I mean, in order for a ad to appear, someone has to pay for it. I don't think nintendo pays fansites to shows ads of their games, but I could be wrong. ElementKasai Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Google uses your navigation data to select ads, if you search something on Amazon you can see it very easily, since you usually get the exact product you searched. If you don't search too much FE realted stuff on Google you'll probably never see an ad regarding that. Otherwise, the ads are targeted and you'll see what they think you'd be most interested in based on your history. That's why when people complain about getting dating site/hentai/porn ads you know what they've been browsing a lot of recently! It ranges from makes sense, prenatal vitamins to why?, I'm getting tons of Kia ads, and I've never expressed any interest in cars, nor remember ever searching for them.
