Gradivus.
I second this. The first four or so drafters end up with a team consisting of 1 very good unit and 2 usable units. The last few end up with a team of 2 somewhat decent units and 1 horrible unit. Thirding it. C4 8/37 turns Roy charged through the cavs, 2RKOed most of them with an iron sword to conserve the Rapier. Recruited Rutger on turn 7, had to take an extra turn to get close enough to the gate and KE'd Erik on turn 8 with Rutger and seized. C5 4/41 turns Marcus waited next to the gate on turn 2 to open the gate, with Roy taking the front spot and killing enemies on EP. Marcus plugged up the choke next to the castle on turn 3 while Roy and Rutger killed some more enemies. Turn 4, Rutger KE'd Dory and Roy seized. C6 8/49 turns Roy and Rutger slowly fought their way through the middle, using the 2-tile wide chokepoint and vulneraries to their advantage. Turn 8, Rutger KE'd Wagner and Roy seized. Probably a pretty tough chapter without any drafted units available, considering how many lances there are at once, with some 1-2 range and thwomps thrown into the mix. Peppy
Thirding it. I'll fourth it. Like i mentioned, the previous Sadist Draft for FE6 had the last round reversed.
Carmine Sword
Chapter 17: 7/194 The 6 turn is ruined by that stupid Sleep Staff Bishop who parks himself right in front of Roy, preventing him from reaching the throne. At least it gives Barth more time to go to the bullshit arena for boots money. Seriously game, 34 strength Falcon Knights? I had to accept really low wagers since anything worth decent money was impossible to win. Merlinus bought a Killer Lance and a bunch of hand axes. Carmine Sword
Chapter 18: 8/202 Fa was 1 tile short of reaching the top village, fml. Curse her and her inferior movement. Dudes got stuck in the forest and had to spend some turns clearing enemies out of the way instead of moving forward since Dieck can't double the mercs while carrying Roy. eclipse
So I despise FE6, therefore this draft is for screwing around. Chapter 1 - 12/12 Lance tossed some stuff to Roy, who used it to kill the entire map. I had to reset entirely too many times because Roy didn't dodge. Chapter 2 Roy just died to a Hand Axe. Carmine Sword
Chapter 19: 7/209 Woo, finally have all of my units. Gave Niime an Angelic Robe and the Body Ring and had her murder most of the map. She's 80% of the way to S Dark already, haha. Dieck and Roy went to the throne. Roy equipped the Light Brand when he was dropped by the throne so that the knights would target Dieck instead so that the path to the throne was clear. On the last turn, Niime used the Warp Staff to warp Fa over to the Energy Ring village. Merlinus bought some door keys and chest keys for next chapter along with another Flux tome since Niime nearly broke hers during this chapter. Sniper Knight
With displeasure, Cath. I strongly fourth the reversed last round notion. I also can't seem to finish C1 under 10 turns, and 30 hit %s seem to be hitting more often than they miss.
Carmine Sword
Chapter 20: 5/214 Niime was super clutch. She killed most of the enemies in the 1st room with Nosferatu, silenced all of the status staff druids, and warped Fa to get the Speedwings and then Lalum down to Roy so he could seize. Roartz was too thwomp to ORKO with the Armorslayer, so Dieck had to crit him with the Killer Axe instead. Fa opened the door to Yuno's cell so I didn't have to use the Rescue Staff. Dieck got surrounded by the reinforcements near the throne and the Killer Axe and Wyrmslayer broke partway through the chapter so he couldn't ORKO the Wyvern Lords while carrying Roy, so I had to kill all of the reinforcements down south before I could get to the throne. At least Lalum got to max out her move. Speaking of which, I got 24 boots and 1 Energy Ring by warping Barth onto the secret shop, so everyone in final will have max move except for Fa, who gets NOTHING. Quintessence
Chapter 1 RNG scnearios RNG scenario 1: Roy goes to the village straight forward, the brigand and 2 fighters go left and corner the cavs. RIP RNG scenario 2: Roy goes to the village and chips a fighter to gain a lv. He lures them all, gets hp, skl, sp, lck and def and dies facing a 28% FUCK RNG scenario 3: Roy goes to the village and kills one of the fighters he chipped, he gets hp and skl, survives but takes more turns because no sp. FUCK RNG scenario 4: Roy goes to the village and chips another fighter, gets hp, skl and sp but dies afterwards when the archer and the fighter wreck him. Carmine Sword
Don't bother with the village, it's not worth it. Just take the lower path left and then go up.
