I wanna get in on this Fate/ in Fates action.

Rider (King of Conquerors)

Nohrian. With a thundering warcry this warrior crushes all who would hinder his dreams of conquest under a mighty chariot gifted by the gods themselves.

Weapons: A-Swords, B-Axes (doesn't canonically use axes, but they fit better than S rank swords)

Skills:

Lv1 (Conqueror) - This unit takes no bonus damage.

Lv10 (Canto) - Leftover MOV can be used after performing an action.

Lv25 (Noble Charge) - This unit and allies within 2 spaces gain leftover MOV as damage dealt.

Lv35 (Dreamchaser) - HP/2 % chance of adjacent allies gaining +(MOV/2) to all stats at the beginning of either turn (until end of turn).

Stats: (not quite motivated enough to put together complete stats right now)

HP: 70 Str+ Mag- Skl- Spd= Lck= Def+ Res= MOV: 8 Ddg+10 Mounted, Beast, Mechanical (Golem/Puppet)

Now I really wish we had a chariot class in the game. Maybe Lance/Bow?

Anywho, how about a Fate/Zero!Berserker?

Dark Berserkerarmour.pngfefates-icon-sword.png

A maddened warrior that leaves a swathe of destruction on his way to meet a chosen foe.

fe15skill_54.pngMad Enhancement:Strength/Speed +2, Skill -2

fe15skill_10.pngCursed Blade: +4 Damage but lose 10% health after combat.

fe15skill_120.pngWeapon Mastery: Can equip any D rank or lower Axe, Lance, Bow or Hidden Weapon.

fe15skill_151.pngRelentless: After combat, Strength/Speed +1 and Skill -1. Stat changes remain until this unit misses an attack.

There isn't really a way to translate "uses up way too much mana" so I thought losing health was the best way to convey his burst damage play style.

Stats are probably similar to classic Berserker but with higher endurance to compensate the Armored trait.

I am so GAR for Berserker,

Shit it's okay Zero!Berserker is like the coolest Berserker.

Instead of doing Iri I did my favorite Servant. I need to think of some more things for her.

Golden Archer fefates-icon-bow.pngfefates-icon-sword.png

The all powerful King of Heroes who commands an infinite treasury.

fe15skill_148.pngCollector: Luck x0.50 chance of getting an advanced weapon after battle.

fe15skill_169.pngDivinity: Reduces crit damage by a margin. (I'd say 10% unless that's too much? Otherwise reduce crit chance.)

fe15skill_75.pngKingly Pride: If the user has a level advantage over the enemy, adds +10 to damage given.

fe15skill_157.pngEnkidu: Upon using this skill, next attack reduces Mov by 1 and a random stat by 2. Lasts for a turn.

I tried. It's hard making him not OP skill wise.

I actually created a similar class to this in earlier pages of this thread. Also, Sous chef is lower than Chef.

Also, Sous chef is lower than Chef.

Sous chefs rank higher than normal chefs - sure, not the highest ranking, but catchier than "head chef" or "executive chef".

I thought the lowest one's are called cooks not chefs.

"Chef" is a French loanword that means a person who cooks anyway.

Tfw you take the time to design original skill icons and your concept gets noticed by one person.

You made that post like 3 months ago, dude. lol

But here, I'll acknowledge your hard work. Cool icons!

That sounds totally convincing.

It's a bit complicated. It's a story set in a medieval time with warring kingdoms and the like and there is a godlike dragon that's evil for some reason and all that good stuff. I'm currently working on removing any similarities to Manaketes and Fire Emblem storytelling.

Odin Dark's dream class! I try to make the skills hilarious and a little ridiculous to use, so that people hopefully will always enjoy using them.

[spoiler=Master of Darkness]

<Class Bonus>

Tiles that are traveled through and tiles adjacent to them are shrouded in Odin's Abysmal Cloak of Mysteries for the rest of the battle. Controllable fog of war basically!

<Tome S>

<Stats H45 S20 M40 S30 S35 L25 D25 R25 M6>

<Guard Mag4 Skl4>

<Darkness Piercing Eyes>

Odin's eyes allows him to see through the darkness of fog of war, the range that he can see is determined by his movement range. If he can move to a tile this turn, he can see that tile!

