Hi friends I forgot to ask but is this game for 3DS and 2DS systems as well? I just bought a sea green 2ds a few weeks ago for my birthday.

Can you guys tell me if this game will work on 2DS? Is it exclusive to N3DS in anyway?

But it wasn't announced for the 2DS?! This has me worried. Because only the new 3dsXL is supported now in NOA.

All I want to know friends is whether this game can be played on 2ds?

...What does that have to do with my question? There are regular 3DS in other regions too.

The international Nintendo Directs so far made it clear that this is a 3DS game, they have never mentioned anything about being N3DS exclusive.

Why would a game that's completely compatible with a regular 3DS made N3DS-exclusive in the West?

Are we sure that this game will not be a N3DS exclusive for NA and EU? Please confirm...

OP, CALM. YOUR. SOUL.

There is absolutely no reason for them to make it N3DS exclusive after we already have predownloads confirmed for regular Japanese 3DSs.

That would cause intense backlash for NO REASON.

No. All 3DS family systems are supported by NOA, which includes 2DS, 3DS, 3DS XL and new 3DS XL.

Some games are only compatible on new 3DS XL because they require the extra hardware power. So far, only two games fit this criteria: Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and Binding of Isaac.

Fire Emblem if will be playable on all systems, in all territories. There's no logical reason or precedence to believe otherwise, besides scaremongering.
