What's the point of Fire Emblem if there's no Fire Emblem in the game?

The reason why the name is kept in all of the games despite not all of them having a "Fire Emblem" in some form is simply to establish that all of these are part of the same series and in some ways connected. Sure, they could have taken anything in the game and call it the "Fire Emblem", but why force something when there's no need to?

It's like in "Adventure Time with Finn & Jake" where there are some episodes that don't feature Finn & Jake at all, yet these episodes are in some way still relevant to the show's worldbuilding, so they can't change the series title or the intro just because of that.

Well actually they do kind of force something in the game to be called Fire Emblem. The only game that really doesn't is Gaiden (possibly because the Fire Emblem already exists in that world but I'd say mostly because they weren't bothered. They made duplicate Falchions and Gradivus' after all) and it's remake. Jugdral sort of doesn't too. There's a pretty contrived reference to the Veltomer crest being called the Fire Emblem in the ending but from what I've heard it's actually not the same phrase commonly used to refer to Fire Emblem in the series even if it basically translate to the same thing.
