For anyone else, you might have better odds just waiting for another pull-- I got the dinky worthless 1* Sophia from the day 1 event, upgraded her to 2* and sunk a bunch of crystals to get her to level 20 because she's worthless in battle, only to get a 3* Sophia in my next batch lol. Granted, odds/experiences differ so there's no guarantee that this will happen for other people, naturally, but I'm kinda disillusioned to the process TBH.
