Paralogue 1 - 9

Elmar and Otto managed a level, both of which welcome the offensive boost.

Chapter 17 - 7/133

Promoted Kenshi at level 14, because he's probably not going to get any more levels as a bow guy only. Burned a Seraph Robe on Nora, since she's taking all the flak, and the Boots, because she's my main damage dealer. Cooked up a pot of chili, which Nora nommed. Kenshi got HP/Str/Spd/Def tonics, and Nora got HP/Spd/Def tonics - so that they'd survive.

Nora paired up with Niles and ran to the boss. Everyone else grabbed what kills they could (with Elbow Room securing one). Saizo survived (somehow). Kenshi needed to bait Master Ninjas, and survive, which was possible thanks to promo bonuses, Brass Shuriken bonus, and a Mitsuru pair-up.

Gotta hit the treasure rooms next chapter, so I have the Seals necessary to promote my guys!

Chapter 18 - 11/144

Fed Nora, Elmar, and Kenshi HP/Def tonics. Nora got an additional Str tonic (for consistent ORKOing under Enfeeble) and Kenshi got a Spd tonic (so he could double Paladins).

Nora/Niles cleared out Zola's area (and an Iron Yumi I got from some other castle was enough for Niles to ORKO the Sorcerers). Everyone else went after the generic prisoner-guys. Thanks to Hammer (Elmar) and Beast Killer (Otto), things went pretty smoothly. Oh, and a magic nuke named Theobald.

Grabbed the wrong treasure room (got the Energy Drop). Whoops~!

Chapter 19 - 8/152

Shoved HP/Def tonics into the usual suspects. Promoted Elmar, and fed him an Arms Scroll so that he'd be able to wield Beast Killers.

Took an extra turn to level Niles. Otherwise, this was a pretty straightforward charge of Nora (up towards Kaden), Elmar (to the north), and Kenshi (starting area, picked off a couple of foxes).

Chapter 20 - 4/156

Nora got a Speed tonic and Kenshi got HP/Str/Spd/Def. Nora's was so that she'd double Fuga even after Seal Speed, Kenshi's was so that he could bait stuff. Promoted Mitsuru and Otto.

Promoted Mitsuru was able to ferry Niles to a Seal Speed Onmyoji, who I captured (with C tomes and E staves, that guy totally promoted from Diviner; also, credit to Theobald for donating Heartseeker). Elmar caught a breeze, which put Nora in range of Fuga on turn 3. She then proc'd Lethality, which meant that everyone survived. I think a grand total of four units bit the dust on this map.

EDIT: I made a minor boo-boo, but no one caught it. :P:

Paralogue 2 - 7

With a newly-recruited Saburo (who wanted a lot of cabbage. . .maybe he wants to make cabbage cookies?), I was able to clear out a lot of stuff. Fed Jin some much-needed experience off of the staffbots.

Paralogue 22 - 10

Doing this one in ten turns is pretty rough. Cooked up some Rice Bread, so Nora wouldn't die on the final General wave.

Nora went to the left, while Niles cleared out the Sorcerers/Adventurers to the right. Once the two-range was gone, Niles hoofed it over to the left, standing on a stairwell for a turn to block the 'zerker. Everyone else cleared out the right. On turn 10, I had Nora arm an Armorslayer, and kill an Adventurer she baited. She was then able to kill the final three Generals on EP. Meanwhile, Saburo took a hit to the face to kill off a General on the right that I forgot about. Snagged all the treasure.

Rally Defense OP.

Invasion 1 - 4

Uh, free Goddess Icon? Mitsuru hit C bows.

Invasion 2 - 10

Nora to Nohr Noble, because I'll need Dragonic Hex in a bit. Elmar gets a Speed Tonic, so he can double something.

I waited for the reinforcements, since I could use every little bit of experience that I could. Elmar ORKO'd the Mechanist on turn 1, and the Great Knights suicided into him shortly afterwards. Nora ripped up the south with Grim Yato, with Kenshi and Masahiko taking some of the heat. Niles picked off the fliers, and Saburo got some healing time in.

Thanks to the Master Seal, Jin can finally promote, at level 17. I NEED those pair-up stats! Since Nora got Dragonic Hex, I turned her back into a Master Ninja.

Chapter 21 - 4/160

Cooked up a pot of chili for easier KOing (even if it wasn't totally necessary).

Deployed Nora and Elmar. Elmar flew Nora over the rubble on turn 1, then Nora hoofed it up to the top on her own.

Chapter 22 - 6/166

I'm not patient enough to reset until I hit Hana (at something like 67%) on EP. Hence the extra turn.

