Funny, my Vanessas have always been trash. Never proc'd strength, even after promotion, whereas Tana has almost always capped strength and speed. When you get Tana, she's either a) competing with Vanessa or, worse yet b) all but worthless for her joining chapter and then the very next chapter you get a third flier. And her strength growth is only 10% better than Vanessa's. Only 1 in 10 levels will she get strength and Vanessa not get strength (according to averages)... In fe8, availability is no longer a valid concern due to how easy it is to abuse the tower of vani. Not to mention Tana's superior speed and that 10% extra plays a huge deal because she can wield the legendary spear far better than Vanessa could ever dream of doing. Personally, I think its more fun to use all three rather than bench one and use only one. You know. Oh yeah, Selena is my offense magic user of choice in this game, always a must use even if she can't take a hit! Sheez louise! Even without weapons, this guy is crazy! A lot of my units were JUST on the verge of leveling, so I make them chip the boss so they can get that last bit of XP. It wasn't like serious boss abuse or anything. (Notice Colm's level... I already love him... he's the real antidote to Kitty!) And finisher! HOWEVER, while all the original FE8 eventing uses character slots and stuff, the same is absolutely not true for dialogue. There have been a LOT of switched roles. For example, We fight Gerik in Chapter 5. So, because of that, I don't think any predictions based on normal FE8 would be accurate. Ephraim: Allright. Encoded scrolls?
