Beat squad assault 3! This one was like, almost as easy as the first one imo

Map 1: Delthea Hector Celica and Anna

Map 2: Brave Lady Lyn Xander Camus and 3 star Fir :p

Map 3: Serra Jaffar Effie and Karel 

Map 4: Lilina Oboro Olivia and Alm

Map 5: Eirika Azura Nino and Male Robin 

Might post the exact strat later on, but this was tooootally fun!

It took more tries than you lot (7), but I managed.

Don't remember much of the exact compositions right now, but there were a few strats I liked executing. Surprisingly, didn't use Nino or Linde- kept conserving.

Took me several tries but eventually made it. Did take some notes from this vid:

Map 1: 4* +Atk/-Spd Subaki, 4* +Atk/-Spd Cherche (Brave Axe+, Death Blow 3, Hit and Run, Bonfire), 4* Arthur, +Atk/-Spd Celica (does nothing)

Map 2: +Atk/-HP Bride Caeda, 4* Sophia, 4*+1 +Res/-Atk Lissa, +3 +Def/-HP Lyn (Fury 3, Brash Assault 3, Threaten Defense 3)

Map 3: 4* Felicia, 4* +Def/-Res Stahl, 5* Sharena, 3* Narcian

Map 4: +Res/-Spd Ninian, 5* Alfonse (Brave Sword+, Drag Back, Draconic Aura), +Def/-Spd Tana (Swap, Quick Riposte 2), +2 Bride Cordelia (Brave Bow+, Atk +3, Luna)

Map 5: 5* Xander (Swap, Hone Cavalry), 5* +Atk/-Spd Reinhardt (Death Blow 3, Moonbow, Hone Cavalry, Quickened Pulse seal), 5* Olivia, Brave Lyn (Reposition, Hone Cavalry)

While Squad Assault 2 did give me some problems, #3 was a complete joke. I made it through on my first go easily with the following teams.

Par 1-1: Katarina, 5* Sharena, Sonya, 4* +3 Maria
Par 2-1: 5* Tharja, Ephraim, +1 Minerva, 4* +5 Clarine
Par 3-1: 5* Xander, 5* Camus, 5* Cecilia, 4* Priscilla
Par 4-1: 5* Zephiel, Sanaki, Brave!Lucina, 5* Kagero
Par 5-1: 5* Eirika, +1 Ninian, 5* Nino, 5* +1 Klein

Managed to do Squad Assault on the first try.  Not too bad.

On the last map, I know what it feels like to use Reinhardt and CYLyn on the same map.  It's cheesier than an episode of Wallace and Grommet.

Didn't you just say how easy it was?

As far as being a whale goes, I'm not a very god one, since most of my units have bad natures.

I still didn't beat it first try *grumble*

Oi. I haven't spent money on this game and I still beat it on my first try.

EDIT: Well, I'm almost certain that did, at least, barring any stupid mistakes in picking units.

I think I'm getting too used to Arena Assault, in that by instinct, I deploy really conservatively with the expectation of having to go deathless for 7 maps. I had a weird moment where I was on the third map and realized I hadn't even considered deploying any of my A-Teams, instead cobbling together specialists who could individually get really easy picks on certain enemy types (for frame of reference, one of my teams included 4* Gunter). Still ended up cobbling together another one, then deploying my Arena team, then Horse Emblem. This left my Flier Emblem on the bench. I mean, it's pretty budget, but it's still got the advantage of notable synergy over the hodgepodges of specialists.

Ditto. No Nino, no Linde, Olivia only showed up on Map 5 because convention, and it was against my better judgement that I brought Fae to the third map.

Of course, there was no reason to use Fae on either later map, so maybe it was a good call.

Gotten around and finished all Lunatic Chain Challenges but the Ch. 11-12 run. Brave Lyn, Reinhardt, Olivia, and Clarine too good!

Really nervous about the 11-12 run because of the defend map (since the party is split) and the turn limit maps (especially the 11-5 map).

Only missing 11-12 here also.

I've tried a couple times and I think I would be able to do it if my Reinhardt were +Atk. He misses killing Mae on 11-3 and that screws everything. I'll try to use another team first, probably with 2 fliers to help ppl move around on 11-3, and then switch teams afterwards.

I used this person's strategy as a guide, because I had all of the same units. Their Reinhardt is neutral attack (like mine). That said, to replicate this strategy you either need to have blue tomebreaker on Reinhardt (like they do) or give Xander hone cavalry and have Reinhardt's proc up when he fights Mae (like how I did).

My Xander and Camus don't have Reposition. That's not a big deal until you get to 11-5. Without that on them, it' impossible to kill Celica with Reinhardt and get to your next turn with everybody alive. And I'm out of Repo fodder for now.

Finally finished Lunatic 11+12 CC - on first try, too, though I used 2 teams.