<Harassing Awakening>

Inspired by his best bud's perseverance, enemies of the opposite sex standing on a fog of war tile within two tiles of Odin will witness the most gut wrenching horror performance ever. Each enemy will receive one random nerf. Enemies can receive more than one nerf if they stay near Odin longer. If an enemy has already received a nerf, assigning the same nerf will not do anything; the same nerf can only be reapplied only when it has ended. This rule does not apply to stat debuffs since it is not based on turns.

Nerfs:

1. Enemies shudder uncontrollably with terror. All stats -5, debuff cannot go under -5, and stats recovering 1 per turn.

2. Enemies silently scream for three turns. Unequips weapon and cannot attack, use staves, items, rally, or dance.

3. Enemies paralyze with fear for three turns. Cannot move.

4. Enemies go mad for three turns. Goes berserk and attacks anyone in range.

5. Enemies' mental damage corrupts the body as well. Health -2 per turn for five turns.

<Corrupting Fate>

Inspired by his co-retainer's revolutionary ideas, castrating (killing) enemies of the same sex will give Odin a pair of Spheals of Darkness, allowing other people to class change and follow Odin’s path as Masters of Darkness. The Spheals can also be sold for 500G each. If Harassing Awakening is equipped, it also applies to enemies of the same sex.

<The Future Heir of a Past Fate>

The disturbance in reality pours from the Outrealm through Dragon's Gate. Fell Blood reacts violently with Exalt Blood in Odin, causing him to whip out huge amount of tentacles, allowing him to spread despair farther. Abysmal Cloak of Mysteries (fog of war) and Harassing Awakening spread up to four tiles from Odin.

My other ideas are based off of some anime stereotypes. I try not to make the skills overpowered, so I added in as much drawbacks as possible if it fits with the theme.

[spoiler=Tsundere]

<Class Bonus>

Use of critical insults gives them a hit, avo, and crt bonus of +15, but their fragility also gives them cev -50.

<Tome A><Dagger A><Bow A>

<Stats H35 S35 M35 S35 S30 L20 D25 R25 M8 Mounted Flying Beast>

<Guard Spd3 Skl3 Mov1>

<Do not touch me!>

Tsunderes are repulsed by filth. If an enemy would land a hit, they have Spd% chance of dodging the attack. Tsundere is little less squeamish about beating someone up with a weapon, so if they would land a hit, they have Spd/2% chance of actually not hitting instead.

<EWWW!!! GROSS!!!>

Your tsun-tsun warrior bitch slaps the enemy across time and space in vengeance. Tsundere regretted the further contact, and is so disgusted that Tsundere spends some time cleaning up. If an enemy hits and deals damage, they receive half of the damage, and Tsundere receive an all stat debuff of -1. The debuff can go down to -3 if enemies pile her. Stats recover by 1 per turn. Basically like Counter, but can activate in either player's or enemy's turn.

<I only paired up because you insisted!>

Tsun-tsun turns into dere-dere after a while, perfect for patient masochists. When in guard stance, partner receives initial all stat debuff of -5. Stats recover by one every turn, and then increase by one up to a buff of +5. Separating resets the buffs and debuffs.

<You stupid pervert suck so much like a lowlife idiot!>

The constant bullying and barrage of insults hurts the enemy's esteem and social standing. While in combat with an enemy, enemy skill activation rate -10%, and they do not fight in a stance. Tsundere receives a -10 Lck debuff in karma. Debuff will not go under -10 and recovers by 1 per turn.

[spoiler=Kuudere]

<Class Bonus>

There is nothing special or noteworthy.

<Tome S><Staff B>

<Stats H50 S25 M35 S25 S30 L25 D30 R30 M6>

<Guard Str1 Mag1 Skl1 Spd1 Def1 Res1 Mov1>

<Poke Her Face>

Kuudere does not show any facial change even when enemies poked her face. This troubles the enemy and causes them to doubt their combat skills. In combat, weapon triangle effects are ignored.

