Chapter 5 : 6/49 turns

Forged a +3 MT Ridersbane. Reclassed Draug to hunter and Trim to pirate. Abel killed two cav on turn 1 EP with the ridersbane forge while Hardin and Vyland lured the two left cavs near them. This way I only had to deal with the archers and the knights. Abel weakened two of them on turn 2 EP, and the three were killed on turn 3 PP. The knights were killed on turn 4 and Marth stood in the boss range at turn 5. He weakened him on EP which allowed Merric + Shiida to kill him on turn 6. Jagen and Abel killed the pope on the last turn to get the barrier staff. Lena and Matthis died shielding Wrys from the cav I didn't killed.

Chapter 6 : 9/58 turns
fuck this chapter
Forged a +3 MT Iron Bow, since it's pretty cheap. Reclassed Sedgar to General. I tried to find a way to block both the archers and the cavs, but the AI wouldn't cooperate so instead I put Abel in range of the two archers on turn 1 while Roshea lured the knight. Jagen barely had enough attack to OHKO a mage with his last silver lance use. Abel killed an archer to prevent Jagen from dying while the archers Abel weakened where killed by the others. Shiida took care of the cavs, and then the rest was Abel slowly luring the ennemy to reach to the throne. I probably could've 8 turned the chapter if I rigged an Excalibur crit on the boss but there was no map save left so decided to stick with a 9-turns.

C5 4/50 turns

Opening was roughly this: http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4047/b4dycjcu_png.htm The unit whose head you see in the lower-right corner is Jagen, who pulled 2 cavaliers with Ridersbane. Shiida had a Javelin equipped, which deals 6x2 dmg to the third Cav's 30 HP, and after 2 rounds, Matthis can steal the kill. Castor and Navarre get Jagen's cavs. On turn 1, I positioned Sedgar so far to the left that the Cavs don't go towards Marth, while not aggroing the Peg. The wolfguard also did their best to pull the Archers towards the left. Sacked Pirate!Aenos against the Jav!Cav on turn 3 so Marth doesn't get doubly exposed. Marth counterkilled a Knight on turn 3 EP. Navarre pulled the Pegasus Knight near Wendell so Jagen + Navarre can kill him for barrier. Shiida oneshots the boss on turn 4 with a wing spear crit, she didn't have enough HP to escape the OHKO anyway, so it was my only way to kill the boss.

Chapter 4: 8 Turns

I can already feel the pains of not being Abel to draft a horse unit. Marth charged left. Jagen+Gordin+Ogma killed the Thief, with Ogma getting a perfect level! (minus res and mag but who cares)Lena, Julian, Darros and Trim stood in the corner to delay the Axefighters. On Turn 3, Jav!Jagen+Devil!Barst killed one of the cavs, and the rest stood in a line formation. Unil bought some steel lances on turn two after filling his inventory with stuff. 3 of the cavs (including Matt) died on EP. Wrys healed Marth and he visited the village. Gordin+Ogma and Caeda killed remaining cavs. Barst baited out a horseman with a hand axe. Unil deposited his stuff in the convoy before dying to the Steel bow archers. Ogma+Gordin killed one and Jagen+Caeda+Barst killed the other. I couldn't kill the armor this turn without someone dying, so I had Gordin chip one of the Horseman on EP, and the other goes to attack Marth. Next turn, Barst moves out of the way to miss the horseman and Wrys heals Marth, allowing him to kill the armor. Ogma critted one of the horsemen and Caeda speared the other. Bosskill on turn 8 was Caeda crit or Caeda hit and Devil!Barst finish (I ended up doing the latter.) I rigged a decent level for him using the save point.

Chapter 7 : 6/64 turns

Forged a +3 MT Armorslayer.

