Alright, finally completed the hack.

Just reaffirming that the characters are great and so is the story (despite some typo and punctuation issues), but it's really the gameplay that kept me going here. It feels super varied and the enemies aren't pushovers.

With that said, here are a few things I remembered that weren't quite right:

  • Silver Longbows in Ch. 24 sell for 120 gold. Pretty sure they're not supposed to be that cheap.
  • Rhongomiant says it increases Str by 5, but it increases Res by 5 instead
  • Carwennan still has Armads' description (lightning charged axe, even though it's a sword)
  • Failnaught says it can "strike consecutively" but it's not a Brave weapon. Could just be wrong description.
  • Drynwyn is a Rank E tome and it says it boosts Luck by 5, though iirc it boosts Mag by 3.
  • Gespenst seems to be really heavy, even for a dark tome. It has 8 Mt, 14 Wt
  • There is a General on Ch. 25 that's equipped with a Silver Axe and... a Silver Sword. He's on the lower-left portion of the map, don't remember where exactly, but maybe he was intended to be a Hero?
  • Brendan, Odin, Elaine, Dione and Adin have FE7 endcards (Lucius, Bartre, Priscilla, Farina, Athos respectively)
  • I paired Wayland with Melia and Algimas with Ftact, they both have Hector Endcards.
  • Clara's ending card has a bit of text bleeding on it.

I'll also post my final roster and give thoughts on them.

Final roster. Will admit to doing a bit of savestate manipulation just to get them good growths before they promoted, but left them to their own after promoting:

OCA-181017-075211.png.e8ec0e97eed6756f0c9035e3f314e765.png

Algimas: Good lord, very well-rounded. I remember giving him a robe because I wasn't completely satisfied with my HP growths, but besides that, he was never a liability. Especially when he got Rhongomiant. A support with Ftact, B with Wayland.

OCA-181017-075221.png.59d2fe7789d136413a2d003ab2de719e.png

Ftact: Pretty sure I got luck-blessed here because iirc her luck growth is 30%. Gave her a robe, a body ring because dark tomes are heavy and her speed isn't the best; and a speedwing when she had trouble doubling things. Still, made for a great dark magic user that hit hard, nosferatanked well, and healed well when needed. A support with Algimas, B with Ernst.

OCA-181017-075241.png.d87389aedd074cfc9f274ff5989b5769.png

Wayland: Decent early on and just turned into a monster late game. He was consistently leveling 4-6 stats after promotion and just went on a tear. Dealt the most reliable damage to Jormund. A support with Meila, B with Algimas.

OCA-181017-075237.png.0339515f4df0e1b97396f1a8c04f6066.png

Ernst: I'm biased towards swordmasters and couldn't figure out who to fill out my party, so I gave him a go. Great offensively. Reliably doubled and critted (though there was a time his STR was equal with his SPD and SKL). His HP and defenses were just a touch too low (I remember giving him a talisman, icky RES) and I would always end up overextending him. He would die in two hits in the later chapters, but that was more of me being bad at positioning him. B supported him with both Negu and Ftact.

OCA-181017-075248.png.f22862d53a7c8aadc741b96b016fb1ba.png

Aceline: Useful as a bow knight early, dropped off a bit mid-game and returned to form once she promoted to General. Gave her the boots and a speedwing, not a bad investment. She was a solid unit overall with a varied offense, but held back a bit by the low-ish stat caps. Didn't always 1RKO, didn't need to. A support with Rorick (and honestly, her recruiting Rorick and Odin was pretty funny).

OCA-181017-075312.png.30ea5db914d6f8afecd53ade5cb1180b.png

Negu: Offense, speed, and mobility. Reliable doubler, and just seemed to dodge everything thrown at her. High CON also meant I could use steel/silver weapons without losing her doubling. Her defenses were pretty low, but she dodged a lot more than I thought she would. A support with Lani helps, too. B support with Ernst as well.

OCA-181017-075257.png.e7119c5799e629a2d955de7f3f25c1c7.png

Beatrice: Invaluable despite shaky MAG growths and frailness. Gave her an energy ring and dracoshield. Good anima magic user (and I love how the tomes now deal more damage against certain unit types to make up for her low MAG growth) and even her light magic wasn't too bad. Also functioned well as a heal bot. She'd be more useful if I raised and fielded Foskey just for the A support. She got B with Elaine.