<Cool>

Kuudere is so calm and cool headed, it helps enemies too. Therefore Kuudere and enemies can spam silver weapons when fighting each other. In combat, stat modifications are ignored, e.g.: Kuudere does not benefit from rallies (except movement), enemies do not suffer from debuffs while fighting Kuudere, etc.

<Boring>

Excitement is few and far between. Skills and critical activation chances are reduced by 50%.

<ZZZ>

Kuudere can cause enemies to fall into deep sleep from sheer boredom. Enemy units wait for five turns after combat. Enemy units will wake up if attacked. Skill has Lck/2% chance of activation after combat.

[spoiler=Yandere]

<Class Bonus>

This is the perfect support waifu/husbando with minor drawbacks. Their mask of perfection gives them hit and crt +20. When separating from any allied stance, all stats of ex-partner(s) is debuffed by -10 for the rest of the battle due to absolute terror, health is lowered to 1 due to explosion of violence, and Yandere goes berserk. When Yandere is berserk, all stats gain +10. Yandere's berserk lasts the whole battle. When Yandere goes berserk on player’s turn, it will wait so it gives players an opportunity to evacuate the area. Yandere is not very flexible so she should either support a unit or have her stay away from your main army right from the beginning.

<Axe S>

<Stats H70 S40 M15 S35 S35 L30 D35 R35 M6>

<Guard Def3 Res3 Mov1>

<Jealousy>

Enemies who are foolish enough to flaunt their stances in front of a lonely Yandere will suffer a terrible fate, as well as making Yandere reckless with paranoid anger. If Yandere is alone in combat against enemies in a stance, damage is tripled while avo and cev -10.

<Sacrifice>

Yandere loves their partner(s) so much that Yandere takes damage in their place. Supporting Yanderes will take all damage the lead unit would have taken (Def+Res)% of the time.

<Butchered>

Yandere is pissed! If the enemy touches the lead unit, enemy's health is halved. Damage is rounded up, so it can kill enemy units if their health is 1.

<Absolute Terror>

Most people would find hell comforting if this crazy person is around. If lead unit is killed, all units within four tiles are indiscriminately slaughtered by Yandere, and Yandere commits seppuku. Death ran away so fast from the battlefield, that Yandere has no choice but to return and manifest itself as a terrifying spirit indescribable with words. Since death ran away, other dead units also return, but as terrifying spirits due to Yandere’s corruption.

[spoiler=Yandere's Spirit(1)]

<Class Bonus>

Yandere’s spirit is terrifying. Hit, avo, crt, and cev +20. Yandere’s Spirit will attack anything that is not a spirit. If there are no attackable units within range, it will wander by one tile in a random direction. Which skills the spirit will have depends on Yandere’s level when she suicides. Lvl 5 and above will have Ethereal, Lvl 10 and above will have Congregate, Lvl 25 and above will have Countdown, and Lvl 35 and above will have Plague.

<Axe S>

<Stats H70 S40 M15 S35 S35 L30 D35 R35 M6>

<Ethereal>

Yandere is a ghost now, so there is nothing stopping her from reaching her victim. Movement costs are reduced to one. Spirits can also move on terrain normally only accessible by fliers.

<Congregate>

Yandere’s possessive obsession is still strong. If there are spirits within two tiles, this spirit will move towards the closest spirit. If a Spirit(1) moves into the same spot as another Spirit(1), it will become one unit. The new Spirit will become Spirit(2) and have all stats +1 compared with Spirit(1), and will wander by two tiles in a random direction if there are no other nearby spirits or enemy units. If Spirit(X) move into Spirit(Y), then the new Spirit will be Spirit(X+Y), and the stat buff will be +(X+Y-1), and the number of tiles it wanders will be (X+Y) up to a maximum of six.

<Countdown>

Yandere will hunt people down. Escaping the battle will not help. Any unit that battles with spirits will be marked and die in seven turns, unless you win the map within those turns.

<Plague>

Fear and terror breed and multiply. Units that die from spirits in combat will become spirits. Units that die from Countdown will also come back. Units that are marked by Countdown dying from other causes will too. Units in a guard stance will die together and form Spirit(2) even if one of them is not marked.