Marth moved as far as he could every turn. I used generic meatshields to protect my units from the DK and the pegasus. Trim died, but he sucks so it's not a big loss. Athena weakened the boss with the armorslayer forge and Abel finished him. Had to burn a physic use on Athena because she was just 1 HP short of surviving to the boss. :facepalm:

Chapter 8 : 5/69 turns
Straightforward. Marth moved as far as he could every turn. Abel weakened the archers and knights while Roshea blocked the cavs. All of them died on turn 3 except one cav. I sacrified Roger to prevent Abel from dying.
Had to use the map save to kill the boss. Since Athena was unable to double him, I either needed her to crit or Shiida to dodge his hit (as the boss OHKO her back otherwise).
Killed some horsemen at the end for Xp.

Ch5-4/50 turns

Forged a ridersbane since I thought I may need it later (go Midia, yay.) Caeda took out the first north cav on turn 1, with Ogma next to her. Barst and Marth charged northwest to the throne. The Aurelis knights went west to draw away the archers and cavs and unequipped their weapons. Turn two, I used a save point and had Gordin+Ogma critkill one cav, and Wrys healed Caeda and she blicked the other. Barst killed an archer on EP with a hand axe, bringing him to C axes! Turn 3, Barst equipped the hammer and went in range of the boss, with Marth close behind. Ogma drew out the pegasus knight to the north. Wolf and Sedgar retreated to the east. On EP, Barst was a beast and dodged and killed all the armors that went for him. Turn four, made a generic use the other save point. Barst hammered the boss semi-reliably, and I didn't even have to rig him a good level! Gordin blicked the peg, Caeda+Ogma killed the archer, and Merric got WINDELL! Then Marth seized. Surprisingly, Vyland was the only death.

Chapter 6- 10/60 Turns This chapter is stupid.

Forged a +3 Mt, +5 hit Hammer, allowing Barst to one shot the armors. I also used Gen!Wolf and Sedgar to meatshield. Windell baited and destroyed the southern archer and mage over several turns, with Wolf burning a save point to guarantee a crit against the archer. On turn 3, Wolf retreated because he took a bunch of damage. Wrys healed Sedgar and he blocked off the north from those cavs. Gordin chipped a thief and Jagen+Ogma took out an archer, with Marth killing an AK. On Turn 4, Gordin finished off the thief, while Jagen chased after the other one. Turn 5, Barst played the baiting game. He can actually take two archer hits, which is immensely useful. Turn 6-9 was Barst baiting someone out while Marth and Ogma moved towards the boss. Wrys healed Barst often. On turn 9 he was in range of the boss (chipped him with a hand axe) with need of healing. Fortunately, his ridiculous HP stat made it so that he had just enough hp to be healed by Wrys to take a hit from the boss, improving reliability greatly. Jagen and Caeda killed the cavs, and Gordin pestered the Curate while Barst was doing his thing. Bosskill was Barst being more badass with his forge and getting a rigged level up. Ogma killed the curate, and Marth seized.

Honestly, I really want a mounted unit at this time, so I'm going to try to promote Ogma as soon as possible, although Barst seems to be vying for that position. He's so good it's not even funny.

Reclassed Roshea to myrmidon and gave him a +3 MT Iron sword. The boss was killed in 2 turns by Merric, Abel and Athena.
Marth managed to grab a kill.

Reclassed Sedgar to Warrior. Abel, Roshea and Jagen traded the Ridersbane around to kill the cavaliers. I sent a generic cavalier north to lure the fliers, so only one DK moved south.
I sacrified to him a generic to allow Marth to continue. Merric killed the fliers that went north. Athena weakened the boss with two armorslayers hit, which leaved him just enough HP for Roshea to kill with a Steel Lance hit. I used a map save to make sure every hit would connect. Draug and Jagen killed the AK near the chests, allowing Rickard to grab the physic staff at the last turn.
Shiida + Sedgar + Abel killed the hero.

@momo pretty sure promoted Barst will benefit you more than HM!Ogma would in C11 and C12.

Anyway, I got C6 in 6 turns, didn't initially expect to manage this.

