"Ah, well now to nice to meet the both of you!" Suva beamed at the two.

"Templar," Kalao corrected Helma in a surprisingly soft, almost automatic way as he stepped towards the steeds of the group.

"Yes, Templar, a most honorable position," Suva continued with a very proud and factual tone. "And worry not about such confusion, young maiden. Where I studied, I was one of four young men named Suva! I've learned quite a bit about keeping such things straight."

Wordlessly, Kalao went to take the reigns of the pegasus and the pair of horses. He looked over to his elder for an answer to the question of accompaniment.

"If you insist, I suppose you all might," Suva answered graciously, making a small gesture which almost might have become a shrug if it had grown up. "Though you need not if you wish not. Kalao is very good with animals, you see." The young priest nodded once to confirm. "Now now, let us not lose our tempers," the old priest insisted. "Though, she presents a strong case against you, young Templar, even if its presentation is somewhat unkind. We should not make assumptions of other's abilities, and it is a righteous thing to respect a woman's privacy."

Still making no further comments, though perhaps muttering something silently if one looked at his lips and squinted, Kalao took the reigns of Garen while waiting to be handed those of Leon and Gareth's horses. Garen, Gareth, too many names were too similar to each other in his opinion.

"You need not help with any cooking either," Suva continued. "You are all our guests, after all, and to help a member of the church and his friends is payment enough. However," he said while accepting the bag of coin, "your contribution is much appreciated."

Gareth looses 150 gold, but gains an old man's respect. Worth it.

"Ah, the river Paritha. It's quite a nice river," Suva remarked dumbly as Kalao went around, holding out his hands as a silent request for the reigns of Eva and Cherubin. "Do be aware, though, the water can be quite cold at this hour. You might wish to wait to wash until morning."

Helena was conflicted. The elder's words stung a bit at her pride, but he seemed gentle enough. "I find much confidence in the presence of animals, sir Suva, if I may refer to you as such." She hated talking in this fashion. Too much effort on simply sounding important instead of having much of a message to actually say. Still, it was the way she was originally talk to speak, given her standing. "I understand you only seek to give is kindess, but I would appreciate not have every effort we take to pay you back your kindness with ours barred with further pleasantries. Now, if you would excuse me, I would like to see to the care-taking of my horse." Helena took the reins of Garen back from Kalao, being careful to trade them carefully as you always did while he awaited the rains to the other beasts.

Gareth was tired of this disastrous day even if he tried his best to hold his face in front of Suva and Kalao. Soon a grim expression was born on his visage as he saw the symbol of Urga on one of the banners. The burden of his mutiples failures was too much recent for him to forget nor forgive. "I... I need to talk a walk anyway. Even if it's alone" suddenly mumbled the Templar trying to hide as much as he could the nascent tears in his eyes. Then he gave gareth reins to kalao and hurried out of the temple. "I will be back before the full moon rise above the temple. If you need me i will be at the Paritha river !" shouted gareth without turning back.

Eventually he arrived at the border of the river, took off carefully his dirtied clothes and whashed them in the river with a piece of soap that he had in his bag then he plunged him self in the cold water disregarding the priest advices therefore trying his best to cleanse himself while praying Urga for forgiveness. The moonlight was glittering on the naked skin of the young man bodies as the cold water made him shrill and the stars where shaking before his eyes.

"I find much confidence in the presence of animals, sir Suva, if I may refer to you as such."

"Hah! Oh, I don't much fancy myself a sir. If you need a title to call me by, Elder will do, though Suva would work just as well."

"If you need me i will be at the Paritha river!" shouted Gareth without turning back.

Suva's eyes followed the fleeing templar. "Poor child," he mumbled, shaking his head.

Meanwhile, Kalao took reigns from Leon and returned them the Helena without commenting, though he had at least directed a concerned glance in the direction Gareth fled.

"Why don't you all go and tether your mounts, then return here?" Suva suggested. "I think we should allow the boy a bit of privacy."

Helena expertly handled the animals towards the place I also instructed. She had a lot she wished to say to the silent creatures, but held her tongue for a few minutes, thinking on a few things. The templar's outburst had surprised her, a

He hadn't seemed the type to run off like that. Helena took a few moments to ease some of the animal's discomfort, since most of them weren't used to her hands not each other yet. She patted down her clothes, trying to make them seem at least halfway decent under the armor she had been given, before making her way back to Leon, leaving him time to his own steed.

