Rukina Posted March 20, 2016 Share Posted March 20, 2016 The dark spores were not eradicated and spread to a number of new hosts during their last major appearance in season 2. The host has to experience a significant level of negative emotions before one can become active again so the threat was basically over after MaloMyotismon, who had been spreading, growing, and harvesting the spores, was taken down.