OCA-181017-075316.png.b78cd06e39b6ec85fa38016cb01125a6.png

Lani: She didn't get the speed growths until later on (at one point her STR-SKL-SPD were all at 19), but she got really STR-blessed, and whatever she doubled, she could kill. Despite her excellent defenses, her HP wasn't the best. I found Negu to be more useful than her on this playthrough, but she pulled her weight as a flying unit. Her CON's also good, but she could have benefited from a body ring still. A support with Negu.

OCA-181017-075245.png.ef74a0cd9a5299f0743e687706727849.png

Rorick: I was pleasantly surprised by his solid bases and great growths, though I did give him a skillbook and an energy ring (just because his STR had a bit of a drought, but he picked it up). Insane CON means he wasn't weighed down by anything, and his superb speed made him a surprisingly effective doubler. He was my best flying unit killer, and could just about 1RKO most things. Not too shabby defensively too, HP tanked and never felt the need to actually rescue him. Superb unit, and I usually prefer berserkers over warriors. A support with Aceline.

OCA-181017-075227.png.45953cfb48f8c0d899d968c92e017138.png

Elaine: Did what a mounted healer was supposed to do and did it well. Mediocre growths are offset by extremely good utility anyway. Love the portrait. Dodged well enough that I wasn't concerned about her middling bulk. B support with Dita and Beatrice.

OCA-181017-075302.png.3b215976a43ccde266bfa864b63b4f64.png

Meila: Besides rogue utility, was extremely useful as a mage killer. Could even go against enemy zerkers and warriors. Gave her a killing edge and a lancereaver and she was surprisingly good even as an attack unit. Good dodging, too. A support with Wayland.

OCA-181017-075253.png.b8fe0d4c84def9f31f23a67898004f80.png

Celia: Now I get why she was MVP for the others. Benefits from gaining crit upon sniper promotion. Great bases, great growths, doubled everybody and their mothers, ridiculously good boss killer, great dodge... what's not to love? Her lack of bulk doesn't really matter. I only had her with a late Clara support, but that speaks volumes about how great a unit she is even without supports. I remember not fielding her in some chapters because she was far ahead most of my units and they needed the EXP more than she did.

OCA-181017-075305.png.ab1cbd37440dca6d651fe84d3a4e98b2.png

Auguste: Excellent starting level and bases with decent growths. It's her low CON that hurts the most, because she gets weighed down by even Iron Axes. Even with her great stats, she just fell outside the speed threshold to double more times than I would've wanted. Steel axes gave her trouble even on promotion because she gains 1 con. Gave her a body ring and focused on getting her lance rank up, and she ended up being very good. A support with Dita.

OCA-181017-075309.png.3705b902d24baa1d93d727d2251efa8c.png

Dita: A unit that got done in by being too... well-rounded. Well-balanced stats, good at everything. But the problem is she's just good at everything while everybody else was great at something. Good offensive stats and WTA, but just couldn't consistently double or hit hard. Good defenses but mediocre HP. Still, not a bad unit by any means. A support with Auguste, B with Elaine.

OCA-181017-075320.png.2a2ad93515630027573075b3c0d98dab.png

Clara: Good bases, growths geared towards MAG, but holy crap her HP was so low that even with a robe, she had less HP than Elaine. Drynwyn really kills her speed base too. Still, I chose her over other prepromotes due to Valkyrie heal utility. I missed out on Tanya, but I think she'd be a good staff user too.

Other notables:

Boleslav was good, but I had room for only one sniper. Sven I think would be evenly-matched with Auguste just because of the CON, though his luck and res are pretty awful. Still, good unit. I just preferred to use Auguste this time.

I'll do a second playthrough with the units I didn't use. I love how every unit in this hack is useful. Really adds to replayability.

I can confirm that defeating Dione in Chapter 18 does not prevent her recruitment at the beginning of Chapter 20.

So all I need to do is attack her with one (or both) of her former comrades and then I'm all good to recruit her on chapter 20?