Answering Leon with a nod, the younger priest led the two riders and their mounts down a path parallel to the river, eventually stopping at a wooden pole lodged into the ground, coming up to about chest height. Helena might have muttered to the mounts, but Kalao's lips stayed stiff and still during the walk, and even as he tied the animals only seemed to use them for expressions, barely whispering a few times as he tied their reigns to the pole. Once that was done, he took a step back and stared up at the sky. "It's a clear night," he said, almost dumbly before he lowered his gaze back to Leon and "Helma". "We should return to the temple." Making no sound but footsteps, he turned himself around and headed back in the direction they came.

Perissa Outskirts

As the group parts, or at least, divide into smaller groups and part, the night falls, the tropical sunlight giving way to the dark purple blanket of night. Cool winds blow through the air and rustle the branches of trees, accompanied by the sound of insects and nocturnal creatures moving about while the world of man grows silent.

Or at least, mostly silent.

hbLLylm.png

As the midnight moon shines on the sleeping world below, a long figure comes to stand on the cliff, looking out over those parties present, making note of what it had seen that day and how it had been done, as the two new Hellenes had done hours before. Concluding its observations, the figure then dashed off, silently, into the night.

Northern Perissa Town

The next morning, before the sun had even fully ascended beyond the tops of trees, Saban and Nasba reared their cart at the northern edge of Perissa, awaiting their group of noble adventurers to arrive as they had instructed last evening.

Temple of Urga

"Children...children!" The surprisingly firm voice of the priest Suva filled the temple tent, where the young riders had been invited to sleep. "Look, the sun rises! Morning has come."

For the remaining of the time before finally heading to sleep, Zaragoza had remained by the fire, writing down. Late-night work wasn't foreign to him, but for this time he didn't had to stay awake much. With his job for the day done, he could finally retire to sleep.

---

Next morning had finally come, and with it the true start of the adventure. Zaragoza emerged from his tent. He had to get to the appointed place, but knew he hadn't been the only one to stay in the area. He figured he'd have to do a bit of waiting if they weren't ready yet, otherwise it would seem rude to leave them behind. Besides, one of them still had his spare tent.

Helena work slowly. She had been graciously given a room separate from the other two. She took some time to get her bearings, remembering the events of the prior day. With a few grunts she got up and dressed herself, plopping back down onto her clothes she had slept on, trying to forget the mess she'd gotten herself into.

Leon woke earlier than the others, getting his armor and clothing ready for the day. It seemed to him he would not be able to get any fights in over at the arenas, at least for the morning, from his experience, it seemed the better fighters would arrive later, as more people there to watch meant more gold earned from fighting. Putting his usual outfit on, he went out of his room, looking around.

Gareth woke up hardly as the sun first beam pierce trough the tent's fabric. As His last night has been hectic with dreams and nightmares alike. then, The young templar got his cloth ready and tightened his pendant close to his heart. Blinded by the sun as he exited the tent to see the kind face of Suva.

"Salutation, Noble priest ! Urga's blessed us with a clear sky and a bright sun today. How was your night ?" Told him Gareth still unsure of himself but a bit more confident than he was on the previous night as the sun filled his soul with hope.

Helena wasn't an early rider. She tended to get up in an adequate period of time, just never early. As she finally roused herself from her pity nap, she stumbled a bit getting up. Checking her hair and other frivolities, she just have up and left it tied up and a bit messy.

It wasn't normal of her to be so slobbish. Consequence of a restless sleep the might prior. Leaving her belongings for the monent, she stumbled for the temple's entrance, looking to go about her morning routines with Garen to rouse her a bit. Grumbling as she slouched along, she bumped right into Gareth as he was having a conversation. She half mumbled half growled a careless apology as she pushed last the two towards the spots the animals were being tied.

Temple of Urga

"Salutations, young Templar!" Suva called back to Gareth with a wave. "Indeed, today is certainly a blessed day! The sun has yet to come to the center of the sky, and yet the day is so bright still!" The old priest gave a faint chuckle, for no reason other than that he felt it was a bright day, so it seemed appropriate to act brightly. "My night was quite restful, and how was yours? You seem in much better spirits this morning."

Suva watched as Helena pushed by them, sighing as he turned his attention back to Gareth, after the woman was out or earshot of hushed words. "It seems that the night has not improved everyone's attitude, however," Suva smirked. "Your other companion, the horseman Leon, left earlier this morning. Kalao has left earlier this morning as well, into town. I know you are very busy, but do you think you might have time to seek him?"

As Helena moved along towards the post to which the mounts had been tied last night, she found only Gareth's horse Cheribim and her own mount Garen still tied. It seemed that someone had taken Leon's horse, most likely Leon.

