It looks too static and boring for a monster made out of cut outs...And the cotton thing didn't work, even though I took it from a random cotton ball png. Harsh, man :P Regarding what you said about the cotton, I suggest you add some detail (shades) to the cotton ball with a very light grey, to generate a sense of texture and volume. Just a few subtle trims should do the work :) Other than that, it's actually pretty awesome! Keep it up!
