I reduced Kliff's speed because of how Saggitae in Echoes is quite heavy

Yay, I love Kliff. The first thing I notice his his attack stat. 44 is exceptionally high, especially for a mage and a bit unreasonable in my opinion. With minus Atk IVs, his attack is still 1 point higher than Effie’s and 4 points higher than the next highest mages. The speed decrease for Saggitae is fair and a nice touch of accuracy. His Res is also weird to me. For one thing, he has the lowest Res in the game, even though in both Gaiden and the remake he has the highest base Res in Alm’s starting party. My suggestion would be to take points off of his attack and put them into his Res. As for his skills, Saggitae is cool, as long as it’s a unique skill. Attack Pulse is a bit much for me, as it would give people whos weapons give them power cooldown too powerful. But if you have the caveat of “If a similar skill is used, only the highest value is applied,” the this skill is completely fine. Miracle Ring is good and would work well on tanks.

Ah, a unit of every color I see. Nice. More Kliff is always good too. 

Your stat totals are a bit off.

The stat total for a non-villager infantry archer is 147 or 148, while Python has 152.

The stat total for a non-villager non-child non-dancer non-Fjorm infantry lance unit is 157 or 158, while Forsyth has 159.

The stat total for a non-child non-Dancer non-Lute infantry tome unit is between 147 and 149, while Luthier has 156. 

Kliff’s stats are fine, since he gets villager boosts. 

As for the the movesets, I like how all of these characters play with stats. Even though Kliff is my boy, Luthier is my favorite here.

L'Arachel: Queen Of Light (Cavalry, Staff)
Description: The princess of the theocracy of Rausten. Fights for justice and order. Appears in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

@The Lord Of Gems I like these guys. Just a few things:
L'Arachel: Seems pretty good... though Latona feels oddly underpowered for a legendary staff, now that we have the + healing abilities. I'd still like her tho.
Leif: Not sure how I feel about the Light Brand... though I can't see it working any other way. I like him tho.
Micaiah: I've been trying to give someone a RES Steady Breath for a while, but I couldn't make a unit I liked it on; guess you beat me to it. Also, giving her Renewal and Ardent Sacrifice is something I have on my Fae, so I approve this combination.

@KiwiScribble Here are some ramblings on your units, sorry if this isn't what you were looking for:
Edgar: Stats look pretty balanced, lowish RES aside, which is alright by me. Volant Axe is alright. Sky Strike/Daybreak is interesting, kind of an inverted Vengeance. Not sure how I feel about double-breakers, but seeing the drawback makes me kind of okay with it. I don't fully understand how Equalizer works. I like.
Ivy: Slow and strong with lots of HP, I like this already. Superior Lance intrigues me, and strikes me as something that could/should get into the game at some point. Shelter interests me, though I'm not sure how practical it would be in practice (though Pivot+Swap could certainly have its moments). Heavy Strike... I was gonna say Heroes doesn't do % damage increases, but Night Sky/Glimmer/Astra do, so I'm okay with an Armor-specific always-on Death Blow of sorts. Ironclad Assault makes me want her, just so I can throw her on a team with 2 stacks of Ward Armor and Fortify Armor and watch her do follow-ups all day as everyone just plinks off of her... though does the take-less-than-8-damage apply to just the ATK-DEF, or does the follow-up fail if a Special makes Ivy take more than 8 damage? Overall though, I like.
Liam: Horse healer, though my first thought on seeing his stats was Caeda for some reason. Hvitrwolf... not sure I'm okay with being able to grant effective-vs-cavalry, but it doesn't seem too OP (also, is there a Hvitrwolf+? And if so, does it upgrade the effect in some way, or just give Wrathful/Dazzling?). Physic is okay, presumably gets Physic+ too so that's quite alright. Swift-Winds Balm, also a decent enough thing. Sharpen SPD... I had wondered if there would ever be a Drive-style Hone skill, so seeing one here is cool. I don't get too excited about healers, and Liam isn't an exception, but I think he's alright.
Phelan: Dark mage is cool, and having high ATK, SPD and RES is nice. Low HP would be annoying, but I guess he had to have a weakness. Bloodstone... my only problem with this is that it changes this unit's color every other turn. That sounds kind of annoying to work around. Can't argue with giving 36/36 offenses tho. Draconic Aura coming off of 47/50/53 base ATK is alright. I like Lifetaker, being able to heal about 1/3 of Phelan's HP with every kill is a neat thing, and also like something I would want as a Sacred Seal so I could stick it onto my Fae. Arcane Duelist is perhaps overly specialized, but being able to screw over stuff like Blade-tomes and Dire Thunder that need their effects to be great is a nice thing. I like the anti-mage mage. This guy's cool.
Yolanda: Unimpressive stats are unimpressive. Serrated Dagger seems like a decent anti-AoE weapon, and the -7 DEF/RES is nice as usual. Harsh Command is k. Fury makes me understand why Yolanda had unimpressive stats, they all get decent with +3. Parallelism is interesting to me, good way to mess with Staff users now that Fear/Slow+ can be a thing. Yolanda is my least-favorite, but still someone I think is alright as a unit... she's just not for me.
Overall, good units. Nice work, mate.

