Their names were Specta, Clarinets, Blitz, Smug, Power, Joestar, Austin, Marth, Flygon, Peri, Doga, and Blitz. Around them was a large stage and some empty seats. A short-haired woman stood at the centre. "Welcome!" said the lady. "Where are we?" yelled Clarinets. "Probably somewhere lame," remarked Smug. "You're in the Land of Competitions! Have a little fun! My name is Ms. Bunch, and I'll be your host tonight! Give our lucky competitors a roaring round of applause!" said the woman. The room around the twelve began to fill with virtual people, and the screen on the center stage lit up. On the screen were a list of names. Half of them were on Team Spark; the others were on Team Leaf. "Those labeled A will be on Team Spark, and those with a B will be on Team Leaf. You'll be competiting in fun trivia games, but beware, the losing team will have to vote out a player," stated Ms. Bunch. "What's today's topic?" asked Blitz. "Today's topic? Literature," smiled Ms. Bunch. Today is Day 1! Today's challenge is Lit it on Me! There will be eleven questions and we will be playing first to six. Each question is worth one, and the first player to answer correctly in-topic will win a point for their team. Q1: In what year was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone published? After the fifth win, the screen turned gold. "Does this mean we won?!" cheered Joestar. "We did it!" they all yelled. Team Leaf was not as amused by Team Spark's victory. "Hey! How did they win so easily?" asked Austin. "Team Leaf didn't answer at all," said Ms. Bunch. "Not my fault..." said Power: "Team Leaf, it's time for you to send in your votes," chimed in Ms. Bunch. Six voting booths descended from the ceiling for Team Leaf. "Wait, one of us is going home?" asked Clarinets. "How is that fair?" "Just the name of the game," remarked Ms. Bunch. It is now Night 1. Team Leaf, send in your vote to me through your portal eliminate a team member. Remember, however, that if you do not send in a vote, you automatically vote for yourself.