C6 6/56 turns

Forged +2 Mt Steel Lance. Fielded Wolf as a Sorcerer because a different strat I had in mind needed it, though in retrospect I could well have fielded him as a combattant - the only thing that was strictly needed is a heal for Sedgar, which is doable with Curate!Vyland. Though the mage + knight + archer group varies in where they move, so Sorc!Wolf still helped reliability-wise because he can heal Jagen on turn 3 if he had to eat a hit from the Mage. He didn't end up doing so, since the Mage + Knight moved such that Jagen can OHKO with Silver Lance while Shiida ORKOes the Knight. Hardin facetanked the Knight on turn 1 with Steel Lance so Marth can finish off next turn without taking any damage. On turn 2, Hardin + Navarre gang up on the Archer, for which Hardin had to trade silver lance from Jagen. Sedgar moved onto the chokepoint and Matthis + Roshea lined up next to him to bait the Archers, making them not attack Sedgar. Turn 3, Jagen javelins the Angelic Robe!Thief, Hardin gives the Silver Lance to Shiida while using Javelin on the lower thief, and she trades it to Jagen while chipping the Thief that heads for Armorslayer with Javelin. Jagen has Silver equipped. Marth finishes the Thief attacked by Hardin. Roshea stays where he is, while Myrmidon!Lena takes the tile that Matthis had before. Turn 4, Hardin finishes the Knight that attacked Jagen on turn 3 with double Javelin through the wall. Jagen chips the left Archer with Silver, Navarre finishes. Shiida attacks the right archer with the forged Steel Lance, Matthis finishes him with Javelin. Marth pulls and counterkills the left-most Knight in the throne room. The first map save was used to manipulate the Mage movement in the throne room (upon Castor's through-wall pull on turn 2) such that the Healer can't reach the Archer in one turn, which means that Castor can chip away at him on EP2, EP3 and PP4. Turn 5, Castor gets mended and attacks the Mage with a Steel Bow. Either Matthis or Vyland finishes, don't recall. Hardin kills the Thief that pilfered Armorslayer and drops it into the convoy. Marth attacks the Archer in the throne room, Navarre takes the Armorslayer and ORKOes the Knight, Jagen attacks the remaining Archer with Silver and Shiida finishes with Javelin. Turn 6, Rickard gets Physic, Lena uses the map save and Shiida critkills the boss since it's pointless to give her the robe. Hardin kills the Angelic Robe!Thief and Marth seizes.

@momo pretty sure promoted Barst will benefit you more than HM!Ogma would in C11 and C12.

Whatever you say, I'm in this more for the fun than anything else (though my turncounts are eerily close to yours.)

*sniff* Gordin isn't doubled and killed by everything in sight anymore! It's a miracle! Literally he's been getting HP + either str or Spd on all of his levels besides a few. Also, Barst is ORKO'ing everything, and Ogma can ORKO archers. I've never done this chapter before. It's really easy.

I guess, I just thought that those 2 chapters are pretty much smashed by Hero!Barst, who probably would double even the fastest enemy types, like Snipers. Though sure, you can't really go wrong with an Ogma promotion if he keeps doing well.

I really hope he does, I desperately need a horseman. Barst still roflstomps everything though with his +3 Str and +4 Spd blessing. I wish Windell could use ridersbanes at base...

Speaking of which, should I skip Minerva? She seems to cost way too many turns, and I'll get Palla later on anyways.

I'll get Astram, I guess, and...Arran.

C7 6/62 turns

Fielded Matthis and Vyland as Archers and Wolf as a Warrior. Basically, I used a generic Dark Mage to draw in the generic Dracoknight via sacrafice and fed him to Matthis (Vyland is gonna be staffbot or something, doubt I can let both keep up combattively). The Pegasus Knights are pretty easy to deal with. Did the standard fortplugging strat with Jagen blocking the one that spawns Jav!Cavs and Shiida the one with Ridersbanes. The closest one can be blocked by any given unit. Jagen with silver lance + Shiida with wing spear crit killed the boss. Routed the whitewings.

