Hi !

This might be early for that, but now that the game is out in Japan, I have that one question that bothers me so much : how long will it take to finish each game ? Are they REALLY two full length Fire Emblem ?

So, for those who have the game or who watch some streams, how would you rate these two games in comparison with Awakening, in terms of length ? (Let's put MyCastle and the Worldmap out, only the main chapters)

Not two...

Three full length games.

Each one is 28 chapters long, counting the first non-route 6 chapters.

Oh yeah, forgot about the third scenario ! Well, I don't think anyone have finished it already, though.

You'd be wrong on that.

Someone hacked it open and played it, he already finished it.

A lot of maps are shared between campaigns though, from what I was able to see.

Not lots.

I recall the only map shared post route are the Villager recruit(the little girl that seems to be really afraid. donnel 0.5) and the dlc maps.

I'm pretty sure I've seen several other maps that are shared.

At least

the moving boat one and the one where you can use stairs to change buildings / floors.

Don't know if they're DLC though, I must admit.

Moving boat one is a paralogue, if you're talking about what I'm think you are

Paralogues are shared, ala Mozume

From what I can tell, shared maps are

Nohr Ice Map

Building Top Map

The

Hoshido: VS Camilla Round 1, Nohr: VS Takumi Round 2

There's also one more shared map IIRC, it should be the

The theatre where Aqua is dancing

Paralogues are (somewhat) easy to identify, if there isn't a number in the chapter, it's probably a paralogue.

(That, or you're either in the first or last chapter, which should be blatantly obvious)

That's nice, I'm just sooo hyped.

By the way : SPOILER, i guess ?

Since there are still childrens in these games, will we have to complete a Paralogue like in FE:A to recruit them ?

Yes, each child has a paralogue, which means that there are about 8 exclusive paralogues for Nohr and 8 for Hoshido, with 6 shared ones. Although all the paralogues then are reused in the DLC route.

Ok, that's nice !

So, if I understand correctly, the third route will be a mashup of all the content that the two others routes offer, while having a new scenario ?

If by mashup you mean characters, sort of

There is a thread for this somewhere lower down, etc.