[spoiler=Kamidere]

<Class Bonus>

Anna only. Hit, avo, crt, cev, +100. Anna can travel all traversable terrain. Movement costs are reduced to one. Only the best offerings are worthy to be in Anna’s divine hands, so she can only equip +7 or S rank weapons and use staves that have max durability (i.e. she can only use a brand new Spring Festal once before trading it to another unit). She can use stones as normal since you cannot improve them and they do not degrade.

<Sword S><Tome S> <Lance S><Dagger S><Axe S><Bow S><Staff S><Stone S>

<Stat H99 S99 M99 S99 S99 L99 D99 R99 M99>

<Guard H99 S99 M99 S99 S99 L99 D99 R99 M99>

<Fame, Power, and Wealth>

The three go hand in hand. By sacrificing a +7 A rank weapon, holy Anna will bless your favored army with abundant items, experience, and gold for this crucial battle. Every time the unit is done with its turn, fan boys and fan girls will send the unit a random non-DLC item that cannot be infinitely purchased from shops. Every time a unit does an action that gains experience, that unit will level up. Every time an enemy is defeated, you get 10,000G and 99 of a random resource.

<RNG Goddess>

By sacrificing another +7 A rank weapon to Anna, her divine highness will bestow a holy buff to your army and tip the mighty scales of RNG in your favor for this battle. If a unit has at least 1% chance of hitting the enemy, they will always hit the enemy. If a unit has at least 1% chance of activating critical, they will always activate critical. If a unit has at least 1% chance of activating a skill, the skill will always activate (skills with lower activation takes precedence as usual, so a unit with lethality will always activate lethality even if there is vengeance). If the enemy has less than 100% chance of hitting you, they will never hit. If the enemy has less than 100% chance to activate critical, they never activate. If the enemy has less than 100% chance of activating a skill, the skill will never activate.

<Victory>

Is the battle getting bleak? Is a unit about to die? Is the holy crusade in Anna’s name simply not going well? Fret not, with a sacrifice of another +7 A rank weapon to the goddess of victory herself, Anna the Almighty and Great will declare you victor. You immediately win the map, all chests are opened, green enemy items will be given to you, the experience you would have earned from killing enemies will be distributed equally to all your participating units, and all fallen units return to life if playing on classic.

<Love is Free>

By offering one’s blood, flesh, soul, and love to the goddess herself through a ritual called marriage, Anna will do her thing for free! Anna does not nitpick over silly things such as gender, so you can even ship Anna X Anna for the ultimate yuri, incest, masturbation action. As long as Anna’s spouse is supporting Anna in guard stance, Anna will be generous enough to offer all her services for free. To top it all off, if you win a battle while Anna is in a guard stance with her spouse, Anna will get frisky; you will get another Anna goddess after the battle.

[spoiler=Not Trustworthy Rubbish aka NTR]

<Class Bonus>

If there only enemies and no allies within two tiles, hit and crt +15 and avo and cev -5. If married, adds another +5 to hit and crt and -5 to avo and cev. Many skills will mention spouse going berserk, when spouse goes berserk on your turn, they will wait; this is to give players a turn for them to evacuate the area.

<Lance S>

<Stats H70 S30 M20 S35 S25 L35 D30 R30 M6>

<Guard Str4 Mag4>

<Commando>

Who knew this unit is an exhibitionist in the closet? Every time NTR is stripped, all stats +1 after battle. Using a staff on NTR will restore her clothes, but NTR will keep the stat buffs. If supported by spouse, Spouse Lck/4% chance of separating and going berserk for three turns after battle if NTR is stripped.

<Defenseless>

NTR does not mind being doubly stabbed in a row, even enjoying being doubly stabbed at the same time. Enemies will always double, but enemies suffer -4 Str and Mag debuff after battle. Enemy supporting in the back will also attack, and will also get debuffed. This debuff can stack with itself. Enemy stats recover by 1 each turn. If supported by spouse, Spouse Lck/4% chance of separating and going berserk for three turns.

<Walla Walla Bang Bang>

NTR is really enjoying being outnumbered and outgunned. At the start of each turn, NTR heals X*10% of health, where X equals the number of enemies within two tiles of NTR. If supported by spouse, Spouse Lck/4% chance of separating and going berserk for three turns after being healed.