Ch 7-6/66 Turns

Reclassed Windell to Sniper. I filled Sedgar's inventory and had him buy two new handaxes for Barst (who didn't get them this chapter.) Barst Devil-chipped the Draco and one of the pegs. Gordin wrecked the draco and Ogma finished the peg. Windell ORKO'ed the other one with iron. On turn 3, Jagen blocked the westmost fort, and Marth used a save point to make sure Barst doesn't die to a 49% hit javelin and kills the steel sword cav in return. Turn 4, Jagen moves to the southern one. Caeda couldn't stand on the fort, so instead she just blocks the way of the Cavalier that shows up. Barst moves onto the fort and Ogma gets in support range. On EP, Barst kills everything but one, and the two knights move to Jagen. Turn 5, Barst shots one of them with a hammer and Jagen moves back to the other fort. I have Sedgar use the other save point to rig either a Steel bow crit from Windell or a KE crit from Ogma on the other cavalier. I also have Hardin block Gordin from dying. The armor goes for Windell anyways. Turn 6, Barst hammers the boss, Windell+Caeda kills the other knight. After the draco and peg were dead on turn three, Gordin killed the thief (with the help of Caeda) and Palla and Catria (because Minerva would be a troll and heal with Hauteclere.)

Ch8- 6/72 turns

I bet I could have 5 turned it but whatev. I got another Wing Spear and sacrificed some peoples including Roger. Gordin can finally double Knights and mages as of chapter 9.

Ch9-5/77 turns

Reclassed Barst to Pirate and Windell to Sage. I had him tackle the pirates with bad accuracy on both ends. He pulled through with 3 health. This freed Marth and co. from battling them, and they were able to pass through with no trouble (besides the devil!axe pirate.) The devil axe pirate actually OHKO's Marth, so I had to use a save point to not only rig Barst's not dying against the pirates and getting an obligatory amazing level (he had 3 hp and the pirates had ~42 hit), but to make sure the pirate either got a devil reversal or missed (the latter occured.) Windell finished the devil pirate. Marth and Ogma approached the boss from the west side because it would take two turns either way and approaching from the east attracts the pirates coming from south. Marth had to tank one of the hunters otherwise he would block Ogma and Barst from killing the boss. On turn 5, Jagen saved and Ogma critted the boss and Barst Devil finished. I got the bullion and goddess icon.

Ch 10- 8/85 Turns

Barst returned to fighterdom. I had my four sacrifices who would stall for me go north. What this did is change the peg and dracoknight AI to travel north of the castle and charge south on the other side. Marth's group (+Wolf/Sedgar) traveled in the other direction to the throne. Jagen ridersbaned a cav (it was forged way back) Barst hand axed one, and Windell critted one. On EP, Windell chipped one and got lucky with a dodge and killed the other. Caeda finished that one. Gordin meanwhile harassed the thief. The rest just charged up while Caesar, Radd, Athena and Dua got rekt. On turn 7, Ogma baited out the hero and Sedgar used a save point to rig a good level for Ogma. He got damaged by a draco but he didn't die. On turn 8, Windell chipped the hero w/ excalibur and Ogma finished him off, winning Barst's master seal. Jagen used another save point to rig yet another good level for Barst, who ORKO'ed the boss before seizing. I'll probably forge another hammer next chapter since the current one is only at 2 uses (damn was it useful.) Didn't bother with Minerva, she costs way too many turns.

