So, what if past FE characters has a secondary class? Fe4 Lex: Both his father and his brother are of the Baron class which is probably intended to be unplayable but its similar to the knight in appearance so Lex might have that class as a nod to his family. Azel: Its seems a bit out of character for Azel to be something other then a mage so it would be one of the magic classes. The founder of Velthomer was said to be a mage fighter so that could be an option for him. Tiltyu: Similarly Freege's founder was a Mage Knight and so is Tiltyu's son Arthur so that's a potential secondary class for her. Shanan: He supposedly grew up in Sigurds household and is best friends with Oifey. Both are horse riders so the Paladin class would suit Shanan. Fe6 Ray: He's not quite the heartwarming orphan is he? Its likely Ray would have little problem with stealing and Chad's there to give him some thieving lesson. Lugh: This nicer orphan implies several times that he is religious and with a mom like Lucius Lugh had easy access to a Monk to learn the class from. Fe7 Pent: He's a bit of a nerd so it seems in character for him just to pick another magic class to try it out for a while. Pent has shown that he is a fan of Niime so he could try to be a druid for a bit. Also, he's probably an Archsage by the time 6 comes around. Anyway, I'm unoriginally going to continue with some more lords: FE8 Erika - Lord Base, Cleric Secondary (I just feel like it would be a good fit for her.) Ephraim - Lord Base, Knight Secondary (Like his father.) FE9 Ike - Ranger Base, Mercenary, Myrmidon Secondary (Fighter works too, but it feels weird for him to not use a sword.) Elincia - Princess Crimea Base, Cleric Secondary (Nothing clever to say here.) FE10 IKE - Hero Base, Armor Sword Secondary (Ike in heavy armor with a sword... Now what could have inspired that?) Micaiah - Light Mage Base, Fire Mage/Empress Secondary (While I would love to have more dark magic in the game, this was too tempting.) Elincia - Queen Base, Cleric Secondary (Really, I got nothing.