New day, new post~!

Chapter 23 - 7/173

Cooked up some super-de-duper rice bread for durability's sake. Nora got HP/Def tonics.

Nora flew over the gap on Mitsuru, then solo'd the top and beat up Takumi.

Everyone else kited the giant army to the west, with Niles getting some experience off of it.

Chapter 24 - 6/179

Speed food on everyone, I'm gonna need it. Kenshi got HP/Str/Spd/Def tonics so he'd survive.

Nora hitched a ride on Mitsuru, while Niles was paired with Elmar. Nora flew to the boss area on turn 2, murdered Azama, then killed Hinoka, THEN the other boss, then seized. Couldn't get close enough with Niles, or this would've been a turn faster. Everyone else beat up the Kinshi Knights that got too close.

Chapter 25 - 3/182

This time it was chili~!

Managed to bait the units on the left, which Niles more-or-less murdered on his own. . .before Nora did Ryoma in for good. This chapter was the reason why I got Dragonic Hex - it allowed me to continuously double with the Iron Shuriken, and dropped Ryoma's everything.

Chapter 25 - 3/181

Man, that's genius. There's a low chance I'll be able to get Ryoma down that fast. though I plan to go Paladin so it might not be so bad.

I'm so far behind, I'm still on Chapter 12 and struggling to get through things. It's not easy when everything dies in two fights cept Avatar :P

I'll update again once I'm past ch 12. I plan to promote Mitsuru at 17 (she's 15 at the beginning of chapter 12, Hope to have her up by the end of the chapter, if not I'll do Mozu's paralouge.

The glass cannon problems go away approximately never. . .so don't worry about taking a million turns, the enemies will probably outscale your guys anyway.

Chapter 26 - 25/207

Fed everyone gratin, for Speed/Defense.

I had to take this chapter slowly, because the only person who could weather more than three hits was Nora. Worked through the initial room, healed people, then went towards the Faceless, who I'd rather deal with than even MORE status staves. Cleared those guys out, healed up, then went south towards Hans. Hans died to Grim Yato, and it took quite a bit to clear out everything, and do some healing. Nora murdered Iago with great prejudice, but no one was close enough to seize. I made off with the Seraph Robe and money before leaving. I WILL need that money!

Chapter 27 - 5/212

Deployed: Nora, Elmar.

Food: Chili.

Fed Nora the Seraph Robe, Speedwings, and Dracoshield. Hitched a ride on Elmar, stopping only to murder the soldiers and merchant. Garon went down to Shadow Yato (and no I'm not going to reset until I get enough Dragon Fangs to shave a turn, that's lame).

Endgame - 3/215

Fed Nora stat boosters until she maxed things out (which won't be reflected anywhere, since the game doesn't let me save). Shoved HP/Str/Spd/Def tonics down her throat, too. Deployed Nora, Niles, Elmar, and Otto.

Turn 1: Nora (with Elmar) runs within range of the Oni Chieftains, Niles (with Otto) stays just out of range.

EP 1: Oni Chieftains suicide.

Turn 2: Niles runs his full movement and uses Rescue on Nora (thus justifying the extra turn I took way back in Chapter 9). Nora runs past the Freeze maid and manages to OHKO the Silver Shuriken Ninja (THIS IS IMPORTANT).

EP 2: Niles and Otto bait some things and die, Nora manages to get through mostly everything unscathed (took 9 HP damage, IIRC).

Turn 3: Nora runs next to Takumi and uses Shadow Yato, but doesn't secure the kill. Takumi's shot is blocked by Dual Guard. Nora's Dragonic Hex goes off, too.

EP 3: Takumi's "screw you" attack goes off, and Takumi manages to hit. Thanks to Dragonic Hex, the Dracoshields, and every last tonic, Nora survives with 1 HP. She then counterkills Takumi to end the run. Likewise, if the Silver Shuriken Ninja hit, I would've taken damage, and Nora would've died.

Need to wrap up the credits (and check my turn counts), then I'll post final stats and thoughts in the next post. . .'cause it's going to be long.

Thoughts:

Nora - MVP, naturally. By going Ninja, she was able to donate movement on pair-up, had access to shuriken (which are the best weapon type IMO), and could whittle down enemy's stats and health should she fail to connect. Her dip into Nohr Noble was so that she'd be able to debuff further with Dragonic Hex.

Niles - Quite squishy, but very usable thanks to the Shining Bow. He needs some accuracy help. . .but lucky for me, Heal staves don't miss.

Mitsuru - Glassy as hell, and lost quite a bit of steam when I couldn't level him. Still, Kinshi Knight is a great pair-up fodder, and he did that part just fine.

