I mean, sure, if they want to have at least one of a sword wielding Pegasus Knight, a lance wielding Pegasus Knight and an axe wielding Pegasus Knight among the Archanean cast then the developers could have simply made it so that each of the Whitewings uses the weapon that matches the signature color of each one with pink being counted as close enough to red (which is something I suspect that the developers actually did do with the Whitewings, thus making Palla, Catria and Est an axe user, a lance user and a sword user respectively) but dropping Caeda's claim to gameplay based awesomeness?
