This was literally just a joke, a one-off that'll be over and done after this, just a fun joke-thing to do. This was stated multiple times when this was planned. There is no "hypocrisy" in this. This topic is in poor taste and Gaius at least should get the same treatment or else this topic is hypocritical. Awakening itself has a massive hatebase so stuff like this just goes unopposed. It won somehow, but it was decided to put it in a separate thread and do an actual serious game in the main one. That's a rampant generalization you've got on your hands. You can't actually believe that. It's wrong to single out Tharja out of hundreds of FE characters. It's actually ridiculous that you'd say that I'd support killing anyone but Xenoblade characters and it's actually downright offensive for you to make such a sweeping generalization about me. It's not every facet of my being.Want to know why this makes me so mad? I'm not attracted to Tharja, and in fact, I don't particularly care for her at all. I care because this is just another item on the pile of rampant Awakening hate that somehow gets a pass yet if you say anything bad about older games, you're obviously wrong. Awakening is the best FE game and saved the series, so seeing all of the hate for it should probably just reaffirm my choice in the first place. Frankly, this isn't funny at all. Tharja doesn't deserve this for being a socially awkward character who cares too much to show her affection the way normal people do. If you want to hate something and be vocal about it, and expect others to respect your opinion, then you have to respect their opinions too. My opinion is I hate both Tharja and FE13, and that the GBA games were the best entries in the series. Do you have to agree with me? No, you don't.
