Fire Emblem Fates Weapons/Items Thread

This is the topic for information regarding all weapons and items in the game. For now I will be dividing them into three categories: Hoshidan weapons/staves, Nohrian weapons/staves, and Items. Any feedback regarding this organization system is appreciated.

I don't have the game, so I encourage people who do have the game to regularly comment in this thread (or send me a PM) with new information. If possible, screenshots would be great, but not required. In addition to all the relevant numbers, I will also be listing the Japanese names for the convenience of players who don't have the greatest command of Japanese :)

I will also list the names of random weapons I come across in screenshots even if I don't have any information on them.

Please put in spoilers any weapons that might be considered...well, spoilery (such as weapons exclusive to boss characters).

Random Notes:

- Hoshidan classes can use Nohrian weapons of matching type and vice versa.

- If a weapon/item is listed as having a price of 0 G, it means it has no value when sold. It probably cannot be bought via conventional means and must be obtained in some other way.

- It's possible that some of these weapons have side effects, such as stat buffs/debuffs, that are not explained in detail (or at all) in the weapon descriptions. Since the green and red numbers make it impossible to determine the exact values of these stat changes from screenshots alone, if you have the game please figure these out by equipping/unequipping these weapons on the status screen.

- Sorry if some of the descriptions are vague/ambiguous, these are as close as I can get to approximations of the Japanese text, and a good amount of it is indeed vague.

- I took some liberties with a few of the name translations. These are not official localized names (unless specified otherwise)!

I saw a 4x crit damage from hamayama's stream (25 -> 100) for one of the clubs so maybe that's the new higher crit damage mechanic for Killing Edge/Killer Lance.

There seems to be a whole class of throwing weapons on the Hoshido side that have basically the same stats (and double attack threshold -3) as the steel weapons but with 1-2 range...what was even the point of nerfing javelins/hand axes then...?

There seems to be a whole class of throwing weapons on the Hoshido side that have basically the same stats (and double attack threshold -3) as the steel weapons but with 1-2 range...what was even the point of nerfing javelins/hand axes then...?

The point is most likely to make Nohr more challenging. I imagine you'd be limited on finding the 1-2 Naginata in Nohr's path.

Though on the other hand, you can probably use streetpass/My Castle to break through that. Not that it doesn't look like you can use it more generally to do that, via the free recruitment afterward so they probably didn't care about that factor.

I found later that there are also Nohrian versions of these weapons, so it isn't Hoshido exclusive.

I might be proven wrong by people who have the game, but I think all instances of these weapons I've seen so far were in the hands of enemy bosses. Maybe they're enemy-only so stationary bosses can keep their 1-2 range and remain threatening?

Ah, I'm sorry! Looks like I messed up. I think I copy-pasted the line above and then forgot to change the range - and Avoidance as well! I also just noticed that I forgot to add the stat debuffs for the hidden weapons because they didn't appear in the convoy menu. For the same reason I also failed to notice that the Broom also gives critical avoidance. Yeah, I really messed up.

So... let me try this again:

Guessing 0G denotes you cannot buy or sell those weapons? Bovinian is probably right about the 1-2 range melee weapons without the mt/no doubling penalties if that's the case.

I don't have much information on forging yet. What I can tell you is that Ryoma's Raijin katana is 1-2 range but seems to do physical damage, so the lightning effect is purely aesthetic. Weapons like the Levin Sword are still 1-2 range magic though.

Yes. These weapons are obtained randomly by talking to characters in your My Castle. You can "sell" them, but you won't get any gold for them. I assume they're worth 0 gold simply to prevent you from abusing the mechanic by selling the weapons you get in My Castle as a way to get more funds for the main campaign.

In other news, I just got my hands on some more weird weapons:

"Strips the enemy of their clothes when the weapon triangle is in your favour / easy to double attack (+3)"

Highwayman's Axe (追い剥ぎの斧): E-rank Axe / 7 Mt / 65 Hit / 0 Crit / 0 Avo / 1 Range / 0G (selling price)

"Strips the enemy of their clothes when the weapon triangle is in your favour / easy to double attack (+3)"

Highwayman's Yumi (追い剥ぎの和弓): E-rank Yumi / 6 Mt / 65 Hit / 0 Crit / 0 Avo / 2 Range / 0G (selling price)

I assume similar weapons exist in the hidden weapons and magic categories, but these are all I have at the moment.

Yeah 4x damage off Killer weapon crits seems to be a thing; it's what I got from a Killer Axe.