As for myself, I decided to try making altered versions of the Askr trio. I tried not to make them OP while still being good, but I think I might've made at least one of 'em too good:

Sol: So Alfonse can stay in Follow-Up Ring range.
Death Blow: Same as Alfonse. Still a good skill (now gives a total of 61 ATK).
Renewal: To help Alfonse live longer and stay above 50% HP.
Drive ATK: Like Spur ATK, but with a wider range.

Sharena's got armor on, which gives her a higher stat total to work with. As such, every stat is higher except for her HP.
Blessed Fensalir: Was going to give SPD +3, but Anna got that, so Sharena got DEF +3 instead. Upgraded Threaten ATK 2 to Threaten ATK 3 & Threaten SPD 3.
Rally Spectrum: The logical upgrade for original Sharena's Rally ATK, now she gets a Rally Everything.
SPD RES: Upgrade for original Sharena's SPD +3. Boosts her SPD and RES equally, so she ends up with 35 SPD and 32 RES.

Stats:
 Anna's on a horse now, so her stats had to drop a bit. I dropped her RES, and added one point to her SPD.
Flaming Noatun: Anna goes fast, and now her axe lets her go faster. It additionally comes with a Windsweep-except-better effect because I thought that would be cool for her to have (and it helps her survive, given that her defenses aren't very good).
Galeforce: Gives Anna more Player Phase.
Flashing Blade: Anna has 42 SPD. She should have this. And so, she does.
Vantage: On the original Anna. I see no need to change this.
Drive RES: Upgrade to the original Anna's Spur RES.

To Summarize: Alfonse is a stronger pega-pony prince, Sharena put on the heavy armor and got a little better at everything, Anna got on a horse to go faster.

Introduction - Radiant Dawn is one of my all-time favorite games in the Fire Emblem series, and it pains me to see that it has not received any sort of representation in Heroes. As such, I came up with my own ideas for what units would be included in a Radiant Dawn-themed banner, Grand Hero Battle, and Tempest Trial. I am open to responses, so please tell me what you think! - KoolioKenneth   (Note: I originally posted this as a separate thread, so please ignore that one if you see it. This is the fully updated version.)

 

Summoning Focus - Liberation of Dawn banner (Red: Pelleas / Blue: Micaiah / Green: Kurthnaga / Colorless: Sothe)
Grand Hero Battle - Mad King Ashnard (Reward: Ashnard)
Tempest Trial - War-Torn Tellius (Reward: Sephiran)

 

Micaiah - “Priestess of Dawn”
Blurb - “Founder of the Dawn Brigade, once known as the Silver-Haired Maiden. Quiet and serene, she does not express herself well, but loves her friends and country with all her heart.”

Summary - Blue tome infantry appearing in the Liberation of Dawn Summoning Focus.

Desired VA - Erika Harlacher

Explanation - Micaiah is obviously the highlight unit of the banner, but I admittedly had a bit of trouble designing her. The most difficult part of Micaiah’s potential as a unit in Heroes is whether or not she would be made into a mage unit (like Celica) or be made into a staff unit to highlight the recent buffs that staves got in the latest update. I decided to go with Blue tome so that she wouldn’t share colorless with Sothe in the banner, saving the staff for Sephiran. She wields RD’s most powerful Light Magic, Rexaura (a member of the Aura family) which serves to bridge the gap between Linde and Delthea’s weapons. Micaiah is made with her RD playstyle in mind, working off of her high ATK and SPD alongside extremely low physical frailty. However, I intentionally made her ATK and SPD not quite high enough to be classed alongside other glass cannon blue mages like Linde, Delthea, and Lute, instead relying on her unique C-skill, SPD/RES Ploy, to get her the stat margin she needs. Her other unique skill is her Assist, Branded Sacrifice. It serves as a reference to what made Micaiah so special at the start of RD, in which she could offer her own HP to another party member. This version of the skill is much more powerful, allowing her to run as a healer very well.
**Alternate Weapon - Thani: Staff. 16 Mt. Comes with Wrathful Staff. Ignores bonuses on cavalry/armored units.**


Sothe - “Daein’s Liberator”
Blurb - “A member of the Dawn Brigade who was raised in the slums of Daein by Micaiah. After fighting alongside Ike in the Mad King’s War, he swore to protect Micaiah at all costs.”

