's do something then, before they get themselves killed.''

The moment he stepped out of his cover, he saw Pleiada getting hunt by a silly brigand. He run towards them, but he was too late, Pleiada fell off the ledge, the shield she used to protect herself shattered, Edward saw the brigand standing and looking down the ledge, Edward got close to him and yelled, attracting the attention of the brigand:

''Hey, you piece of crap! Hitting girls isn't very manly you know? Sissy boy, why don't you come get a piece of this!''

The brigand looked at Edward, clearly he was pissed, he rushed towards Edward, waving the axe up high, Edward rolled to the left, making the brigand miss, he runned towards the ledge to check on Pleiada, he spotted her crawling towards some trees, he thought:

''Good, she's fine, my money is safe...''

Turning backwards, the brigand was rushing at him again. This time rolling wouldn't save him, so he hold the hit with his shoulder armor, granting him another scratch in his face, Edward waved his sword and hit the leg of the brigand, who screamed in pain. Edward grabbed the brigand and throwed him downhill, maybe he wasn't going to die, but that will surely get him out of this battle.

Edward descended the ledge, to see if he could find Pleiada. He checked the brigand, he was still alive and the way his legs were, there was no way he could run off, so he could be questioned later.

Edward kept going the way that Pleiada had taken, and bumped into a green cloaked mage, Edward screamed in terror, waving his sword:

''AWWW CRAP!'' Edward then realized that he looked familiar, and asked: ''Dougal is that you?''

"I hope Blodwyn is okay..." Shadow thought. (No, he does not have a crush on her. He just finds her to be more trustworthy than everyone else). He made a break for the tall tree, then pounced on an unsuspecting Grimleal from behind. He left three deep slashes in his back, then rebounded off him , and back on the high point of the tree, hanging on to the trunk by his sword. He climbed up the tree, hiding from the Berserker, when he suddenly saw a thrown Volant Axe heading straight for Blodwyn. He jumped in front of her, knocking the axe back at the Berserker. It missed.

"YOU!! You're that blue-haired bloke who keeps meddling with our rituals! Don't you know discrimination based on religion is wrong?!" The Grimleal shouted. "It's not racism. It's VENGEANCE for killing so many innocent people, including my parents, as sacrifices for the Fell Dragon, Grima! Don't YOU realize that senseless killing of innocents as sacrifices to the world-destroying dark god that my grandfather killed LONG ago?!" Shadow retaliated with. "Did you just call our Divine Dragon EVIL?! THAT'S IT! GRIMA, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, I AM TRYING TO SAY THAT YOU HAVE A MEMBER OF THE EXALTED BLOODLINE ON THE MENU TONIGHT!!!!" The Berserker shouted to the sky.

Shadow lunged at the punky Berserker, but jumped out of the way of an axe. Shadow ran to the tree after that. "Oh, chickening out already? How about I give you your GIRLFRIEND with an axe through her chest!" The Berserker laughed. "OH, THAT'S IT!" Shadow raged. "SHE'S JUST THE PERSON I TRUST MOST IN THIS ARMY! THAT IS WHY I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO KEEP HER ALIVE MOST! SHE IS NOT MY GIRLFRIEND, YOU DAFT CHILD MURDERER!!!" Shadow leapt across trees to get behind the Berserker. "I need to gut this guy as soon as possible." He thought. He pounced on him, left so many gashes in the Berserker's leg he couldn't walk, then knocked him to the ground. "Maybe next time you'll think twice before you mess with me, Grimleal scum. Shadow jeered with a smirk. He rolled the Berserker on his back. "Oh, right. I forgot. There won't BE a next time!" Shadow snarled as he drove his sword through the Berserker's chest.

"Blodwyn? Are you okay? Any injuries from that Berserker?" Shadow called up to his ally.

OOC: Sorry if way too many of Shadow's skirmishes have ended in the enemy dying from a backstab.

OOC: Welcome to the team, buddy.

IC:

Dougal had moved his hand to protect his face - in vain, because the blade would cut through fingers, hands and head, if Edward did not stop his hand at the right time.

