I'm quite a fan of magic in FE games so I just thought of making making this topic if anyone is interested.

(If there's already a similar thread I apologize in advance, mods feel free to delete!)

You can discuss about it, or answer any of these questions!

What tome/scroll do you find yourself using the most in battle?

Which tome/scroll is your favorite?

What tome/scroll animation do you like the best?

Which type of magic do you prefer to use if you had to choose one?

Thank you for reading!

Gameplay: Thani bomb.

Best rapier ever tbh

Animation: Whatever Sephiran's personal is called and Aureola

I use all of them but Dark often, but GBA Anima.

Valflame and Book of Naga (as depicted in FE13) because Michael Bay moments; Celica's Gale because of its usefulness; Aversa's Night for heals, especially when combined with the Sol skill.

For scrolls, Horse Spirit for the stat bonuses, and Izana's Scroll for player phase might.

^ beautiful.

btw, apparently ppl only comment about fe14, where are the other tomes like fe11 starlight?

Regarding scrolls, I guess Dragon Spirit and Calamity Gate, specially the latter because of the wonders it does when combined with breaker skills.

TOASTY!

Anyways, for the questions:

1. Depends on the game; Thunder, Shine and Flux in GBA (special mention to Aircalibur for FE6), El-tomes in Tellius, Arc-tomes in Awakening, Moonlight in Fates

2. Hmmmm.... Good question.

3. Valflame as depicted in Awakening because BOMBS. Also, TOASTY, aka Cymbeline, and the SS tomes in Radiant Dawn, as well as Mjolnir as depicted in Awakening.

4. I like them all except Dark, which nearly always draws the short straw, but if I had to choose, Anima.

1- I'd say I find myself using Thunder tomes a lot in every game

2- Forblaze, Excalibur and Mjolinir (Awakening) are quite sexy

3-Again, Forblaze just gets to me but both Glepnir and Naglfar have quite the animations

4-Anima Magic is my jam, I lost interest in Dark magic and I never liked Light magic that much. As for anima element, it would easily be Thunder.

All these answers vary from game to game obviously.

What tome/scroll do you find yourself using the most in battle?

The ones I use most are probably all the basic low level tomes honesty.

Which tome/scroll is your favorite?

Luna is so absurd and broken, and I love it.

What tome/scroll animation do you like the best?

Aureola looks cool. I love the moment of laser focus and the sound effects/music are great too.

Which type of magic do you prefer to use if you had to choose one?

Definitely Dark magic, no question.

Best trinity of Magic: Radiant Dawn

Prettiest magic animation: Creiddylad

Preferred magic type: Anima

Best magic user: Lute

My most used/most liked magic tome per game:

GBA: Fire/Fire

PoR: Elthunder/Rexbolt

RD: Elfire/Rexbolt

DS: Fire/Excalibur

A: Thunder/Aversa's Night

Nosferatu, anyone?

Balberith is my favorite.

Verrine also looks pretty awesome, with Rexaura and Rexbolt next.

Naglfar and Gleipnir are pretty damn kool as well. They always manage to make dark magic look as sexy as it is.

Hmmm, probably Forseti or Nosferatu/Aversa's Night. Forseti has dat speed boost, while Nosferatu has the ever so useful HP sapping. I find I like the SNES/DS, Radiant Dawn, and Awakening versions of Nosferatu the best, as I find it a bit too heavy to be able to be used effectively in PoR and the GBA games.
