I like your animations, they flow really well.

(This one is baller!)

But to be perfectly honest, you have two common flaws that are apparent in all of them.

Firstly, they have very small reach. I'm referring to how their attacks have little momentum relative to their starting positions. If you actually insert them in-game, their sprite might have trouble actually connecting with the enemy's sprite.

For example: eiub41t.gif

Sometimes the opposite happens, where their starting positions are too close to where the enemy sprite would be.

E.g. this one: http://m.imgur.com/RXyRgFZ?r (though the reach is still too small)

Secondly, your palette choices are... strange. The skin colours look either too dark or too bright. The palettes for clothing/armour often look too dark and don't contrast enough (though others told you this before me).

Too light skin: wFg7tas.png

(But hey no pillow shading on this one and the palette is pretty good. Nice!)

My advice regarding this is taking palette and shading examples from the vanilla battle sprites. Still, good job for making these! Animating can be quite a pain. I know I'm talking about older works and you might have already worked on the aforementioned criticisms, and in that case... Oops... Sorry.
