Henry’s Armour March also helps. Ephraim also has Smite which benefits both him (for Flame Siegmund) and his armour teammates. (@mampfoid Smite users club!) My score is 10,604 so you should be safe. I’m forced to fish for scores worth 700 now but i have 500 crests so i don’t mind for now. 48xx just doesn’t cut it as a score these days. Not really so much into merging myself, i already face +5 teams and would have a tougher time facing even more merged units. Well plus most of my team consists of limited or seasonal units. My last sets of orbs haven't gotten me any additional copies of Sheena and I need at least one more to make her score higher (at +7) than Nino (at +10). I've got a nice stockpile of feathers just waiting for if that happens, too. In the meantime, a bit of overflow on that stockpile has seen Florina hit +3, so I guess that's cool. Something tells me you'd be willing to merge Silas if he was added and dropped to *4. But you seem content with your current income so that's cool. 500 Crests huh? And here I thought my 180+ was excessive. Funny you say what you say about a 48xx score when I'm starting to feel like 49xx is inadequate. 5000+ or bust seems like these days. Anyways with my 4940 score I'm exactly rank 9860 in AA. Will I drop 140 more ranks in the next 30 minutes? Guess we'll find out. That matchmaking change not long ago really did nothing. Cutoff to stay in top 3k this week is anything >5086. Game, give me copies of Nowi so I don't have to deal with this nonsense.... And I think that next week might be even better since I get to use Merric, Fjorm, Lucina, and Raven. It has been a while since I've gotten to use Fjorm, but I'm glad she's in the free unit rotation. I hope that means it's also water season. If it isn't, I might have to quickly finish building Female Grima and slap a blessing on Lucina. I'm super happy to have stayed in the top 3k for AA. I was less than 400 places away from dropping out. My goal for next week is to try and break 5100 in AA. This brings me to another 20k feathers, so that means another merge for Mae! Now I'm less than 15k feathers away from finishing her off, and maybe starting another merge project...or a completely different project entirely. Not too sure yet. I had to choose between giving B!Lyn a Brave Bow or merging Cordelia with the feathers, I decided to go for the latter because that's a better investment in the long term and I remembered that I'm not the biggest fan of replacing Legendary weapons for cookie cutter builds. That 4x Lucina (Future Witness) team (#2 in the "other" picture) caught me off guard...I can't imagine pulling 44 (+ who knows how many more) of her. I'll probably take advantage of the upcoming bonus rotation to run a Sacred Stones team. Eirika, Myrrh, and Tana are definitely going to be used, so I just have to decide whether to round that out with Ephraim or L'Arachel. On one hand, Ephraim on the same team as Eirika. On the other, a ranged weapon & tactic support for Myrrh/Sieglinde. Decisions, decisions... Edit: @XRay I hate that sinking feeling when you see a unit move up and know that it's going to get danced/sung into one of yours...at least Tana didn't get a Galeforce activation =P . Were you running an all-mage flier team? My beat stick was primarily NS!Corrin since she is +10, so yeah, after NS!Corrin died, I had no way of tackling Caeda without losing another unit. Maybe TOD!Nowi would have been able to handle Caeda if I gave her Rauðrblade, but I have not found a huge need for her to run that since her default Grimoire is sufficient in most cases and the extra mobility it provides is pretty fun. I also faced my first team work 730 in the normal Arena. MVP is Raven because even with -RES, he tanked two hits from Dire Thunder Olwen. I thought that battle would end my streak for sure. On my second attempt, I had a relatively easy run with most of my matches over 730. I didn't use any items at all or have any close calls. My team with summoner supported Lyn, Fjorm and two water blessed heroes can’t even net a number over 720 now. Its so frustrating when I put so much effort into trying to make my team the most competitively viable and high-scoring as possible, and yet weeks later it feels like it’s for nothing. If it weren’t for a supermerged 4* Donnel of all things, I could’ve fell out of the 5,000 threshold for AA. Well it's not water week, so you're down 4 points per fight automatically (the two water blessed units lose 8 points each), so an average of 28 points down per run. I'm even using my water-blessed off-season team of Fjorm, Olivia, Bridelia and Michalis. Only difference to last week was Michalis for Hinoka (bonus unit). Having Fjorm as a bonus unit helps, since she's part of my Arena core (B!Ike +6/M!Marth +4/Fjorm +0) so that lets me use Michalis (+3, Hauteclare (ref), Reposition, Aether, Heavy Blade 3, Quick Riposte 3, Threaten Defense 3, Distant Defense 3 SS) which is my best scoring unit out of my core. However, I don't think that even if next week is Water season, my score would grow enough to stay in tier 20. So, still in tier 19.5, but things are improving :D Also, @DLNarshen, how do you do to show the merges in that screen? In my phone it only says 40+. Are you playing in a tablet or a PC?