Masahiko - Seal Defense is amazing, and Rend Heaven makes it all the nicer. Thanks to Javelin access, he was able to function like Nora. . .by chucking a Javelin at some unsuspecting chump.

Jin - Wasn't tanky enough for full Lunge strategies, but managed to use it a couple of times (like in Nina's Paralogue, to keep the escaping Adventurers tied down). Afterwards, he became pair-up fodder.

Kenshi - Thanks to Potent Potion, I was able to jack his stats pretty high with tonics. His other skill allowed him to heal up with an item before attacking. . .and Concoctions more-or-less counted as a full heal. Just tanky enough to take hits, and just fast enough to not be doubled. All-in-all, impressive.

Elmar - I drafted him because he flies and because Rally Defense is amazing. . .and he did both of those well. Flying through Chapter 19 made it much less of a headache, and when he wasn't able to be in combat, Rally Defense kept people alive.

Otto - I have no idea how I wound up with the same unit as MagicIsOP, but even if I'd gone the Knight route, not much would've changed. Great Knights give extra defense and movement, and that's why he was drafted. He was Niles' partner for the longest time.

Theobald - Heartseeker secured some otherwise iffy kills. He was able to blast things safely, and early-on, was also able to tank a hit or two. Nosferatu would've been wasted on him, IMO, because he didn't have the durability to justify its cost.

Saburo - Seal Speed was absolutely amazing, and having a second healer made this run a lot less headache-inducing. He wound up doing more raw damage than his BFF Theobald. I have no idea what he did with all that cabbage, though. Managed to make Rally Magic useful in Chapter 26, which is why I was able to finish the draft.

OVERALL: My team was made of relative glass, but they managed to hold it together. Niles was insanely Strength-blessed, and I'm really glad I opted for a Strength boon.

Invasion 1: 6
Got two much needed levels on Mitsuru and Notsuru. Niles is close. Still lakcing healers unfortunatly, but hey. Also, the bonus Dragon Veins made it possible to make a mess Hall, which will be instrumental in the next chapter.
Chapter 11: 13/87
This chapter kicked the crap out of me. It took a lot of doing to get things perfect. I was able to live thanks to the blessing of anna, the levels earned from the invasion, and NILES ACTUALLY NOT MISSING HIS CAPTURES, I was able to beat this chapter and FINALLY pick up a healer (and a miracle Diviner :P) It all came together when, in one glorious stampede, I rushed the Shrine Maiden, Mizuki barly living being doubled and dual attacked, and Mitsuru getting the kill thanks to dual strike with only 1 point of damage to spare. I might not have done optimal, but im happy with how things turned out.NEW MEMBERS: Suzuran The shrine maiden and Kento the Miracle Diviner!
Chapter 12: 14/101
Man, this run is making me really appriciate regular units. Captured Hiroyuki the Wonder Samurai, aka the one who might be able to not get doubled.
The way I beat this chapter was to have Niles take care of Saizo and Kaguro (as well as their ninja bodyguards) before destroying their pot, and then slowly breaking the pots to move towards ryoma. Not using the dragon vein prevented the ninjas on the side from ganging up on me. Skipped the chests cause I needed Niles pair up stats. Finally, Mitsuru lived with just enough health to not be killed by Ryoma, and Kento got the kill and his first level to boot. Promoted Mitsurs at level 16 because I want to get her to paladin asap and I'm not doing that before draconic hex.

Wow its been almost a month since ive had any progress. I'm really sorry, I've been kinda swamped with stuff, its near the end of the year after all. I have some progress to report though.

Chapter 13: 21/122

So for this chapter I ended up taking the left path down, cause takumi wrecked my crap whenever I went down right first. From there, it was a slow crawl. Mitsuru took out Orochi, Niles took out Scarlet and Reina (naturally, bows op) and Kento took out takumi with some help from Mitsuru and Niles. btw did you guys know that reinforcements spawn on this map on turn 19? Two wyverns in the top left and two cavs in the bottom right.

I'll edit this post to include a few more chapters and stats later, I just wanted it out there that I was still playing, just took a break cause FE can be stressful and I didn't need that over the past month lol

again, really sorry about my absence.

Edit: Chapter 14: 21/143

Took it slow again. made the freeze maiden waste all her uses by planting hiro within range as soon as I could. Niles took out the kinshi knight/peg reinforcements, while Mizuki and niles took out the hand axe oni. didn't get the top chest, but oh well. Promoted Niles to Adventurer cause he hit level 20, and i got a few decent levels on hiro. Suzuran is still my weakest unit. Will update my stats after the next chapter I complete.