Quintessence
screw it I already went for the village. NOT WORTH IT Ch 1: 10 Roy went to the house to dodge the fighters easier, went to the village then up to the throne where he crt blicked with iron sword lol Ch 2: 10/20 Ward wants to marry Anna, he got perfect lv up and some good str and sp levels. He isn't afraid of terribad hits! Ch 3: 11/31 Fuck. Roy went up to the throne while Ward backed him up from the soldiers on Lugh's house. Gradivus.
C7 8/57 turns Marcus soloed the left, Rutger and Roy fought their way up the right. Marcus opened the door with a key from the shop and silver lance'd the boss on EP7 to soften him up for Rutger to kill with Armorslayer on turn 8. Marcus just killed another enemy in the Roy's way to the throne on turn 8. Zealot just helped out in Merlinus' quest to collect all the RHS villages and bought some steel swords, and also recruited Noah. C8 26/83 turns Well, that was pretty intense. Had to fight through all the reinforcements before dealing with the throne room, so this took some extra turns. Roy Rapier'd Legance 4 times on the penultimate turn and Rutger dealt the finishing blow with Armorslayer on turn 26, allowing Roy to seize. Didn't get any treasure since I didn't have a chest key. C8x 12/95 turns Rutger promoted and charged through the long way, rescuing our boy occasionally. He dropped Roy within Henning's range on turn 11 to make him equip hand axe, ensuring better hitrates when killing him with 2 KE crits (68 hit, 66 crit or something). Oujay got exp. UNIT LEVEL HP S/M SKL SPD LCK DEF RES WEXP Roy 17.52 28 14 12 13 16 11 7 A Swd Rutger 15/2.30 38 12 20 20 7 9 5 S Swd Oujay 8.82 28 9 12 12 9 5 1 C Swd It may be worth adding some kind of exception for C8 in the future since the reinforcements are a major pain to deal with and put players without strong earlygame combatants at a disadvantage. I'm thinking of something like allowing one unpromoted mount for free during that map since rescuing allows you to speed up a bit and avoid some of that trouble if you have a weak team (while still not having stuff like Zealot-tier combat or multiple rescuebots available). Carmine Sword
May I ask why you chose Oujay? It seems that he would be gimped somewhat by Rutger getting the 1st Hero's Crest since he won't be able to promote until 16x unless you spend a bunch of extra turns getting all of the villages in Chapter 11. Gradivus.
Gonna get the Hero crest in C11, there's a breakable wall at the bottom that will make this easier to do at a reasonable pace (with Merlinus) while the main group advances towards the gate and gets the villages along the way. It might cost some turns compared to just taking the top path and skipping most villages though. I'll plan this out more once I actually get there. I'm not sure if Oujay was the optimal pick in my situation, but I noticed I didn't have any 1-2 range and he joins fairly early, so he can probably put in some work. Sniper Knight
Or Ogier, as he's apparently called now. Are undrafted units allowed to die while not countering? C1: 9/9 only went <10 turns because rng abuse. fuck roy. and those super accurate 30%s. and that village. C2: 10/19 rip Lot and Shanna (Thany was cuter). I couldn't find a way to 10 turn without their most honorable deaths. please tell me they're allowed to die. also why is the rapier running out of uses already. C3: 12/31 all my turncounts are probably wildly inaccurate due to all the cheating rn abuse I will invariably do. if I'd been a true cheater I could've rigged 2 3% crits in a row to get 11 turns but then I'd feel too guilty. C4: let's be honest if I somehow finish I'm going to be last place. also fuck roy. The drafting order is as follows: 1.
