I'm really glad they designed it this way. It's almost better than the marriage seal system to me because it allows you to give one character class access they need without hurting the other. A good example is having Camilla A+ Beruka to get Berserker and Axefaire access. Beruka can still turn around and A+ Selena for Hero; she doesn't have get saddled with Camilla's Dark Mage access (which she doesn't really want or need). But I still wonder if there is any compelling reason to pick a Nohrian secondary class in Conquest or a Hoshidan secondary class in Birthright. Since you can just use a Friendship Seal to reclass the Avatar into any "path appropriate" class I can't think of any reason to do that. Time and a good wiki/compilation. In my case the planning took quite a few hours of my free time to consider PvP, story, relationship chemistry and my other preferences to put them all together. Some rely more on buying the skills, some don't care and go with the flow of the game, some need the best teams EVER and have to use inheritance to its perfection, and others just don't care about pairings at all. He should marry someone like Felicia or Camilla (Really, he mainly wants a magical mother for Nina, so Nyx and Elise (If you are okay with that XD)). A+ him to Subaki in Revelation. In Conquest it does not matter since he gets nothing of value from Arthur and he gets nothing at all from Leo or Odin. For skills, it depends on the class. Some sets: Adventurer -Live to Serve from Felicia (May sound stupid, but Niles makes a great staff bot whether you use him or not. Being locked to bows and all, LtS can help if he ever gets damaged) or Savage Blow from Camilla (Again helps with the fact you are locked to bows. This is handy in every build) -Malefic Aura (Since more often then not, you will be using a Shining Bow, this is handy) -Aggressor (Extra damage is always nice. Though it depends if you are willy to grind him in Dread Fighter for a while) -Darting Blow (Revelation only. It's great for more doubling) or Pass (Just filler.
