So yea, Personal skills, what if Awakening also had those?

The main goal of this thread is to find the perfect (or not so perfect) personal skill for each of the Awakening.

Example

Name of the character

Name of the personal skill: Description of the skill (What it does in battle)

You can add a quick explanation of what gave you this idea (if you want)

I'll start with Robin

Robin

Tactical advice: If this unit supports another one, the other unit deals + 1 dmg and gets + 25 hit

Pretty straightforward, Robin is a tactician, he/she should gives advice to his/her ally

You can also post jokes/fake personal skills, you can even give personal skill to someone like Grima.

Feel free to also post a personal skill to a unit even if someone already did on the same character.

Frederick

Royal Guard - increases defense and resistance by 2 for every royal character on the map.

Sumia

Animal Handler - when riding beasts, damage increased by +2, damage taken reduced by -2.

Virion

Archest Archer - ranged attacks have a 20+ hit rate, enemy ranged attacks have a -20 hit rate, including spells cast from more than one tile away.

Cynthia

Heroic Speech - nearby units get a +2 increase to strength, magic and speed at the beginning of every turn.

Morgan

Fast Learner - +7 damage when fighting a previously engaged unit.

Gregor

Swell Sword- All allies within 3 tiles deal +3 damage when using swords

Cervantes

Divine Whiskers- When health is below 50%, Skill% chance of negating damage

Chrom

Exalted Lineage- When using any form of the Falchion, +3 damage dealt

Grima

Nightmarish Memories- Any 2nd generation unit within 3 tiles suffers -10 avoid and critical avoid

Say'ri

Iaijutsu - Upon counterattacking, Say'ri gains 20% crit and +2 damage

Iaijutsu is a quick drawing sword technique, mostly used in defense, so I figured it'd work on a more Samurai inclined character, such as Say'ri who is my favorite character in Awakening. Although this may be a tad insane & overpowered, whoops.

Chrom

Glory stolen: If this unit fights with either the Avatar or Lucina, the unit will miss a killing blow but the other character will finish the job for him. Don't worry, he will get his chance another day.

Sumia

Clumsy Girl: If this unit is not on the back of a beast, she will have a 40% chance of tripping on an enemy, dealing 10 dmg and stunning them until the unit's next turn. Does not affect mounted units. 100% if paired with Chrom.

Virion

Aristocrat flirt: If this unit engages a female enemy, the unit will do 0 dmg but the enemy unit will have no choice but to only attack this unit.

Cordelia

Impossible love: Cannot attack, move, dual strike, dual guard, or uses items if paired with Chrom.

Gerome

Behind the Mask- Allied Wyvern Units support by this unit get +5 to Damage dealt and -3 to Damage received.

Lucina

Leadership Quality - Use Rally to increase the chances of allied Dual Strike/Dual Guard actions for the affected units.

Owain

Sword Hand - When using a Sword +8 to damage dealt and +15 Avo.

Kjelle

Warrior's Duty - When this unit is a Pair-up Partner +20 to Dual Guard chance and -50 to Dual Strike chance.

Yarne

Fearful Charge - In any battle this unit initiates grants +15 Damage Dealt and -40 Hit. In any battle this unit did not initiate grants +15 Damage Received and +55 Avo.

Hmm... For the sake of this, I'm going to be assuming that Anna, Owain, Severa, and Inigo would all have the same personal skills as in Fates.

Lon'qu

Lingering Memory: Dual Guard chance +(5 + (5 x support rank))% when assisting a female character in battle.

*The support rank multiplier is based on the number the rank is; C = 1, B = 2, A = 3, S = 4.

Lissa

Not Delicate: Damage dealt +2 and damage received -2 when engaging an enemy at melee range.

Virion

Gallantry: Dual Strike chance +(5 + (5 x support rank))% when assisting a female character in battle.

*The support rank multiplier is based on the number the rank is; C = 1, B = 2, A = 3, S = 4.

