A Serenes Forest SSB Mains study (Melee)

Now whats this you may ask? Well its a small thing for data, because I'm a nerd and like statistics, what I'm going to do is post up the smash characters from 64, first you will vote on who you main or used most in the game.

Then you will also put who you use the least/dislike the most.

Posts describing your choices would be cool too, but optional, I'll get to my own sometime.

After awhile of N64's poll being up, we'll switch to Melee for a bit, then we will switch to Brawl, then Smash 4

Least Mained: a 5 way tie of Fox, Samus, Jigglypuff, Ness and Luigi (1)

Captain Falcon feels very good in it.

Conversely, I can't really "get" Jigglypuff.

For N64 (which I admittedly dont play that often) I feel C. Falcon was the most fun to play and the most powerful. However, he kind of got seemingly worse with each game it seems, or maybe its just that I decided to main Samus and then Marth in the later games.

Also, I just never liked Yoshi.

Falcon was really good in Melee, bleh in Brawl and is now Pretty good again, he's been all over lol.

I've never been good with Yoshi lol.

Ness is the best. He's fun and a Mother character. What's not to love?

DK is the worst and I'll put that for every game. Maybe switch it up with Diddy.

Geh, so much opposition towards jiggs. Rest is fun and silly, best character for every smash.

I was never fond of how Yoshi played

In N64, I was best with Yoshi and C. Falcon, but in the end, used Yoshi more.

DK has just never been my style character in any smash game.

Ness isn't really my type of character.

Link was my favorite character so I played him.

Jiggly I didn't understand so I never played them.

I don't exactly remembered who I played the least, but I recall not using Jiggly all that often.

Pikachu has always been like that, one character alot of people do like, but only a select few can actually properly use, THE PIKA ELITE.

My favourite was Link due to having been a huge fan of OoT. His inclusion is probably the reason I bought that game.

Least favourite is Jigglypuff because... well, she hurts people by sleeping... somehow. And when I can land her other two special moves, I feel like I could have just used a smash attack. And of course, she is the lightest character by far and even dies instantly if her shield breaks. I didn't know what to make of her.

Honourable mention goes to Donkey Kong, since the N64 visuals really wasn't kind to the poor guy.

Falcon because Hyrule Falcon Punch Combo opportunities in friendlies. Ness least favorite because I'm not a fan of his playstyle with the N64 mechanics.

I only played Smash 64 when I was a kid. At that time I was just a Playstation kid, so I was largely unfamiliar with Nintendo characters. I used Pikachu and spammed Down-B.

I picked Ness because he's the one character I still can't really use.

I don't really have a least favorite but I picked Samus anyhow.

Also fighting Kirby is just plain not fun almost all the time, though Pikachu is hardly better.

I'll vote for Sheik simply because Marth was more my best friend's character.