Helena went about preparing Garen, though she was a lot more limited in what she could do. Still, it was nice to just do some monotonous work she was used to for once. Looking over and seeing Cheribim, she noticed the horse was still quite dirty from the nights previous adventures. Sighing to herself, she went to go clean and prep the other horse. Being slow and cautious, showing she meant no harm, she approached the other horse and petted her snout. Quickly getting acquainted with Gareth's mount, she got to work. The horse was obviously taken care of consistently, though not nearly to the level she took care of Garen. Still, she was somewhat surprised how much Gareth had kept up with her maintenance. Maybe she had him pegged wrong? Regardless, she finished caring for the two of them and sat off to their side for a bit, contemplating things and breathing heavily from the morning routine. Certainly one way to wake up.

"My night was actually quite tormented but the feeling of this newborn sun on my skin reinvigorate me with a feeling that I can change the world with my hope and strength." Replied the young templar with conviction. " I think i don't have anything to attend to before the rendezvous hour with those helenes so i will look for Kalo and if i encounter on the way I will tell him that you need him..."

After saluting his elder Gareth headed to the the improvised "stables" when he saw from afar Helena taking care of Cherubin. He took his time to observe the red-headed girl, touched by her unusual gentleness or at least compared to what he was used to see from her behavior... The knight then gently approached the one who called herself "Helma" from behing without any kind of precipitation and quietly said "I don't know how to thank you... I could have taken care of it myself but your skills in animal caring seem much better than mine. It's no surprise from what i saw Torini's are much closer to nature, sadly since i received an helene education i have noway near your experience nor your talent. Would you care if I escort you to the meeting point ? It"s the only manner i can show you my gratitude for now and it will be an occasion do know each other better."

"I see, well, then it is good the sun rises each morning," Suva replied. "Oh, if you would, yes, that would be quite nice-" The young Templar saluted him, a sign of respect perhaps a bit too formal for Suva, but he hardly felt it appropriate to mention such, and then headed to were the horses had been tied.

"Oh, young people," Suva sighed. "How admirably eager they are..."

Helena turned towards the knight as he approached her. She was pleasantly surprised at his kindness. However, she wasn't about to fully let the knight off the hook. "Your horse was in surprisingly good condition, considering all you'd been through yesterday, sir knight. It's a good thing I decided to look at her when I did. I hate to think of such a beautiful steed remaining so dirty for so long. You see...horses are my life. And if we are to travel togethor, I'm going to see to it that they receive the treatment they deserve..."

With her little lecture complete, she handed the reins of his horse back to him before mounting her Pegasus. She beckoned Gareth ahead. "I will gladly allow you to escort me. It's far better than traveling alone."

Cedric had awoken just before the brink of dawn, though in truth he hardly slept at all. Something tells me that won't be going away soon. Cedric massaged his sore shoulder as he got up. He packed in a hurry, only slowing down to make sure his cravat was perfect, or as perfect as he could make it. Once he was ready to go he pulled out a small pouch, the fruit of his meeting from the previous night. I don't even know what I'm going to do with this yet. Honestly, I'm not even sure what I'm doing here at all. He took one last look at the pouch before putting it away and heading to appointed place, just north of Perissa. But I'm here, and I have stumbled across a great opportunity. I don't know where this will lead me, but I suppose that's part of the fun, in a way! After all, what else could I be doing? His doubts dispelled, Cedric arrived at the meeting place as dawn's light pierced the sky, where Saban and Nasba were waiting.

When Cedric arrived at the designated place, he found an empty dirt road leading into a forest in the distance, about a hundred meters straight ahead. By the side of the road, resting under a steel blue sky tainted with violet, on a patch green grass which encroached on the path, was the wagon Saban and Nasba had arrived in the previous day. The back entrance of the wagon had been closed off with a door of cloth, and even the horses seemed slow to wake up in the cool early morning.

Outside of the tent where Leon had been ordained to sit stood the old priest, in a yellow robe nearly identical to the one he'd worn yesterday, which very well might have been that same robe. He seemed to doing some sort of meditation, sitting quietly on the ground with his legs crossed, his face pointed away from the tent and to the horizon. Hearing footsteps behind him, he quickly turned his head around. "Ah, young knight, you awake! It's good to see that I need not wake you!" Suva chuckled. "Your two companions headed off earlier this morning."

In order to make time while waiting, Zaragoza decided to pack up his tent already. It wouldn't take that long, but it was still better than nothing.

However, that still wasn't a long enough wait. So now he had to occupy himself with something else. Debating if to head out instead of waiting, it proved to be no need as he got his answer, spotting Valor in the distance.

Wether or not she had already noticed, Zaragoza decided to just approach her already.

"Good morning!" He called out once he had gotten near enough.