He gave out a relieved expiration, bringing his free hand to his chest, his heartbeat more agitated than ever in his life. "I-I am glad you did check me before you did reap my head like an onion", he answered between his breathes. "N-Now then, can you help me to that red-haired youth? I have a few broken bones...". Dougal used the tree as a support to get back on his feet, his legs and back hurting more than ever. He looked through the trees, trying to spot Emil and Fivel, to no success. "He and the Taguel should be nearby", he stated as he limped to the direction he last saw the rabbit figure. Dougal's mind was so set toward finding the healer, that he became oblivious to the enemies still lurking nearby.

Blodwyn was clutching her chest and side as Nyx hovered in the air overhead, keeping a steady circling path through the air. "Yes. I'll be fine. Anyone who says a blocked arrow does not hurt is wrong. I'll just need some time alone with a healing stave once this fight is over and my chest and side will be right as rain. A new lance wouldn't hurt as well, but that does not matter right now." she said with a sigh as she watched the fight from on-far. She could easily continue should she desire, charging down with air-strikes against any foe, but with her wounded like this any further strikes would likely do a sizable chunk of damage to her and, while she probably wouldn't die, would certainly leave her exposed for counter-attacks. Not a pleasant notion.

Edward made a awkwardly happy face, and said:

''Hehehe, I'm glad I hesitated , the ''not-so-good mercenary'' title sometimes have its advantages... But yeah, we need to find the ''adventure-boy'' and the bunny as fast as possible, for their sake, and yours, of course.''

Edward looked at Dougal, he was in a bad shape, if there were really any broken bones, it would be hard to carry him around. He held Dougal, and began to move toward the nearest climb, always alert to any enemy that it might appear.

''Hey Listen, magic boy, if any enemies appear I will drop you, always stay behind me, luckily those broken bones won't hold any of your fireworks, so if possible cast them the most you can, while you do that I keep you safe, so basically that's my plan for now.''

Edward said with a odd smile, while carrying Dougal through the woods.

Dougal gladly accepted the mercenary's help, allowing him to lessen the burden of walking alone with broken bones. He nodded to his plan, simple and efficient.

"And to be fair, I will try not to accidentally hit you with a fire ball to the back", he japed, "But if it does, it's your fault for jumping in the way. I'm not a bloody archer to have such a good targetting". He tried to show a smile, but his expression was more pained than anything.

He hoped the healer was well and alive and still around there. If anything happened to him, the party would have a tough time crossing to Plegia as Pleiada wished. Thinking of her, he wondered how she was faring. "Edward, we must also look for Pleiada... If she is surrounded and falls to one of these brigands, it is all over". The young man looked into all directions as the group crossed the woods, looking for any threats and for his companions. Dougal almost wished an enemy would appear to them, tasting the idea of drawing their life force to fix his own wounds. "No! I must not!", he thought, snapping from his illusion, "I will not tap into that power, unless my life depends on it!".

"Wait. Where's Pleiada?!" Shadow thought. Then he saw Edward and Dougal from the tree he was looking from. "As much as I distrust both of them, especially HIM," Shadow looked at Edward as he thought to himself. "I should go with them. They could need help." He already felt worried, because Blodwyn hadn't answered him before, and she was nowhere to be seen. She wasn't even visible in the sky. Then, he saw Emil. He found him more trustworthy as well. "Emil? Have you seen Blodwyn anywhere? Is she okay?" Shadow called.

The sun was setting, and the sky was orange. She stared at the rays piercing through the tree tops, as she wandered past branches and snapped sticks with her boots. Pleiada tried to find the way back to the river, and thought that she would maybe find someone there. The problem was that she did not know if she was walking in the right direction. She could hear a stream, and stepped over some boulders, to find water rushing down the forest floor.

Pleiada washed her scratches and rubbed her bruised arms. Her hair was slightly matted, and her head was sore. She followed the trickling trail, through the trees and up a hill. She climbed, and climbed up the rocks until she saw the river ahead of her. As she scurried down the hill, she nearly tripped but kept her balance. The river's surface sparkled and shined in between the dark silhouettes of the trees that framed it. Pleiada spotted her belongings by the shoreline and reached for them.

