Emeraldrox
I've heard people talk about this often on r/fireemblem, and I wanna be able to edit the classes of my units in FE 6-8. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I downloaded the modules from a topic here on serene's from 2011, but I don't know where to go from here, really. Emeraldrox
Boy I hope someone out there sees this, I just now noticed how dead the GBA section is :(
Katie
Check the Resources section of the Fan Projects subforum. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Well, I seem to have found the editor, but my computer is INSISTING its a virus, even after I told it to let it go. Guess I won't be having fun with units. Tequila
If you're really suspicious of it, Nightmare's essentially a hex editor with an interface. You can do the same thing using a hex editor (like HxD) and using the modules you downloaded to find the necessary offsets. It's boring and error-prone, however (error-prone because you're staring a string of numbers and it's very easy to make mistakes if you're not careful). Alternatively, there's this. I don't think I can use that second one because I don't have excel, unless it's compatible with google docs version. My computer is the one with little faith in Nightmare. Even after I allowed it and restored it, it insisted it was malicious and continued deleting it.

Not sure if you're still looking for help, but if you have a list of changes you'd like made, I wouldn't mind making you a patch. Just let me know if you're interested. I was probably just gonna post a PMU on reddit or something after I finish my FE7 playthrough
