If you really can't do it, then I'd allow Shinon, but that's it. It's not that Ike can't handle the enemies, it's just that everyone is forced deployment and I can't keep them out of the way with enemies from every direction and reinforcements coming from the corner where you start. If there isn't, trade all of the items to Shinon or Rolf and have them all camp in the corner. I'd put the healer(s?) farthest away from the enemies, then your units with decent Avoid or bulk (like Mia and Oscar), with the bulkiest covering the outside (Titania and Gatrie).If you still can't do it, then I'll allow Mia and Oscar. At the end add it up and you can have a funny little score of all annoying divergences you had to make in the run. Ema Skye Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 Usually what we do in draft runs is allow a 6 or 7-move unit in that map, otherwise it's incredibly difficult to clear the map. So imo, take your pick of Gatrie, Rhys, Mist, Shinon, Rolf or Mia (would personally prefer anyone except Shinon and Gatrie because their combat is flawed in this map). I stopped at part 4 chapter 2 (Tibarns first deployment) when this thread died though i have done things a little differently and i have max leveled nearly all the laguz but vika and maurim due to bexp abuse and save rigging. School ended up taking more of my time than expected and after the first two weeks I completely forgot about this. D= Sorry about that. It's half term break right now so I'm gonna see if I can get round to finally doing 3-1 after the two month hiatus. I had like 10 fails before I just completely gave up so in the rerun I'll probably just give up and use everyone. So yeh, I'm alive. EDIT: Oh, and I'll probably end up needing a new Photobucket account soon D= 60% full already, entirely from this playthrough. I'll probably stockpile like 10 chapters in the next couple of days and then get a new account while I slowly do updates. Providing all goes well I'll do two a week and finish around Christmas time, where I'll revert back to 1 a day for 4-E. Sorry Tibarn, convenient plot device the blood pact prevents that. I don't recall this ever being mentioned before this scene, and I don't believe it's mentioned again. Huh. It's Levail! You could at least ask nicely. It's kind of sad how this scene is the only character development for any of the Greil Mercs in this game. I'd be ok with that, he won't be doing any fighting. :) It's been 7 chapters and I still don't understand how a name can be considered cute. That's just Ilyana's default state. Actual picture of me when I'm hungry. Seeing as this is the second last screenie in the playthrough I have leeway to talk about Ilyana, I've never understood how her hair is light purple. Did she dye it? Is light purple hair natural in the Fire Emblem world like blue, white and green hair? The world may never know. SHOTS FIRED Somebody kill me. Thank you. I kind of doubt that. Aimee, that's generally referred to as sexual assault. NO SOREN STOP WHY I don't think that was worth the pain. Anyway, Ike and Soren can now support. I'll be desperately needing that Avo this chapter. Ilyana's transferred stuff. You may noticed it's changed a bit since the first playthrough. For reference: The Dawn Brigade don't need the money, so I gave the Greil Merc's the second gem. I might regret giving the Mercs Paragon when it comes to 3-6 but it's probably better in the long run regardless. Celerity and the stat boosters were changed in favour of stuff I'll actually end up needing in Part 3, like Adept. This is also due to me probably going to end up using Celerity in 3-13. You may notice she's promoted, I was planning on having her transfer some more skills but decided against it. No leveling up was involved, only a Master Seal. Venin Edge shenanigans are soon. Stat boosters will be saved until everyone is in Tier 3 so I can get a general idea of their stats. After selling both gems I have 17500. I'll be needing tons of money in this part for Grass buying. Oh, and I also abuse the Silver Card and buy Soren Elwinds for the rest of the game. This only ends up being used once in this chapter, but I might need it in 4-E-3 so whatever. I also sell all lances, axes, daggers and bows except for this Hammer. The Hammer will be crucial to 4-E-2, unless you want to see a sword fight due to it being Easy Mode. I'll need this at one point. 3-5, probably. Same with this. Soren takes some bexp and Paragon for now, I want him Tier 3 before the laguz arrive. You're not technically wrong Ranulf, but we're deploying a grand total of 1 beorc for this chapter. As shown. As an afterthought I buy Soren an Elthunder for the dragons. No Silver Card price cut, but it's not really that important. 48 screenies in and we're just starting the chapter. I would have attacked the Swordmaster here, but Ike couldn't double it. D= I'm feeling the Anna blessing already. Never, mind, no I'm not. .-. Radiant Dawn supports/10 Based on Ike's level just now, I'm not really expecting a crit. Called it! Ah, RNG mood swings. ... Or is it just Soren mood swings? I'm not sure. It probably is. I realise midbattle that Soren is my only non-Light mage, so I might as well train him in everything. Considering there are four of these guys, I'm not too confident of Soren's chance of survival.. Defense won't save you from being killed, Soren. And then I remembered Ike has Provoke. Woops. Ike, please gain Speed, I don't want you to turn out the exact opposite of Micaiah... I heal Soren here because I'm not taking any chances. And this is the default Fire tome. I don't even want to know what Rexflame looks (or feels) like. YOU HAD ONE JOB IKE I don't trust Ike to gain regular levels from here on out. He's turning in to an anti-Micaiah. Does this dialogue change if you don't bring many units? I don't recall ever seeing this before. Apparently I didn't screenie Level 18, but it as Strength and Luck. Ike just casually one shots this Dracoknight. And Soren kills the boss for just about the worst level ever. Meh, at least he's 4 points Luck blessed. Why is an army of 30+ retreating over two people? 5 turns isn't that fast, but ok. SHOTS FIRED Considering there isn't a single Sniper in that army, I doubt it. I feel like Ranulf is the only sensible laguz in this game. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT Ranulf looks incredibly deformed here. Skrimir, what did you even do? I'm pretty much forced to use unequipped Haar flying around here since it's basically impossible otherwise considering the turn limit. You must wait for an entire month till the bandwidth will go back to zero. This destroyed an entire LP of mine. Now I use imgur.
