Team Ninja is co-developing the game (get ready for jiggle physics). It's going to be 3 v 3 not unlike Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse is. Quite interesting if you ask me, as a HUGE Final Fantasy fan and a person who originally got the PSP for Dissidia (along with its sequel), I can't wait to see, (maybe this will finally get me interested in a PS4). Would be cool if online is a thing, also I want to see some FF4 stuff. Although I will admit I did go major fanboy when I saw the Midgar stage. Randoman Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 I'm really glad they're releasing another Dissidia, especially since the fighting system is so awesome and cool looking and just watching the battles and the crazy physics defying attacks and movements is awesome. I've got 700+ hours logged in the original Dissidia. I'm really interested in seeing both the character roster and the new locations they're using from each of the Final Fantasy games. According to Square Portal, the PlayStation manufacturer has provided Square with customized PS4 hardware instead of a "traditional" arcade machine. Keep those fingers crossed in the hopes of a western release... as unlikely as that may seem. The game will launch with an initial roster of 14 characters, but Square intends to increase that number to 50 following its release. Hmm... I wonder who the first 14 characters will be? (sarcasm) On a more serious note, I wonder if the Dissidia 2015 roster will be very similar to the Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call roster. I honestly think Summons having startups balances them out, instead of the INSTANT ability, they were limited yes, but quite a number were still dickish.
