In hindsight, mention Trails of Cold Steel was a terrible way to avoid your attention. The sad thing is, I already own both of them on Vita because I accidentally bought the second one first. I was lucky to have enough left on the gift card to buy the first too, but now I have these two giant RPGs staring at me every day. And I still need to beat Trails in the Sky SC too, and I'll have Ys VIII sometime tomorrow... I have an RPG problem. And maybe a Falcom problem too. Although, I guess I've already seen a few thanks to playing Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki, but better to avoid more while I still can. Should I play Sky the 3rd first too? I've heard it's less connected than FC and SC are, but if there are any important spoilers for the 3rd, I'd rather be safe than sorry. If not, then I'll just go straight to Cold Steel since I don't own the 3rd yet. ...Also, does it count as derailing the thread if I can't advance the actual thread while you're here? While Cold Steel won't necessarily give out high-level spoilers, it will state some events that occur in SC, some more obvious than others. Now to hurry and play more Falcom games before I do get any warning points. Alright, that sounds doable. Ys VIII will still complicate my ability to actually beat any of them, but at least I know to put my attention toward one Trails game instead of splitting it between multiple. I mean, I probably should've done that from the start, but I'm... indecisive when it comes to RPGs, as much as I love them. Earthbound took three years of on-and-off playing for me to finally beat it. I'll just have to do my best to beat SC in less time so I can actually get to the Cold Steel games.
