Hi o/

I'm a newbie spriter, venturing into the realm of full customs, and I was wondering whether anybody has a guide or a link to a guide for FE-style motion blurs? I'm having a lot of trouble with them; I've attempted several, but they just don't seem to turn out like how the FE ones do. Any tips?

While I don't have a guide or a link, I can make one over the course of the day:

(... i like intsys' journeyman blur frame more, mine there is full of bleh.)

other than that no, no tips, just practice

FE has an awkward balance of smooth and choppy for its look so be sure to keep that in mind-- sometimes you want to break up a long blur into multiple frames, other times you want to force that blur to only be one frame.

This belongs in the spriter's resource topic now. Great tutorial Eliwan! It's simple and concise and addresses something a lot of people seem to have problems with.
