mcsilas Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) Oh my gosh I'm so drained....just trying to get back up to Tier 19 has been exhausting because it took me so long to get a deathless run and go back up to the upgrade threshold... Darn broken Armour 'Fighter' skills... I burned so many crests and just decided to skip any battles with annoying units like horsies or W!Tharja. (I run Halloween Henry and Vector so BK is my very shaky check to her, and Sharena doesn't have DC). I even gave Sharena Swordbreaker this run because of the many Zelgiuses and L!Ike's that ruin my night. I even changed Henry's SS to a newly upgraded Atk Ploy 3 instead of the Drive Def seal. I finally got deathless run 1 hour before arena closes though. I was fishing hard. Also @Rezzy @Vaximillian I found this interesting Titania last night That Def refined Slaying Axe though. BK was battling her, both on a defense tile and BK could only do 1 damage! Darn she's deceptively bulky! But yeah, with the amount of people in the tier, you need 4800+ just to go up. Anyways, team used was C!Robin (Tannenboom+ (atk), Swap, Bonfire, Brazen Atk/Spd, Swordbreaker, Armor March, Deflect Magic), Grima (Expiration, Swap, Ignis, Fury, Vengful Fighter, Ward Armor, Distant Def), C!Chrom+1 (Sack of Gifts+ (def), Swap, Aether, Brazen Atk/Def, Wary Fighter, Ward Armor, Panic Ploy), and Black Knight (Alondite, Swap, Black Luna, Steady Stance, Wings of Mercy, Ward Armor, Quick Riposte) I’ll probably swap out C!Chorm for Hinoka next season. I'm wondering if that's a +Def-Res, because even my S Supported +10 Titania only has 28 Def. +6/+6 on both close and ranged probably helps a lot, too. Maybe 5 weeks now? I also got 10+ defense wins. The first few were with green spam (Merric, Raven, Grima, and Lucius), but the last couple wins had Joshua instead of Grima. I kinda wish I could see how my characters gave other teams trouble or if they were just lucky wins. I think Merric's bulk and Raven's Galeforce might take people by surprise. Or it could just be the Dazzling/Wrathful healer. Who knows? I started building my Chrom yesterday thinking I would for sure be using him in the Arena... I've been doing some extra pulls to see if I can get another Chrom or M. Morgan, so if I do get another Chrom, I'll probably merge and use him. But if I can stop being stingy for 3 seconds, I might use one of my Fire blessings on Merric. I'd much rather give him an ATK boost...but 40 DEF is pretty tempting. 46 with Distant DEF (the seal I'm running atm). And maybe in the future we'll get a Fire hero that gives an ATK boost. I kind of want to use Anna on the usual Nino core so I can use Eirika's shiny new refined Sieglinde, but I might end up just throwing together a team from scratch. My new high score of 4,936 in AA was just enough to barely stay in the top 10k with a rank of 9,816. Need more merges to keep raising my score. This won't be good enough to stay for much longer. Normally I keep a team with just Lukas on it for doing easy AA every day, but I had to scrap it for making elemental teams. Yesterday, I used my Arena Defense team and dropped everyone but Lukas to do my daily AA run and I forgot to put everyone else back in. Today I checked my Defense wins and I had like 7 or 8 new wins. They were all for just a little over 300 points but still, if someone is having trouble getting just one win they might want to try this. Usana Posted March 13, 2018 Share Posted March 13, 2018 Welp 4902 was not enough to move up to 20. So a full deathless run with slightly more than my average of 700 isn't enough for T20 anymore. The only place the dragon team can go is unlocking potential and burning hundreds of thousands of feathers to try and get high merged 5*. Or maybe Aether, but that is still a lot of feathers and Chroms to kil. The worst part is. . . I am not sure if my Armor team actually has a much higher average match up. I've seen people make fully built 1 star units and merged to +10 for the Easy Arena Assault defense wins. I was too nervous about his lower defensive stats (mine is -Def) to let him enter combat even once. Haha. Maybe he'll get a kill next week! I miss using Alm as my bonus unit.
