Knight Falchion Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) NieR, Asura's Wrath, and Undertale are three games I only got because I loved their soundtracks, and I got said soundtracks before the games themselves. I also love the music of FE2, FE4, FE12, Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, the Bayonetta games, and the Xenoblade games, though they aren't quite on the same level as the first three I mentioned. Disinnocence Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) Hands down, Hotline Miami (1 & 2, but 1 moreso). I believe the music in that is mostly (not saying the game itself isn't fantastic) what makes it great. I just wish there was some way to buy it other than through Steam. Some others would be Persona 4, Journey, Transistor, Year Walk, Closure, and the radio stations in GTA V, which in some ways, it's not exactly a OST, but I really like the style of it. Lantairu Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 Final Fantasy VI is godly (which is fitting now that I think of it) Chrono Trigger is great Castlevania Symphony of the Night Always a soft spot for Pokemon GSC For FE, 4 is great Most any Zelda game, especially Link to the Past, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and holy shit Wind Waker. I don't think I have to even say for that game. Even though overall, I think Wind Waker is a little overrated, I am totally down with its soundtrack. Devil Survivor (/Overclocked) and Strange Journey also have really interesting soundtracks, though there are only a few standout tracks I really enjoy. Majin Tensei 2 is the one I listen to the most.