Just Finished the Hack it's So Great I had Blast with it. The Characters fun, colorful and Diverse which is Great. The Difficulty was just Right and Variety Maps. It tested my Tactics Skills on some occasions to Max Level. Even thought I missed on Ayrlyne and Dione. I would play a second time when the Supports are done.  Overall: I'm so happy I played it.

My best Characters when it comes to their character:

1- Algimas: great Lord. Can't say anymore.

2- Kamille: Developed really greatly in the end and I'm happy about it

3- Ernst: Does things that makes Sense everytime. I love it.

4- Clara: Nice Cheeky Queen

5- Celia: Love me some Tsun characters.

6- Dita: I like me some Chillax Characters

7- Aceline: She is Cute when she is around someone and I love it XD

8- Rorick: Straight forward and fun

9- Franck: So Funny with his accent.

10- Boleslov: First Chubby Archer. say no more. great meme character.

11- Katarina: Love me some Tease Characters

12- Adin: The Hero we Need, But do not Deserve.

The Music in This Hack is So Good and I love listening to it SO SO Much for this bro. on the Music topic. I couldn't unlock the sound after I finished it and it kept going the save files and not the Main Menu. Would love to know if I can get the Music and listen to it everytime I have a cup of tea. Thank you and Great Job Guys on This Hack

Can anyone tell me how to recruit Tanya and Who is she? It looks like I don't get her. (I've already in Ch.23)

Tanya is a hidden character you recruit in chapter 15x.  In the locked room, there is a tile that is different from the others.  Have Algimas or the Tactician wait on the tile, you'll get a cutscene,, complete the chapter. and then she'll be available to deploy on the next chapter.

So another question: I just got to chapter 23 and I'm intrigued by the bosses Rudolfo and Baol.  Since they both have an affinity and the chapter objective is to escape, I was wondering if it's possible to recruit them like it is with Dione, or are they the Lloyd and Linus replacement considering their A support with each other, since in FE7 they were the only bosses with an affinity.

Thank you for answering my question.

About that, I guess we can't recruit Rudolfo and Baol, 'cause it seem like no one can support them.

I'm not sure I can agree with you, and my suspicion comes from Baol.  One, she has a too nice looking of a portrait to not be a recruitable character, much like Dione, and two, her stats are not threatening compared to the like of Roswell, Jeon, hell that Hero boss from chapter 21 was more threatening than her.  So I'm convinced there must be something about them.

So are you still on chapter 23?  If so, can you leave Rudolfo and Baol alone?  I took out both on the map, and Baol lived while Rudolfo died.  I want to see if anything changes if you leave them alone.

I've tried to leave Rudolfo and Baol survive, just escape form them. Rudolfo and Baol both survive without following us, but it seems like they plan something to do.

Okay.  Let me know if they appear later because Baol hasn't reappeared for me.

To the creator of this hack, is this story finished?  I ask because I am on what the game calls the final chapter, which is killing Jormund, and the story seems to have left out the resolution to Roswell and his story.  I know we fought him before and he supposedly exploded, but with the way it played out it didn't feel like his story completely wrapped up.

Also, are you in need of an script editor?  I don't know how to ROM hack, but if you send me text files of the story's script, I'll be happy to go over it, because there are a lot of grammatical errors in the dialogue.

So I just finished the game, and if I'm correct. then Rudolfo and Baol will not reappear on any map.  Baol for me just appeared in a cutscene after the final map, so those two just drop out of the plot after that map.

So despite this being the final version of this hack, the story feels incomplete.  So at the end of the game, we apparently sent another country into chaos after we murdered all their military generals and the emperor was killed by Roswell, who honestly now feels like a leech on the plot because his story didn't seem to have a proper end.  Yes he supposedly blew up but we already seen that he can come back from the dead, so I'm not buying it.  The game even says that the threat of Roswell has ended "for now", heavily implying that he'll be back.  The Braxians have taken over the Southern Coast of the continent and it looks like they will try conquest again.  The story just seems like the first act of an ongoing story, and unlike the main series, there is no guarantee that there will be a sequel that expands on this story.  I honestly feel a bit blue-balled here.