C8 5/67 turns

Pretty much just rushed to the gate. Turn 2, Jagen stood on the famous pseudo-chokepoint between two mountains to only face 2 cavaliers with Ridersbane. Castor and Matthis (both in bow-using classes, Matthis could've been cav but I didn't want to make the hitrates worse via Javelin when Archer also has Speed growth) finished those off on turn 3. Shiida recruited Roger while attacking an Archer. Hardin javelin chipped the Archer, Wolf (Hero) killed the other with Devil Axe. Jagen attacked a Cav with Javelin and got healed. Turn 4, the remaining Knights + Archers closed in, so Sedgar and Roger held the choke. A generic Dark Mage pulled a Horseman. I traded the Ridersbane from Jagen to Hardin since Jagen had to go towards the boss. Turn 5, Hardin ridersbaned a Horseman for Roger to grab the kill with Javelin. Wolf, Navarre and Matthis also ganged up on a Horseman, Castor attacked a Knight for WEXP. Jagen attacked Kannival, Shiida critted him, Marth seized. Could've done it reliably, but that would've required me to drag Hardin and Wolf along additionally when neither gets the bosskill, which isn't worth it. Hardin got the Angelic Robe. Bought stuff, including a Rapier, a Wing Spear, Vulneraries, Door Keys and Silver Lances.

Marth opened the door, Wolf charged ahead. Cav!Radd and Pirate!Caesar distracted some enemy Pirates. Killed the Devil Axe!Pirate with Hardin on EP2 + Hunter!Castor + Matthis. Roger was a Hunter here, Navarre a Myrmidon. The bosskill was done by Devil Axe!Wolf critting on EP, but what I actually planned to do was Devil Axing on EP, then chucking ranged chip with Castor, Hardin and Jagen and then finishing with Devil Axe again. I basically just fought stuff, but it's worth noting that Caesar dodged more than I expected him to, which may or may not have mattered. Got the treasure in the middle with Rickard. Missed Wyrmslayer.

Ch 11- 9/94 Turns

Screw this chapter! I reset so many damn times to prevent Barst from dying! Dammit Anna!

I promoted Barst and classed him to Hero. I also reclassed Caeda to myrm. I also forged a +3 MT +10 Hit Hand axe.

The main group charged around the castle. Barst took out a merc on the way. Jagen camped in the mountains to visit Anna's house. The pegs killed two of the generics and Merric. Windell killed them with Excalibur. The ballista in the way to the castle was taken chipped by Hand!Barst. On EP he killed the sniper (screw him, caused a fourth of my resets) and the horseman. Thank jesus Stonehoist cannot hit the broad side of a barn. After that, Ogma killed the ballista and Barst healed up and stood in range of the Manakete with Devil Axe. On EP, he won. (another reason to reset.) He got the obligatory WTF level. After that, the rest (and a majority) of the resets were Barst standing on a fort and praying that none of the Cavs or Jake (RAGE) kills him. Barst kills the cavs on EP and survives Jake after 19387983659286 resets. On turn 8, Barst killed yet another boss while Caeda and Marth prayed to not die. Turn 9, Jagen visited the house, Caeda got Jake, Ogma+Barst (should have given the kill to Ogma but it doesn't matter) killed the other Ballista, and Marth seized.

Also, I think it might be better in H5 drafts to put Beck into the drafting pool and make Jake free so Beck can actually find some usage (if for some reason the player can't do 13 in sub-5 turns), or just make both free.

Chapter 11 : 9/92 turns

Gave the speedwing to Abel and promoted him. Reclassed Shiida to Myrmidon and Forged a +3MT +15 Hit Javelin.

Jagen stood in range of the Javelin!Cav turn 1, which makes all of them move and allow me to take care of them sooner. A generic was sacrificed to protect my units from the PKs. Merric stayed behind to take care of them. Everyone moved as far as they could, with Wrys healing Abel with the physic staff. Abel ORKO'd the horseman with the javelin forge and weakened the Sniper enough for Roshea to kill him. He also killed the boss with the help of Jagen. Pegasus!Wymp visited Anna house on turn 8 and died to the mercenaries. Shiida recruited Jake on turn 9 and Marth seized. Draug, Athena and Sedgar managed to get some exp at the end.