Summary - Dagger infantry appearing in the Liberation of Dawn Summoning Focus.

Explanation - Sothe effectively serves as Heroes’ first ever wielder of a brave dagger, taking the form of the insanely powerful Baselard weapon from RD. His existence is meant to beat out units like Brave Lyn and Bridelia with the highest offensive BST in the game and restore the overall strength of dagger units. His unique special, Whisper, is taken right out of Radiant Dawn, making it great at whittling down tanky units like Arden. His other unique skill is a B-slot support skill that allows him to forego Desperation and Vantage in exchange for nullifying it against his enemies, along with granting his allies the same benefit. When positioned properly, Sothe can be a great support unit in addition to offense.

Kurthnaga - “Scion of Dragons”
Blurb - “The kind-hearted son of Dheginsea, King of the Dragon nation of Goldoa. He left his home to discover the whereabouts of his lost siblings, eventually joining Micaiah.”

Summary - Green dragonstone infantry appearing in the Liberation of Dawn Summoning Focus.

His statline grants him the title of highest defensive BST, barely beating out Sheena. When compounded with his weapon, he becomes the ultimate wall to both physical attacks and magic. He also comes with Hone Dragons to accompany Ninian’s Fortify Dragons, completing the set.


Pelleas - “Orphaned Prince”
Blurb - “The heir-apparent to the throne of Daein on the grounds of being Ashnard’s long-lost son. Timid and gentle, he often feels conflicted about running his country.”

Summary - Red tome infantry appearing in the Liberation of Dawn Summoning Focus.

Desired VA - Chris Hackney

Explanation - Pelleas is one of the most pivotal characters of Micaiah’s story in RD, serving as the symbol of hope for Daein’s people in such a dark time. But in this game, he is here as a red unit for the banner and adds a new niche. At 36 SPD, he is the fastest Red tome user in exchange for middling ATK. However, this is fixed by his weapon, Balberith. Once owned by his former master Izuka, this dark magic tome granted ATK +3 to the wielder’s stats in RD, and similarly does so here. It works similarly to a raven-tome, and comes alongside TA and Bowbreaker, which makes him fantastic for dealing with offensive bow units like Brave Lyn. His final asset comes in the form of his unique skill Flare, which works like Aether as a single hit. Just be careful with using him, as he has rather low DEF and RES, which leaves him vulnerable to overly offensive units. TL;DR, he is basically a faster, less tanky version of Henry.

Explanation - First off, yes I am aware that Ashnard was not in RD. However, Ashnard has so much potential as a unit that I couldn't help but slide him in. It helps that he has a unique set as a sword-wielding dragon knight, and being a villain, he fits perfectly into a GHB role. Ashnard fills in the role with a sword that Valter and Michalis did with lance and axe: a violent military leader on a wyvern with a love of combat and conquest. In this vein, Ashnard stands out as a sword-wielder by being built similarly to units like Mia and Ayra who get great benefit out of their specials. This is due to his weapon and unique A-slot skill, which can be deadly when used in tandem. Being a GHB unit, I gave him a skill in every slot to help those who want him for SI. With his unique skill set and solid stats, Ashnard makes for a solid choice even among the enormous amount of sword units in the meta.

Explanation - Sephiran joins Effie, Mia, and Arden as a unit with a key stat that breaks into the 40’s, sporting the highest natural RES in the game by far. This fits him into a niche with Warding Stance, allowing him to be the ultimate magic tank, along with weakening enemies with ATK Ploy. His weapon and assist are both references to the final chapters to RD, in which he used both as character-unique weapons. Creiddylad also comes with a shrunken-down version of RES Smoke, which gives him some utility on offense, too. But where he really shines is his unique skill Corona, which allows him to activate Glacies with a lower cooldown count.

