Please note that Z-Parting Shot and Z-Memento will not be usable in Battle Spot until Season 2 starts on January 17th.

I just wanna transfer my Gardevoir, Jynx and Fissue+Self Destructing Snorlax already.

Please spoiler that. Its waaaaaay too much to scroll through.

Also, thats the launch of the original Pokebank. Not the compatability with Sun and Moon. It says February 2014, not 2017.

I've forgot. Serebii newsed the date awhile ago. Europe is getting it a day earlier than us.

Those dates still have the wrong year.

Serebii still doesn't know the date, as shown by the bottom version update. It just says January 2017th...

The battle tree is so much hax past battle #20... I encountered so many teams with double team/minimize, coupled with thunder wave and confusion... Most of the time my team did nothing :/. I died to one where the damn electivre got lucky with paralyzis and severely weakened my team... enough for moxie pinsir to wipe me...

Also I think they have an easter egg to pokemon conquest. I encountered a collector named nobunaga :V and he was also the one that wiped me...

Edit: Wonder trading is fantastic... I just got a 5IV female snorunt through it! It seems like it is not mostly Abras/Cubones anymore.

#TeamLitten #TeamMoon

I don't particularly like the other two starters, but at least one has to be good enough, I assume. Still a far-fetch from Charmander, though.

Due to my pace of progression in Fire Emblem, I might just start Pokemon Moon and finishing Fates when they come out on the 20th of May in Europe.

Well, turns out my predictions were about as wrong as they could be.

Gone with Pokemon Sun due to Vulpix exclusive. Chose Rowlet as the starter because final evolutions are the way they are. Finished Fates way before actually getting into Sun.

In my attempts at getting a rough skin Gabite, i ended up dgetting a shiny Castform...

It is hasty, and decent Sp. Def, with Very Good (~28) Spe IV and the rest are Best... Might do something with it, but then again... nah.

I've found a Shiny Golbat at full odds the other day at the Snowy Alps. =P

Yay! A Pink Crobat. ^^

@Subpyro

Pokemon Sun in general has the better exclusives and UB's. But...Pokemon Moon has more adorable Pokemon.

Actually I think Pokemon moon has the better competitive line up with Celesteela, Pheromosa, and Oranguru (doubles).

Lol it just happened again... I got a shiny Trapinch instead of a rough skin gabite... they are rarer than shineys lol. I know that isn't true. shame its a naive natured one... I really like Flygon's shiny

Soooo I broke the third chain of trapinch i had going. I went to wonder trade and just got a shiny popolio with 6IV's and a modest nature :o... Probably hacked, but it has no egg moves or anything.

Fuck it got my rough Skin Gible through wonder trade

Spoiler

So, I finally got Moon last week, been playing pretty slowly and raising a lot for the sake of it.

Just trounced Hau with a freshly caught Mudbray. Sure, he had Torracat as a starter, but it's hilarious that it could be that easy. And so, should I know if anything on the second island is particularly troubling?

The first and third totems fights tend to give people trouble.

I don't even mind getting it on the 31st or something. I just want a gosh darn release date or something.

Although if we can't transfer our BP earned in Gen 6's Bank to Gen 7's, I might be a little angry.

Oooooh Have you guys tried the shiny breeding method found in Sun and Moon?

This explains it really well

It works really well. I tried it to get a shiny Dewpider and I managed one with all the traits i wanted :D. I know some of you are avid shiny hunters, this will significantly reduce the time you need.

I've heard about it before, but I'd rather just stick to Masuda Method. It looks really complex and easy to mess up.

It looks a lot more complicated in writing, but if you just follow the steps, getting a shiny pokemon of your choice is really easy.

Learning this is really useful too, because it turns out that the IV's the pokemon inherits are set too, as well as abilities and gender

Eh, maybe once I start activly shiny hunting, but for now I just want to get ready for VGC and generally doing competitive.

Speaking of which, the Destiny Knot search has turned out fruitless. TENS OF HOURS have been spent searching for one. I'll put a few more weeks into it, but hopefully Bank will negate the need to do so.

What do you mean? You can buy one in the Battle Royal shop for 48 BP... Alternatively i can give you one, for any pokemon with a HA (like a toxapex or Manemite or something neat-o)

Grinding for BP without competitive Mons is VERY tough. Not to mention I need 2 of them, possibly 4 since my friend needs them too.

I have some HA stuff, like Vulpix and Gible. Give me time and I could get you a list.

Why would you need two?

Breed 4iv -> Thing

Breed another 4iv with the other 4iv where as the child can have perfect 6ivs if I'm lucky.

6iv Dittos aren't easily availible, so this is the best I can do.

You only need one. 1 Destiny Knot guarantees 5 IVs are passed down from the parent. The second Destiny knot does nothing. You are better off having the second parent hold an everstone to pass down natures, or a power item to guarantee a specific IV gets passed down (useful when building pokemon from things that only have 1 or 2 IVs perfect)

Edit: Also if you are fine scowering the net for pokemon, 6IV dittos are sometimes given away by gamefaqs people, or reddit users, and other pokemon websites.
