It doesn't need to be on a console, the graphics of the 3DS games are just fine, wasting money and resources on anything better would only be more financially dangerous and possibly detract from the core game itself. I can't think of anything substantive that could really be done with a console fire emblem that can't be done on a handheld, especially these days. They'd have to sell me on a really crazy-awesome gimmick that a handheld isn't powerful enough to pull off for me to really get behind the shift back over. If they were to put FE on consoles again, though, it'd either have to be a spinoff or the most massive Fire Emblem game that has ever existed (Actually... I'd really like to see that).
