Kaden Posted April 28, 2018 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Two things. When I saw LotW Lyn on the notice board, I was thinking of other characters who could have been the new legendary hero instead. To keep this short, I feel like alts can be a way for units who gain or can use multiple weapons to do so if perhaps only to cover things that are lacking. For example, we have a bunch of sword infantry in FE, but we also have a bunch of mercenaries who can become heroes and gain the ability to use axes or become bow knights and gain the ability to use bows. Well, that made me think of how Bartre, a warrior capable of using axes and bows, is possibly big enough of a meme that him showing up as a legendary hero and as an archer could have worked and met with a fair reception. I figured they could just make up a bow for him if they didn't want to give him Rienfleche. Something like Karla's Bow, as unimaginative a name that is, and have it reference her Sacaen background, Bartre's ability to use bows as a warrior and in a way, Karla's inability to use bows in-game, and Bartre's relationship with her. He could have a line joking about her not being good at using bows because she was more focused on her swordsmanship than anything else and then totally drown us in tears by reminding us she's dead. Second thing is that I was checking if there was anything else related to bows and Sacae and I found out that Laws of Sacae is a reference to a chapter in Binding Blade. Pretty neat. Yeah, I gave my Ike Poison strike 3 for maximum arena value way back when. It came right off and Vantage went back on after my AA run was over. Even for units with not as practical skills, I still keep them around in case I want to do something stupid like the all Brave weapons and Pass running cavalry defense team I've been wanting to do. So if you have no 5*+10 projects, what do you spend your feathers on? I have to say it's been a long time since I've had this many at once and it feels pretty good. I know IS is pouring the orbs on just about everyone, but I have to say it feels pretty good to have had 20-30 orbs already when the rain started falling. Ideally, I think I'd want two more copies of Zelgius so that I can hand off Fierce Stance to Jeorge to finish his build. But for the reasons above, she would probably have her Lv40 convo unlocked, and then she would be gone. Though now I kinda want another one so I can kill her again to give Klein (who I want to +10) that sweet Firesweep action too. I've already stated my intentions should I ever get an Anamnesis Lady Eirika, so I won't repeat myself.
