Question on critical hits

as we know, crits cannot miss.

so if i had a ludicrously low chance of hitting (somewhere between 1-25%), but 100% crit,

what would happen?

i believe that whether an attack hits or not is calculated first, but if it says it as a miss, then it shouldn't crit right?

but the crit chance is 100%, so what would happen?

would the crit not happen at all and just miss,

or would you hit the crit since crits can't miss at all?

(of course if getting such a low chance and also getting an 100% crit chance is even possible)

The hit would actually have to connect before the game checks to see if it crits.

so if it didn't hit basically it wouldn't crit at all despite having an 100% crit chance?

or would it just be a mask while it would be a lot lower than it actually being displayed?

You need to Hit before you can Crit. The percentage for Crit means basicly how many of your Hits (attacks, which connects) are Critical Hits. If you have for example 1% Hit and 100% then your chance to hit is 1% and if you hit the enemy, then the chance for a Crit is 100%, if you have 50% Hit and 50% Crit than half of your attacks hits and half of the attacks which hits are Critical HIts.

To get a rougth idea of your actually crit chance you have multiply the chance to Hit with the Crit Chance.

Example 50% Hit 50%Krit: 0,5*0,5=0,25 The Chance to land a crit is 25%

ooh, that makes sense.

thanks