C10 8/80 turns

Fielded Vyland as a Mage, Navarre as a Cav and the rest in the same classes as before. Considered Warrior!Sedgar for Hammer, but he doesn't double the boss and only reaches on turn 8 so he stayed Hero. Turn 1, I moved my units such that only the upper Peg Knight would go alongside Minerva since I can rout the other fliers with Marth's gang and also have an easier time getting Hauteclere and the Cavs also moved in a straight line, which is handy. Turn 2, Jagen ridersbane chipped the Jav!Cav for Matthis, Shiida + Vyland chipped the Silver!Cav for Marth, Hardin Ridersbane chipped the next Silverlance!Cav for Navarre and Wolf ORKOed the last one with Devil Axe. Turn 3, Hardin and Wolf lined up to facetank the Dracoknights. Sedgar (General) baited Minerva. Turn 4, Castor oneshots Minerva and Roger, a generic Merc and Sedgar shield him from the Pegasus. Vyland + Jagen + Hardin killed the Dracoknight Hardin faced, while Silver!Shiida + Navarre finish the one Wolf tanked. Wolf + Matthis ganged up on the Peg Knight. Turn 5, Castor and Roger ganged up on the Pegasus Knight after she killed Sedgar. Navarre and Vyland attack the Thief, Matthis grabs the kill eventually. Navarre removed the Knight in the fortress on turn 6 so Rickard can get the Physic. Turn 7, Hardin pulled the Hero (barely surviving), Marth counterkilled the Knight. Ch12- 7/101 Turns

Hero Barst shot one of the AK's on turn one and got...a perfect level...why do I even...anyways, then people just move. Windell got hit by the AK but damaged him in return allowing Ogma to finish him off. Barst opened the door on turn 2 with a door key and Marth gave him a master key since I ran out of door keys and conveniently killed off Julian and Rickard (I don't have the ch 10 physic either :facepalm: ) Barst equipped his hand axe and opened the door. On EP he killed the sniper. Gen!Wolf and Sedgar held off the cavs down below (they died in the end, rip). Turn 5, Barst killed the curate next to the boss and Ogma used a save point. Barst either had to dodge the boss at 51 displayed hit and one of the cavs at 58 displayed hit (60 for Heimler) or had to dodge all three cavs but not the boss. He lived. Marth could have seized on turn 6, but I wanted the boots, so Barst killed the other curate and Jagen charged ahead. He barely reached the chest on turn 7. I had Barst chip the general, but he critted him and killed him. Marth seized.

In the north, Jake would chip thieves while Gordin and Ogma killed them. For the mages, Jake would chip one, then Gordin got the kill. When the group of two attacked, Jake chipped one for Ogma while Gordin ORKO'ed the other one (WHAT). When Wolf/Sedgar died, the cavs charged. Only one cav was able to attack Ogma on turn 6 EP, and that one went to Gordin while the Horseman went to Ogma.

Got all the treasure but the dragonpike and Silver sword. Only Midia and Boah survived in the prison.

Chapter 12 : 7/99 turns

Gave the energy drop to Abel and the spirit dust to Merric.

On turn 1, Jagen + Athena + Shiida killed a knight. Abel, Jagen and Athena shielded Shiida from the other knight (who OHKO her) who suicided on Athena on EP. Roshea opened the door on turn 2 and Abel opened the door near the boss on turn 3 with the javelin equipped. He ORKO the Sniper on EP and kill a priest on turn 4. The others opened the chests with the master keys. Abel killed the boss on turn 4 EP. He then got the ridersbane from Roshea and killed one cav on turn 5 PP and the other + Heimler on EP. Athena killed the general for the chest while Draug and Merric killed the mages. Abel had barely enough move to reach the boots on turn 7. Tried to feed a horseman to Draug at the end, but he missed. Got all the treasures. Every prisoner died except Midia.