Continuing Progress

Nero Lionheart:

This is a character I made-up as an FE Lord.His original name is actually Nero Bostanne, but he later earned the last name Lionheart because he was considered to be as bold and fierce as a lion, and was granted that name by a lord he fought for. He starts off very poor early in his life born in a poor family and of a naturally segregated race of red-eyed folk. He starts of early in his adult life (16 yr old) as an axe wielder, who loaded every strike with as much strength as he could. It made him effective on the battlefield and as he tried to make a name for himself. However, it wasn't enough, especially when he met a swordsmaster who showed him his flaws in combat, and eventually taught him how to fight with most effectively with greater speed and accuracy. Nero masters the sword and surprisingly becomes better than his master eventually, and he gains a special sword from his lord commander, the sword is a hybrid between a sabre and a longsword. In his final battle where he leads the fight against the main city of the kingdom he sought to help overtake he wears a grand spectacular armor gifted and a legendary axe to him by his dying lord and commander. I wanted to make units for his three different forms. So here it is:

Illiya is of the same race of people as Nero, but she is one of the rare kind of her race who has special powers, and the ability to turn into a dragon whenever they want. However, it's hard for her to change back while she is in her dragon form, so using a Dragonstone helps her change back and forth much more easily. She was rescued by Nero because Nero felt sympathy for her after he had destroyed her home during the verge of a war. Nero realizes she has special powers, and keeps her hidden from the rest of the world. She is not as strong as other dragons of her race have been throughout the ages due to the decrease in magic throughout the world. She and Nero are called Demonborne People, but the people of Aenon are not as superstitious other nations so this did not affect Lionheart's conquest or Iliya's stay in Aenon.

Riccard Lionheart (The Charming Mage-Prince/ Pre-Awakening)

Riccard is the son of Nero Lionheart. He does not have his father's fighting prowess, but he does have his father's intellect. Riccard's swordsmanship is generally slightly above average, but not good enough to match up to other well trained lords, and especially not anywhere near his sister. Riccard is more interested in obtaining knowledge, and power that can completely outclass melee combat. This ends up leading to his great magical prowess, which he has a secret gift for. Riccard obtianed the recessive trait for people of his kind, and he ended up having golden eyes instead of red. This recessive trait is so rare it hasn't been seen in hundreds of years by anyone. It is prophesied that those who obtain golden eyes will be able to use the great power of light, and Riccard ends up being able to do just that, but he also has the blood of his mother a dragon, that gives him great prowess in the dark arts of magic as well. Eventually Riccard after some time venturing obtains a divine blade that lights up in golden fire that he can wield in addition to being able to use his immense magic. Anyways here is me trying to create a FEH unit of Riccard.

Ellisa Lionheart

She is the daughter of Nero Lionheart, and one of the best swordsmasters in the realm. Her skill with a sword is unparalleled, she was trained by her father, and her father's leading general, Zaccarias. Although her father passed away before she could become an adult, Ellisa still remains strong for her family. She cares about her brother dearly, and tries to help him train, which is the only reason her brother isn't completely awful in melee combat. She never bested her father, but she bested the son of Zaccarias, Lloyrell, who is trained by his father (who is the new king regent, due to Riccard being somewhat of a minor, and of course because King Nero has yet to return from his battle until he is presumed dead) and some of the finest swordsman in the kingdom. When Lloyrell kills his father, and attempts to overtake the kingdom, Ellisa tries to kill Lloyrell right then and there at the expense of her own life, but Riccard manages to restrain her, and they both are forced to retreat, and then eventually flee from the kingdom since Lloyrell's banner-men, both new and old, overwhelm those directly loyal to house Lionheart. Ellisa now tries to venture with her brother to try and reforge their army, and obtain new allies, so that they can defeat back Lloyrell's men, and take back the kingdom that rightfully belongs to them.

He is the son and murderer of Zaccarias, the king regent of Aenon. He has been called many things, including the Liberator of Aenon, the Bringer-of-Light, the Divinely-Chosen King, and after he died the Traitor of Loyalty. Lloyrell once was a respected knight, and the son of the king regent, Zaccarias, and had ambitious dreams, but not the ones people knew him for. Lloyrell from a young age demonstrated great skill like his father, he earned his knighthood at a very early age, he respected his trainers and masters even after surpassing them, but he was always very distant from his father. Before the day of rebellion Lloyrell challenged the heir to the throne Riccard to a duel, and almost humiliatingly beat him, even considering going for a final kill blow, until Riccard's sister Ellisa rushed in and after an intense fight defeated Lloyrell with Piercion. The fight was won there, but on the same night was Lloyrell's plan to rally his new secret bannermen to his side and prepare to overthrow and take the kingdom. First, Lloyrell stabbed his father in the back after his father gave the fight of his life against various assailants, then Lloyrell took his father's lance and later declared himself king after ambushing and forcing Riccard and Ellisa to retreat from the kingdom, on the day Riccard was supposed to be crowned king. Lloyrell then put himself on a journey to unlock the powers of Gungnir, and reach a state of Apotheosis like the kings of legend and Nero Lionheart did, while also hoping to gain power and support of the people to help prevent his bannermen from ever being able to back-stab him, and take Aenon for themselves. He failed when Riccard killed him after unlocking his own powers after going through a dangerous adventure through the Forrests of the Gods, and later finding his sister with her new army. Lloyrell saw his father as unworthy of the throne of Aenon, as well as Riccard for being no true warrior, and Ellisa for lacking wits and sight. Lloyrell respected the old king who never came back from battle, Nero Lionheart for fighting his way to the throne, even though he despised their children. Lloyrell had dreams of greatness, and saw the oppurtunity to take power and rewrite history when it was there, but unfortunately that opportunity was crushed by Riccard.

