I like how this thread has partially become "match the potentially obscure or minor FE character with the already-used name." Lol.

Can you search the wiki by name, since half of these are in-game?

You can. I think this thread could be titled "Who doesn't know the wiki exists".

Steve. There is legitimately not a steve in the series.

Oh my goodness, there isn't a David either. And don't tell me that David isn't common, I know seven of them.

Andrew if you don't count Tear Ring.

There are zero Johns and zero Janes.

Lily

Lilina...? I admit this is a stretch but it'd still create confusion (then again considering how many other bad examples there are of available confusion, I'm sure this one is fine)

Milla

Theodore

The Shadow Hawk, boss of FE7 HHM 19xx: Glimpse in Time, is Teodor, an uncommon variant of this name

Elizabeth -> Eliza -> Elise, from Fates

Here some names I managed to find. I'm going from the Choose Your Heroes list, so if some of these names end up being the same as generic bosses, or original Japanese names, then I apologise.

  • Caleb
  • Troy
  • Jay/Jayden
  • Trent
  • Darren
  • Diane/Diana
  • Derrick/Derek
  • Irene
  • Aaron
  • Jessica

idk if you're from another country or something where it's common but i've never seen a single person named alisha

like, not even just that i've never met one, i don't think i've ever seen anyone have that name before, even in fiction

and i don't think hubert is especially common either, the only hubert i can think of is hubert farnsworth

These are characters from the Tales of series.

Also Alisha isn't too unpopular, maybe the spelling. Alicia or Alisa are rather popular.
Hubert is a name from north Europe.

yeah i've seen people named alicia before but I just thought the choice of that spelling would've meant that one specifically

although I guess that explains the choice of those names
