eclipse
Let's go with Caesar. And the start of my log~! Prologue chapters Fed kills to Marth, Frey, and a bit to Jagen. Got Frey to D swords. Jagen ate a Pegasus Knight crit. Chapter 1 - 5/5 Completely forgot I drafted Draug! He sat on the sidelines! Anyway, due to the fact that Frey and Marth had slightly better stats than Jagen (and by "slightly better" I mean "9 speed doubles while 8 speed doesn't"), all I had to do was get Jagen to the throne, where a turn 4 EP and PP Silver Lance left the boss in kill range. Caeda liquidated some stuff for a Javelin, which she managed to ferry to Jagen. Stats (before I forget again): Name Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Marth Lord 6.84 23 7 0 6 9 10 8 0 Frey Cavalier 6.85 23 9 0 8 9 3 9 0 Jagen Paladin 2.50 23 8 1 11 8 1 9 6 Draug Knight Base everything Chapter 2 - 4/9Draug went up north and cleaned that cesspool out, while Marth, Frey, and Jagen headed towards the boss. The save point was burned right before Jagen attacked the boss with the Silver Lance on turn 3 PP. Everyone that wasn't Caeda or otherwise drafted went south, to distract most of the enemies, while my drafted units went north. Marth got the village before seizing. Name Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Marth Lord 7.72 24 8 0 7 10 11 8 0 Frey Cavalier 7.39 23 9 0 9 9 4 9 0 Jagen Paladin 2.87 23 8 1 11 8 1 9 6 Draug Knight 2.70 21 8 0 3 4 2 11 0 Chapter 3 - 5/14Sent Caeda up north with Ogma's Iron Sword, along with Barst and Ogma. Everyone else hoofed it towards the boss. Recruited Navarre, tossed him the Iron Sword, and had him and Julian go to town on the bad guys. Used Bord, Cain, and Abel to lure the fighter group a bit to the south, so that Marth, Frey, and Jagen could reach the boss area (Draug sorta hung out in the space between the village and the forts). On turn 4, Jagen waited next to the boss with a Silver Lance, and I burned a save point. Jagen hit with the Silver Lance and didn't eat a crit, which meant that Frey could "chip" with Ogma's Steel Sword, and Jagen could use a much more accurate Iron Sword to finish. Name Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Marth Lord 7.89 24 8 0 7 10 11 8 0 Frey Cavalier 7.58 23 9 0 9 9 4 9 0 Jagen Paladin 3.52 24 8 1 11 8 2 9 6 Draug Knight 3.40 21 8 0 3 5 2 11 0 Julian Thief 4.27 18 5 0 6 12 8 4 0 Navarre Myrmidon 3.90 Base everything Chapter 4 - 6/20Reclass time~! Jagen to Dracoknight, Draug to Pirate, and Navarre to Cavalier. Navarre sat on the nearby fort while everyone else charged towards the throne. Draug killed a thief before catching up with everyone else and killing one of those mounted promoted nightmare thingys. Lena was reclassed to Pegasus Knight to recruit her brother, bait the horsemen, and die. Matthis did the same thing as his sister, right down to being bait. Jagen killed the boss with a couple of Silver Lance shots and an Iron Axe to finish. Everyone else snagged some experience and levels. Name Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Marth Lord 8.06 25 9 0 7 10 12 8 0 Frey Cavalier 8.38 23 10 0 10 9 4 9 0 Jagen Drakky 4.06 22 10 1 11 8 2 12 3 Draug Pirate 4.84 22 8 0 3 11 2 4 0 Julian Thief 4.82 18 5 0 6 12 8 4 0 Navarre Cavalier 5.33 22 8 0 3 6 8 11 0WTF at Marth having the highest HP in the army.Chapter 5 - 4/24 This clear was a little dicey because Jagen couldn't double the boss. Speaking of, reclassed Jagen to Paladin because screw Steel Bows. Navarre and Julian played with the northern cavaliers, while everyone else went to the boss area. Abel bought some Javelins, while the undrafted Wolfguard shoved their weapons into Vyland's hands. Because of the way I positioned the Wolfguard, all the archers went south, which meant that Jagen had no problems slipping past them. Frey managed to 4HKO a Knight, and Draug/Vyland make a pretty good tag team (if a little squishy). Jagen had to hit the boss on turn 3 PP, turn 3 EP, and turn 4 PP to put him into Frey's murder range. Meanwhile, the old guy had to dodge one 69% hit (which he did, because Frey didn't bother dodging the Knight he'd beat up earlier). MVP of this run was an unarmed Roshea dodging a Knight hit that should've left him six feet under. Sedgar wasn't so lucky. Navarre is a couple of hits away from D lances. Everyone else is. . .uh. . .much worse, weapon-rank wise. But that's what gaiden chapters are for~! SORRY!Chapter 6 - 6/30 Oh hey, another chapter that forces me to think! Marth, Jagen, Frey, and Navarre ran to the throne. Draug used himself as bait, Julian looted chests, and Vyland hunted down some thieves (with a bit of help from Julian). Got all the treasure except for the Killing Edge, and I'm damn proud of that! Speaking of that throne area. . .Jagen wound up taking the brunt of most of the attacks, so he ran through an entire vulnerary. On turn 4, Julian and Vyland got the Armorslayer, with Vyland getting the kill with a full inventory. Meanwhile, I parked Jagen next to the boss and chugged a vulnerary. Meanwhile, Frey and Navarre cleared out everything except a single archer (who was busy playing with Barst, who in turn had gone shopping), and Marth ran just out of melee range of the boss. On turn 5 PP, the boss had 12 HP. Navarre fished the Armorslayer out of the convoy and killed the boss (13 HP damage, or just enough). Used a save point before that stunt! Vyland was supposed to chase down the Seraph Robe thief, but he kinda critted him instead, so he used turn 6 to chuck a Javelin. So apparently Vyland's hair is magical or something. . .just LOOK at what happened! eclipse