<Censored>
NTR has only 1 health after battle, but you only hear long bleeps and see mosaic during the fight. Tree House’s mighty censorship comes to the rescue to protect your eyes and ears from what you would have experienced. After battle, enemies doing censored things to NTR will receive a debuff of Skl -10 since they cannot hear or see. Enemies will feel guilty for doing something so terrible that their Def and Res -10. The tide of public opinion and karma turns against them and their luck is set to 0. Debuff cannot go under -10 for Skl, Def, and Res, and stats recover by 1 each turn. NTR survives the terrible encounter with 1 health. Censored activates Lck/2% of the time. If NTR’s spouse is also in the battlefield, activation becomes (NTRLck+SpouseLck)/2%. If supported by spouse, then it becomes NTRLck+SpouseLck%, and spouse Lck*2% chance of separating and going berserk for three turns. Boss units will always activate censored skill.

I made a class chart a while back, might as well detail some of the classes I made for it.

Harrier fefates-icon-lance.png - A fefates-icon-bow.png - B armour.png

A skilled soldier who shields the front line while attacking with bows and lances.

Joint promotion of Knight and Archer.

Skills:

  • Lv. 5: Sturdy Armor: -3 damage taken when attacking an enemy at range.
  • Lv. 15: Stone Wall: Select as command to rally Defense and Resistance of allies within two spaces as well as self, but lose ability to counterattack during the Enemy Phase for that turn.

Max Stats:

  • HP: 65
  • Str: 36
  • Mag: 27
  • Skl: 34
  • Spd: 25
  • Lck: 34
  • Def: 38
  • Res: 32
  • Mov: 5

Chimera Rider fefates-icon-sword.png - B fefates-icon-axe.png - A fefates-icon-bow.png - B beast.pngflying.pngdragon.png

A rider of a very unusual mount. Many weaknesses, but makes up for it with very high Str and varied attack options.

Joint promotion of Wyvern Knight and the Griffon Rider I have in my chart. The chimera in question resembles a lion-like beast with dragon wings, a ram's head growing out of the right side of its neck, and a wyvern's head growing out of the left side. The wyvern's skin also continues down across the left side of its body to its tail and left hind leg, which are similarly reptilian. Somewhat larger than the other winged mounts.

Skills:

  • Lv. 5: Trainee Crusher: If the enemy's equipped weapon's rank is lower than this unit's equipped weapon's rank, -3 damage taken.
  • Lv. 15: Aerial Predator: As a Chimera Rider, reduces incoming effective damage from other aerial units by half. (So if your Kinshi Knight comes at me with a bow, or another Chimera Rider attacks me with a Wyrmsbane, I'll only suffer double weapon might instead of triple.)

Max Stats:

  • HP: 60
  • Str: 37
  • Mag: 25
  • Skl: 30
  • Spd: 27
  • Def: 37
  • Res: 32
  • Mov: 8

Illusionist fefates-icon-tome.png - B fefates-icon-kunai.png - A

A ninja gifted in deception and illusionary magic.

Joint promotion of Ninja and the Drifter class I created.

Skills:

  • Lv. 5: Vanish step: Avo +10 against enemies that are not at full health.
  • Lv. 15: Illusion: Select as command once a battle to create two illusory copies of oneself, and shuffle the positions of the three randomly; the player is privy to which of them is real, but the opponent cannot distinguish between them until they attack one. Copies can move like a normal unit, but cannot attack the enemy, and are dissolved if attacked.

Max Stats:

  • HP: 55
  • Str: 27
  • Mag: 29
  • Skl: 32
  • Spd: 34
  • Lck: 27
  • Def: 29
  • Res: 31
  • Mov: 6

Those three and Bodyguard are my favorite ideas, though I think someone here already came up with a good Bodyguard class with the same weapons, no less, so I'll refrain from detailing one of those.

If you see any other classes on my chart you like the sound of you can feel free to springboard off them and come up with stats and skills, I don't really have those for most of them.

Is this topic reviving? Well shoot, I'm very obligated to make my class I want.

Falcon Knight: Promotes from Pegasus Knight.

Uses Swords and Lances.