The hand reached out and grabbed her wrist tightly. She was caught unaware and screamed. She looked up to see the enormous man that had just apprehended her. He smiled and hit her. He hit her hard over and over until she stopped screaming. She cried. Staring into the light that reflected in her tears she breathed as quietly as she could. He held her arm up, nearly lifting her off of the ground. Pleiada shook in fear.

Shadow kept scouting the forest from the tree, with no sign of Pleiada. Suddenly, he saw a river. What he saw horrified him. There was a man that had a girl by the arm. "Pleiada!" Shadow thought. "I must warn the others. But I should hold off that man. If he's escaped by the time I tell everyone and get back to the river, I'll surely get accused of lying."

Shadow leapt off the tree, and straight at Pleiada's attacker. He sliced him across his back, going as deep as possible. He was too late to get back to the tree before getting seen by either of them. The man pulled out a massive axe. "A Warrior," Shadow thought. "These guys are tough." Shadow was unfazed by this, however. He stabbed the man in the arm that held Pleiada, loosening his grip. The man swatted at Shadow with his axe, which was impressive, considering a normal man would need two hands to wield an axe, let alone one that big. Shadow saw the Mark of Grima on his shoulder. "This guy is definitely a Grimleal commander." Shadow thought. He stabbed him in the arm again, this time, he released Pleiada. Shadow picked her up and carried her to a safe area of the forest as quickly as possible. "Stay here." Shadow said to Pleiada. Then he returned to face the Warrior.

He drew his sword and left another gash on the Warrior's back. The Warrior whipped around and knocked Shadow away with the back of his axe. Shadow struggled to his feet, grabbed his sword, and scrambled up the nearest tree. He waited there for the moment to strike, because the Warrior's blow injured him bad enough that he didn't have the strength to hop across the trees. He would be able to again when he recovered. The Warrior turned around. "Now!" Shadow thought. He leapt on the Warrior, and then incapacitated hiM by stabbing him in both legs. Instead of killing him, he took out some ropes, and proceeded to tie up the defeated Grimleal Warrior. He climbed up a tree, then signaled Blodwyn with his sword. "I found a Warrior attacking Pleiada. I successfully got her to safety, and tied up the Warrior. Instead of killing him, I decided to interrogate him. I need you to alert the others of this." Shadow said to his comrade. Then he went to retrieve Pleiada.

I know he was referring to Fivel as "the bunny", but who is "the adventure boy"? (It had better not be Shadow; he wouldn't be very happy).

Blodwyn gave a small nod as she hear the call from Shadow. That was not good at all, that their boss had been found and assaulted. While she was, indeed, happy that she was safe she couldn't help but let a small part of her mind hope that this would not mean docked pay. Either way, such a thing was not important now. Patting Nyx on the side she gave him a small kick and flew lower down to the ground, calling out as loudly as she could.

"Hey! Pleiada's been hurt, but it seems like the idiots are dead or gone! Report back to camp! Ow... My sides."

Shaking her head as she slowly flew down lower and lower, doing her best to try and call out to each, before finally turning to head back to the two before landing and dismounting. She was clearly not in the best condition with her bruised body, stained face, and damaged armor, but she was alright. "I'm sorry Ms. Pleiada. I didn't think to keep an eye out. I thought we got them all in the forest and you were safe."

"They aren't ALL dead. I spared Pleiada's attacker for interrogation. We may need some information about what the Grimleal want with Pleiada." Shadow said as he slung the unconscious Warrior over his shoulder. "Oof! This guy is heavy. I may need some help carrying him." Shadow growled. Relieved that Blodwyn was safe, albeit heavily wounded, he started after the other mercenaries. He thought to himself about his relationships with the others. "Blodwyn- Possible Friend, most trustworthy. Edward- Completely untrustworthy, definite jerk. Fivel- Unsure. Dougal- Hard to trust due to Grimleal heritage. Emil- Kind of unsure, but still pretty trustworthy."

He was already thinking about how to perform the interrogation of that Warrior. He had done this many times with captured Grimleal soldiers to obtain answers about Grimleal activity, and always thought ahead of time before each one. After all, his mother and grandfather were tacticians. "First and foremost, we need to know what they want with Pleiada." He thought.