I'll just grab Midia and regret it later. Will update this post with current progress as soon as I'm done with Chapter 7. what do you mean earlier post? Chapter 6x - 20 The bus took so long that I was able to complete this one while on the road, and I had a hell of a Chapter 7 run going, so no stats. Reclassed Navarre to Myrmidon, Jagen to Sage, and Roshea to Archer. Here's what needed to be done before the chapter ended: - Athena gets on my team - Draug hits D axes - Navarre gains Speed - Roshea gains two levels (in the vain hope that he'll gain Speed) - Jagen hits D staves - Julian hits D swords Managed to get all of this done right before the map ended (and by "right before", I mean "Draug hit D axes on turn 19"). Roshea hit D bows, as well. Chapter 7 - 6/36 Reclassed Navarre to Cavalier, Athena to Pegasus Knight and Jagen to Dracoknight. This run was super-weird. Roshea missed a vital shots (Steel Bow to the generic Dracoknight), which somehow didn't get anyone important killed. I had Navarre land a turn 5 EP Armorslayer hit (13 damage), then wanted Jagen to do 8 damage with the Silver Lance. . .so Jagen went and critted the boss instead (had this not happened, Navarre would've gotten the kill with the Armorslayer). Now freed of boss-killing duties, Navarre chucked a Javelin at a random enemy, and missed. Frey rolled his eyes and chipped with the Iron Sword, so Vyland could actually get a kill to his name. Dunno how it all worked out, but it did. The weirdness continues! Reset highlights: - Jagen missed a 81% against the boss - EVERYONE whiffed on turn 5 Navarre sprinted to the throne, with Jagen acting as an escort. Had Navarre hit once on turn 4 EP, then SAVED (grumble grumble), then had Jagen chip with a Silver Lance, and then Navarre finished with the Armorslayer. Everyone else got some experience. Roshea stood next to Caesar while the latter won me some money. Radd went shopping for vulneraries (finally). I'm reclassing Roshea out of Curate, because that was a one-time only deal. Water-walking meant that Caesar could smack pirates with relative safety. Athena flew towards Jeorge's village, taking out a couple of enemies on the way over. Draug joined Caesar in the ocean, with some undrafted units as bait. Everyone else headed towards the boss. The Devil Axe guy hit himself over the head, and my final "take" on this run was Marth getting some EP chip in with a Steel Sword, and Frey finishing with a Steel Lance. Sent all the undrafted units north towards Minerva, while everyone of note went south. I kept the southern stairway open on turn 2 so that the Levin Sword thief would run south instead of east. Made said thief regret everything with Draug. Caesar kept the rear guarded, and Julian got Physic on turn 4 or so. All the mounts ran towards the boss, with Vyland peeling off to do shopping, Frey and Athena going after the Master Seal (Athena FINALLY hit D lances), and Jagen on healer-blicking duty. This left Navarre free to Armorslayer the boss. . .and he had two full turns to do so. Overall, one of the smoother maps. Reclassed Jagen to Paladin. My group splintered as I approached the boss area. Roshea stayed behind to kill the pegasi while keeping close to the save point. Athena flew over the mountains, killed the mercenaries, and found Anna's house. Julian, Draug, and Caesar hit the market proper, though I don't think I did anything except have Draug beat up someone in the arena. Everyone else stormed the boss area, with Navarre baiting the bow guys so that Frey and Jagen could take them out for good. Frey killed the dragon, and I barely recruited Jake in time (this is so that I don't have to spend time killing him). Said female generic was sacrificed in the name of the greater good. Leaving Jagen's stats alone, because he'll go right back to being a flying unit next chapter. Squidmark Iggy
K, I finished not one, but TWO Chapters! Ain't that a treat. Chapter 1: 10/10 Yeah, this is the slowest Chapter 1 strat ever, I know. Then again, it did boil down to Marth and Jagen killing shit. Also, Marth killed the boss. Chapter 2: 7/17 Finally, we have two more units that join our magical journey through this draft: Ogma and Barst! Barst mostly killed the enemies in the north, and Ogma cleaned up what Marth did not kill. Jagen sat down for the first turns, then he started killing the units up north, and then he killed the boss, too. Also, Castor and Darros died. No regrets whatsoever. Unit Class Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Wpn Marth Lord 11.03 26 11 0 7 12 16 9 0 B Swords Jagen Paladin 04.10 23 7 1 11 8 2 10 6 D Swords, B Lances Ogma Mercenary 05.45 23 6 0 11 13 3 6 0 C Swords Barst Fighter 04.10 25 10 0 6 10 6 6 0 D Axes Going to do Chapter 3 now, I'll wait in case someone picks Matthis. If not, I'll pick him, if possible. EDIT: And would you look at that, I just did Chapter 3! Chapter 3: 10/27 Honestly, if I didn't send Marth up north, I think I could have saved some turns. Oh well. Recruited Navarre for that sweet Killing Edge of his. Also, Cain and Bord died, because who gives a shit about them. Moblin Major General
If undrafted Julian can't do his job, then I'll take Rickard.
Cyas
By the way, Gradivus, you have Jagen's Spd listed as 2 since chapter 3. It's probably still just 8 but I thought I should let you know.