Because I hate Falcon Knights using Staves honestly. They were such an offensive beast with Swords and Lances. Granted, they'd probably fail in Fates due to how unreliable dodge tanking is.

I'll make an actual sword-weilding flyer later. I'm just shitposting I guess. Any suggestions on the mount?

Here's another class line I thought of.

Fencer promotes to Spellblade and Blade Dancer. Blade Dancer is shared with the Dancer class. They would probably have similar growths to Samurai and Songstress.

Fencerfefates-icon-sword.png

Nimble swordsmen that focus more on finesse than raw power.

prescience.pngParry: During the enemy phase, Avoid +15

fe15skill_50.pngRiposte: After avoiding an attack, critical hit +25

Spellbladefefates-icon-sword.pngfefates-icon-tome.png

Swordsmen trained in the arcane arts. Able to imbue their weapons with spells.

conquest.pngSpellbind: When equipped with a physical weapon, that weapon gains the additional properties of your next tome.

galeforce.pngBlade Beam: Range 1 weapons are now range 1-2. When used at range 2, unable to do followup attacks.

Blade Dancerfefates-icon-sword.pngfefates-icon-kunai.png Naturally has the "Dance" command.

Swordsmen who fight with such grace that even their killing strikes are a like a dance.

veteran.pngBlade Rush: Select "Blade Fury" to double your amount of available attacks. After combat, Strength, Magic and Skill -1 for each attack.

special-dance.pngLast Dance:Units effected by Dance will gain +25 to skill activation rate until end of turn.

I made a class chart a while back, might as well detail some of the classes I made for it.

ome up with stats and skills, I don't really have those for most of them.

This is an interesting class chart. It's the only one I've seen with a two-tier but 3 promotion system.

I have Dark Souls on the brain again so I'm going to give another go at the Deprived class that came up earlier in this thread. Credit to cgRIPPER and Sire for the inspiration.

Chosen Undead E rank*fefates-icon-sword.pngfefates-icon-lance.pngfefates-icon-axe.pngfefates-icon-bow.pngfefates-icon-kunai.pngfefates-icon-tome.png

A cursed being that will play a big role in the preservation of the world.

*This class gains no weapon experience and instead will have its weapon rank determined by its stats.

D rank: 10 C rank: 15 B rank: 20 A rank: 25 S rank: 30

Sword, Lance and Axe weapon rank determined by strength, Bow and Dagger rank by skill and Tome rank by magic.

When creating the character, the base stats will be the same as the chosen secondary class. You can choose not to take these bases and instead start with;

Base Stats
HP STR MAG SKL SPD LCK DEF RES MOV Avoid + 10
17 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 6
Stat caps (besides HP) change per level and are the equal to Base stats + level.
Max stats (at level 40)
HP STR MAG SKL SPD LCK DEF RES MOV
60 45 45 45 45 45 45 45 6
Pair Up Stats
HP STR MAG SKL SPD LCK DEF RES MOV
0 2 2 2 2 0 0 0 0
Skills

Class Passive - Darksign: This unit won't gain stats after leveling up and returns to it's starting position after being killed. All souls are lost after reviving.

Level 1 Collector of Souls: After defeating an enemy, gain souls. The number of souls earned depends on the enemy.**

Level 10 Estus Flask: Select the "Estus" command to regain 30% HP

Level 25 Riposte: After avoiding an attack, automatically perform a critical hit.

Level 35 Rekindle Humanity: You may consume all currently held souls to temporarily raise all stats by the number of souls. This buff last until the end of the chapter or until you die.

**Souls are stackable items that can't be traded and can only be used between battles. After using a soul, this character will get +1 in a stat of your choosing. Stats can't be raised pass the stat cap in this way. This character will gain 1 soul for equal or lower level enemies, 2 for higher level enemies and 5 for defeating bosses.

Notes: I tried to keep the mechanic of souls and reviving similar to the original game but some things need to be tweaked to fit Fire Emblem. Normally souls would be used to level up, but that would be a difficult formula to think about so instead they just increase your stats. Also in the original game, it would be possible to recover loss souls but I opted to leave that part out, because otherwise you just have a free Phoenix Mode. There are other mechanics I'd like to represent through skills but these seem like the basic principles of the game.
