Kamui vs Corrin

I feel Kamui suits them better and sounds nicer. Every time I see "Corrin" it makes me think of corned beef hash for some reason. And that's not very regal.

I like Kamui better partly because i've been hearing it longer, and has a nicer spoken ring to it, although i can use Corrin too when discussing. I haven't actually used the name in file tho

I prefer Kamui, simply because MU is originally Hoshidan after all, and a Japanese name makes more sense than an English name especially when their biological family all have Japanese/Hoshidan names.

Eh, either's fine with me. I tend to default to Kamui though, so I'll go with that.

I did Corrin for Norh, Kamui for Hoshido. Doing Corrin again for Revelations.

Kamui makes sense for Hoshido, since it is clearly a more japanese name, and Corrin makes sense for Nohr since it is European (want to say Scottish specifically, but could be wrong). But to be completely honest, I don't use the name, I always name him after my past characters from other games since I always recreate them in just about every game, Nikola being my current name.

I was surprised when I found out it was a real name when I was using a randomizer for uncommon names that started with C for some kids I couldn't think of names for in the sims 2

I don't really have a strong preference. Leaning towards Kamui, because changing the name breaks the "Kanna Kamuy" etymology.

I'm not a big fan of either name, really. I use Corrin when discussing the character because I think it's more likely that people will know that name. An early adapter is more likely to know the NA name then a new player is to know the Japanese one. So far Corrin / Kamui has become Chisuzu, Katryn and Sarena in my games.

I rarely use the default name but I think Corrin fits better.

I don't really like either name, to be honest. But Corrin is a little better, imo. It just sounds better to me.

Whenever I play a game where the character's name is customizable, it always gets changed so it doesn't really matter to me that much, but I like Kamui more. Then again, I prefer most of the Japanese names anyways.
