Heptade
I've recently acquired a bootlegged version of FE6 with an English fan-translation on a GBA cartridge. Now I know practically nothing about the technology involved, but I was wondering if such a thing could be expected to exist for this game on a DS cartridge in the foreseeable future (or if it already exists). My computer is not fit for gaming purposes... And I would like to experience this game at some point, so... yeah...
Dragoncat
Yes, it is possible. There are DS flashcarts.

Dragoncat
I've never gotten one myself though, so that's as far as my help goes.
Trymer
I've had an R4 card for the longest time and FE did work on that. You do need to patch the rom directly though or it won't work on the card. Also the firmware needs to support the game, but I believe they managed that for this FE a long time ago. (I'm fairly certain there were also games that don't work on any of the DS flashcards, either because people didn't bother, or because it was too much effort to make them work)
Slumber
I question what kind of computer you have that can't play DS roms. I got a $400 shitty Dell for my 15th birthday all the way back in 2006, and that played basically every emulator out just fine. But yes, there are flashcarts out there for the DS that you can put roms on. Edited March 20, 2017 by Slumber
