Does anyone have a safe, virus free DS Emulator I could download, like provide me with a link or something as well as an fe 12 English patch as I'm a bit a noob with this sort of stuff.

http://www.nogba.com/ - No$GBA, Really good.

http://desmume.org/ - Desmume Emulator. Personal Favorite.

http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Heroes_of_Light_and_Shadow_Translation - Translation Patch. The download option is on the right side. Download and unzip the file. Inside, you may have to dig around, there's an instruction textfile. But patching it is pretty simple, you use a .bat file(I think) named Drag Clean Rom here. You drag the clean rom over it, and it does the rest.

http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=53601- Gradivus' post. Save file with H4 unlocked, male class sets unlocked, and the three DLC items.

Desmune sucks the lag and hyperspeed I cant dealt with I just when and got one called Na$gba emulator plays Fe 12 like a dream

It's your computer. As Naughx said, DeSmuMe is processor-taxing, and will require higher specs to run smoothly. But that's because DeSmuMe is more accurate (read: running closer to the DS hardware) than No$GBA, and emulating consoles accurately requires more CPU-usage.

its a windows 10 laptop I cant see how that would hinder its performance

You can get a prepatched rom on nicoblog

I had to turn it on manually, I dunno if that changed.

Well I'm using the compiled dev svn builds, but the Windows build should still use Dynarec JIT instead of Interpreter.

You can still pass --cpu-mode=1 as a parameter. (Even being the default)

Also, make sure to pass --3d-engine=2 to use OpenGL instead of the Internal Rasterizer. (From what I know, even the Windows builds doesn't support D3D, so you have to use OpenGL)

That's the second super-heavy warning I've had to give out in this topic.

Here's a quick checklist of what's okay to post and what isn't:

Okay:

- Emulator discussion (that's DeSmuMe/No$GBA and its ilk)

- Where to find the translation patch itself

Not okay:

- Naming/linking a ROM site. This includes PMing this info, too.

If you really, REALLY want to argue about the Not Okay, stuff, feel free to shoot Tangerine a message. PMing me won't do squat, since I'm not the one in charge of the rules.