Maribelle

Indignation: Damage dealt +2 and critical chance +20% when under attack.

Vaike

Braggadocious: Damage dealt +2 and avoid -10% when leading a pair-up team.

Panne

Just Retribution: Damage dealt +3 and avoid +30% when battling an enemy armed with an effective weapon.

Frederick

Stalwart Guardian: Grants an additional +1 to pair-up bonuses to all stats when this unit is a pair-up partner.

*Basically, he gives the other person Defender bonuses instead of getting them himself.

Sumia

Klutz: If this unit's attack misses, half the damage that would've been dealt (rounded down if the initial number is odd) is subtracted from the durability of the enemy's current weapon.

Donnel: Conscript- can wield lances in other classes.

These are bloody fantastic! Really wish these were a thing!

Owain's personal skill in Fates is his Japanese gimmick, as there was no sword hand.

As such, Lissa would not have this personal skill as that gimmick was English only.

Someone beat me to Frederick, dang it. :P Oh well, those are good ideas anyway!

Stahl: Gluttony - Consumption items (like elixirs and Gaius's Confection) have their effects boosted by 25% (an elixir will heal more damage, for instance).

Would it be too broken if Maribelle had something that would either let her use staves or tomes to reach one additional tile (I guess it would be applied to all staves)? It could help compensate for that horrible defense.

Ana: you can post your idea even if someone already posted on Frederick :p

Thane: Not really, she is really frail and that's only help for her own role.

Next, the children (no jokes)

Lucina

Leadership: Any children units 2 titles or less away from here get 2 additional dmg and 2 less dmg receive in battle.

Owain

Powerful names: If a unit holds a forged weapon and it has a new name, + 3 dmg (Not sure if Owain gives names to weapons in the japanese version but oh well)

Cynthia

Heroic aura: Rally, use to give allys Str/Mag and Speed

Kjelle

Tough Girl: Immune to debuffs (assuming we would also have debuffs in this game too)

Inigo

Lover: This unit gets 2 dmg if paired with any female units but will do 3 less dmg if fighting against a female unit

Brady

Priest's help: If a foe injured an ally, this unit will do 4 additional dmg to this unit and will restore half the dmg to his ally.

Gerome

Lone wolf: If left alone (not paired up or no ally closes to him), + 2 dmg increases, takes 2 less dmg and can move another turn if he didn't attack an enemy.

Nah

Hard scales: + 5 Def and Res if holding a Dragonstone, this doubles if Nah is in half health or less.

Yarne

Scared rabbit: Grants this unit 5 speed and 1 additional movement if this unit got recently attacked.

Noire

Fury: If this unit got attacked by an enemy, she will go in fury: grants 10 Str (10 Mag if holding a tome) but, will be unable to receive orders for 2 turns (cannot be control by the player).

Severa

Frustration: If paired up ally has 2 highter stats than this unit, this unit gets 100% critical strike for one attack

Laurent

Find a weakness: If this unit attacks an enemy without killing it, the target will have a debuff that increases from all sources by 10%.

Sugar Rush- +5 speed for 3 turns after using a consumable item

Cherche

Draconic Rivalry- When Cherche is a Wyvern Rider or Wyvern Lord, she will deal effective damage to enemy wyvern enemies

Aversa

Naughty- When using dark magic in a non-dark magic class (with Shadowgift), +3 damage dealt

Say'ri

Fie- All of this unit's possible dialogue, support conversations and critical hit cut-ins are changed to the word FIE, as are all of her weapons and skills

Virion

Kellam

Hidden in Plain Sight - +20 avoid when in a space without terrain effects.

Donnel

Tutored Strength - When he levels up, higher chance of leveling up the boon of his supporting unit.

Henry

Yay! Blood! - Heals 50% of HP after getting a crit.

Miriel

Bookworm - +1 damage dealt for each tome in her inventory.