She is the heir to the Fertile Garden Kingdom of Andathia, and later a friend and a love-interest of Nero Lionheart at one point. She betrays Nero behind his back at one point, but Nero eventually finds out and Elluria is left in fear that she won't be married to him, and he won't do the right thing and join their two houses together. Nero eventually does, making Elluria the queen of Aenon, and with her they had Ellisa, but the second child that they were supposed to have was a stillborn child, and it killed Elluria from the pain, and shock, but Nero and his adviser Selris worked together to hide the stillborn child, and pretend that Elluria had birthed a healthy child. This child was Riccard, who was actually the bastard son of Nero, and Illiya.

Ratonakae is considered the strongest of the Spiritmen, and that's why he leads them, and as a result his Wolf clan is also considered the strongest of all the clans within the Spiritmen band. The Spiritmen have trouble with the new animal kingdom of shapeshifters, also known as Laguz or Taguel. They view shapeshifters as an abomination in nature, but don't go attacking them unless the Laguz/Taguel enter their territory. Ratonakae eventually helps Ellisa Lionheart reclaim her kingdom after it has been overtaken by the traitorous son of the former king regent, Lloyrell, and his new found banner men. Ratonakae is very strict, and holds on to his traditions strongly, he only seeks to help Ellisa to help his people thrive even further on to a new frontier, and he cares deeply for his people, especially his sister Tsula.

Quasos is a master duelist, and infamous arena champion in the small island of Droxan. He is invited to Aenon by Nero Lionheart where Nero tests Quasos by setting him up for a serious number of challenges that he has no idea about. Well I found Dullahan Amelia while looking for Amelia fan art and just couldn't resist. So here is a Halloween Amelia. Bear in mind this is mostly a joke build and not in anyway meant to be ballanced.

I imagine her being the boss of a Warriors style map. Many many weak foes that can easily fall. And she sits in the back ordering her spooky minions forward. However, before the battle a local villager begs you not to drag the battle out and says you must defeat her before she becomes too strong to defeat.

Anyways the 'spooky' skills were what sprung to mind first with the 'fallen' skills being brought about when I imagined her having a map to face against the player. Maybe she could be a GHB instead of a banner, yes?

I don't think I have to tell you what I did here, do I?

Weapon: Spooky Lance - 16mt - Grants +10 to damage when Special triggers. Cannot be inherited. 
Refinement Special Option: Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1).
A reverse of Hauteclere. It starts with the +10 damage but gets the cooldown reduction later. Of course on the infernal version of her map she would have the weapon refinement.

Spooky Swap - Swap places with an adjacent ally and activates your C-Skill from your new position.
Basically in her case she will spooky smoke 2 spaces from her new location. This would let you hone after swapping, damage the enemy with savage blow, or even heal with Breath of Life. You get the idea.

Special: Fallen Vengeance - 2 Turn Cooldown
+5 damage for every ally that has fallen.

In player hands that is at best a +15 to damage. You know, maybe you should try listening to the random villager for a change. At least 20x5 sounds like it would hurt a little.

A Skill: Fallen Fury - Unit gains +1 ATK/SPD/DEF/RES during battle for every ally that has fallen.
Not a great skill in player hands, since ideally we won't be losing units left and right. But the AI will make better use of it. Oh and in the Warriors style map that would add up to a huge stat boost for the boss.

B Skill: Spooky Wrath 1/2/3 - Cannot be Inherited
Standard Wrath that bypasses type locking but can't be inherited.

C Skill: Spooky Smoke 1/2/3 -  If unit HP ≥ 100/50/0; after combat, if unit attacked, bonuses on all foes within 2 spaces of target become penalties through foes' next actions.
And this is where she has the panic skill that was prevalent during the Halloween Banner.

I've never tried putting characters from non-FE games into this, but I suppose Xenoblade Chronicles 2 would be a good fit.

 

Rex - Unexpected Driver (Infantry, Sword)

I wouldn't be surprised if these characters a considered a bit "overpowered."