Team 1 (deathless until 12-4; got wiped on 12-5):

5*+2 Brave Lyn: Mulagir, Reposition, Draconic Aura, Swift Sparrow 2, Sacae's Blessing (could've swapped this one out for Desperation 3), Atk Smoke 3, Atk +1, has S-rank summoner support

5* Olivia: Ruby Sword+, Dance, Aether, Fury 3, Wings of Mercy 3, Hone Atk 3, Fortify Res 1

4*+1 +Spd/-HP Clarine: Pain, Rehabilitate, Imbue, HP +5, Wings of Mercy 3, Ward Cavalry, Spur Def 1

5*+1 +Atk/-Spd Reinhardt: Dire Thunder, Reposition, Moonbow, Death Blow 3, Lancebreaker 3, Hone Cavalry, Quickened Pulse

Team 2 (finished 12-5):

+Atk/-Def Hector: Armads, Pivot, Bonfire, Distant Counter, Vantage 3, Spur Atk 3 (forgot to switch to Goad Armor but ah well), HP +3

+Atk/-HP Amelia: Slaying Axe+, Swap, Ignis, Distant Counter, Quick Riposte 3, Armor March 3

5* +Atk/-Spd Effie: Brave Lance+, Swap, Astra, Death Blow 3, Wary Fighter 3, Fortify Armor

+2 +HP/-Def Ryoma: Raijinto, Swap, Astra, Fury 3, Vantage 3, Hone Spd 3

Finished all available Hard and Lunatic CCs!

Finished the CC runs for P11+12 on Hard and Lunatic. The P11+12 run on Lunatic is tough enough that I had to use 2 teams.

Team 1: Brave Lyn, Reinhardt, Olivia, Clarine (same team as above)

Team 2:

Black Knight: Pivot, Ward Armor, Fortify Def 1

Amelia (same as above except she has Aether now)

+1 +Spd/-Res Bride Lyn: Wind Boost 3, Hone Atk 3, Miracle, HP +3

Brave Lucina: Swap, Fury 3, Wings of Mercy 3, Def +1

A New and Unique way of asking for help: this is my current clear for the first four maps, and a failed attempt at the fifth. Can anyone point me in the direction of help clearing the fifth map, using what you see here as helpful?

@phineas81707 This is exactly where I failed too. I tried my first flier team (Hinoka, Palla, S!Camilla, NS!Corrin), because they also solved this map in the paralogues and in CC, but oblviously boosted stats plus the need to survive with the full team is a lot harder. My fully buffed Gronblade+ Camilla can't even kill the first archer. Perhaps I'll try again this evening.

@phineas81707 I started by killing the lower archer with Reinhardt on the first turn. Second turn: Reinhardt kills upper archer (who went down on EP) and Seth from the highest possible position. I don't remember all the exact steps, but Xander took care of the green flyer on EP and of the green mage (Ignis charged) on the upper part. Reinhardt killed the lancer with help of Lancebreaker and all the other swords (cav + 2 armors) while Titania went for the blue mage.

Ehh not quite

Squad assault 4 was pretty easy

Map 1: Cecilia with TA Raven, Hector, and Oboro (4th was Athena who did nothing)

Map 2: Reinhardt Olivia and someone with reposition (4th was Stahl)

Map 3: Alm, Lancina, Effie, and Anna. This one was.... slightly complicated

Map 4: Xander Brave Lyn Clair and.... I think the 4th slot doesn't matter LOL

Map 5: Azura Male Robin Nino and Celica 

Took about 6 tries?

Having the final Squad Assault map be a defense reinforcement map is pure evil.  I held on my the skin of my teeth with Ike, Soren, Bridelia, and Azura.  I'm not sure if I could do it again.

Map 1: Titania, Ursula, Xander, Elise (surprisingly hard)

Map 2: Leo, Cecilia, Camus, Eldigan (not too bad once I figured out how to get started)

Map 3: CYL Roy, CYLyn, Reinhardt, Frederick (probably the easiest)

Map 4: Elincia, SCorrin, SCamilla, Hinoka (not too bad, maybe between maps 2 and 3 in terms of difficulty)

Map 5: Ike, Soren, Bridelia, Azura (pure evil)

 

It took me two tries this time.  I'd ranked them 3-4-2-1-5 in terms of difficulty easiest to hardest.

I hadn't really thought to prepare for a reinforcement map at the end, but fortunately I was able to put together Brave Roy, Brave Lyn, Ursula, and Performer Azura to soundly take it down.

The third map was also a bit awkward. I used Merric, Elincia, Male Robin, and Olivia: was able to take down the two infantry enemies easily enough, but I had to spend a long time running around to get the two fliers to approach separately so I could take them down one at a time.

Despite squirming a bit at times, I was able to get through it on the first try. It put up more of a fight then the first or third, but wasn't as nasty as the second. (Of course, I also have a much stronger team lineup now than when the second one launched.)

If you can find a way to keep Nino Celica Male Robin and Azura (though I don't think she matters in terms of color) for the last map, you might be able to copy my strat

Hm... I'm not sure Nino can be taken from Map 3- Sonya probably doesn't do anywhere near enough damage.
