Pokemon Sun and Moon General Discussion: Official Site updated to include every new 'mon

I love both Fire Cat and Grass Owl, but I'm going with Fire Cat because I can't say no to cats. I've never liked clowns, so the Clown Seal gets an automatic "meh" from me. The names are all dumb as hell, though.

I've been Team Moon since the games were announced because I've always loved the moon. There's a practically 100% chance my husband will go Sun because he likes to complete the Pokédex so he usually goes the opposite of me, plus I can definitely see him digging that badass lion legendary. The Moon legendary looks rather creepy and almost Lovecraftian to me, so I rather like that a lot.

There's a part of me that wishes I could cut of news from here and go into the games blind, but sadly that's not an option. :P Ah well, just a little over 6 months.

I don't get what you mean here? What does having a lisp have to do with Pokemon?

I like lions way more than bats, even though I think both of these legendaries are boring and unoriginal as heck, and I like the sun more than the moon (I'm a bright sunshiny type person, ya know), so I'm still picking Sun for now...if I'm not repeatedly disappointed down the line.

Sun is a problem word for people with lisps. If I'm not concentrating I'll say it as "thun". I've had speech therapy so it doesn't happen often but Moon is certainly more convenient.

Oh, that. I actually have a lisp myself, but that's not stopping me. :P Though it's not a heavy lisp, more of a slight one. I can say a proper S sound, but I have to force myself to. Otherwise, it sounds like I can't choose between s or th. But if your lisp bothers you that much, I still understand.

I was going to make a new thread but then saw this one. I dunno how I missed it for so long.

I'm pretty excited for these! I'll probably end up getting Sun first because I like the mascot more than Moon's. Honestly I'm kinda disappointed in Moon's mascot, I was hoping for an awesome wolf. Not saying the bat is bad, I was just hoping for a wolf.

As for the starters, I dunno which one I'll pick. I like them all, really. I'm kinda getting an Oshawott vibe from Popplio, so that's cool.

*Ahem* To sum up this trailer. Rowlet is best starter, Hawaii is cool setting and legendaries are a Sun Lion and Moon Wyvern thing. Also the in-game models are what I've wanted in X and Y. I am excited and hopefully this will turn out waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Gen 6

Just wanna say that I called the November 18 release date (not that "Friday before Black Friday" was that hard for anyone to guess). Also still not sure which version to get, or which starter to get. Seeing their evolutions will probably help me pick a starter, but choosing a version will be a bit harder since the Lion Legendary and the Bat Legendary both look equally cool.

I think I'll choose Sun and Rowlet as a starter Pokemon. I did noticed that they change the overview of the player walking with using the original bigger models instead of using the chibi models that was used in the Generation 6 games that looks way cooler. And plus, I really like the Sun Legendary Pokemon design that looks awesome.

The art is mostly from deviantart artists, I tried reverse searching, but only got the site not the artists. And I mostly got the images from KYM. They should have a source there. I'll look better.

Okay, the cuteness is infectious. It's going to evolve into something more on the "awesome" side, though; it has a grass bowtie, so maybe it's final form will be a full-grown owl that looks like it's got a cloak and vest?

According to Bulbapedia (which in turn got its information from a Pokémon website, I'm sure), Rowlet can perform powerful kicks. I guess that could mean we'll be seeing some fighting type moves on it as well, and that it'll have a higher attack than special attack.
