The sprites you showed us do show some promise (I like the design and concept), all you have to do is work on your skills. Nobody is born an artist. If you really don't want to do it, there's some spriters who would be willing to help you if you pay them, otherwise you can use the Paladin w/ magic or Great Knight w/ magic animations in the animations thread, at least as placeholders.
