It's late and I must get up early tomorrow, but I thought I should probably make an introduction before I go to bed.

My name's Margaret, but I'm mostly known as Dweeb/Dweebunny online! Feel free to use any variation of my name/penname- whatever you're most comfy with, should you ever want to chat! I'm 21 years old and am currently training as a nurse. I don't know how often I'll be here, as I'm not used to forums in general...!

I've known about serenesforest since early Awakening days, and I believe I used some resources for personal use like desktops, icons, etc...

My first FE was Radiant Dawn, although I really need to replay it as I've forgotten most of it. (I was quite young when we played it...) It's thanks to this exposure that I tried out Awakening's Demo, and then I set it to download from eshop the moment it came out in the EU. (it was a school night, so I had to set it at midnight and wait until the next day to play...) I've played Fates (Conquest) and recently completed Shadows of Valentia. If Awakening didn't hold a special place in my heart, I believe SOV would be my favourite. So they're tied for my favourite FE!

I'm not as familiar with older titles, but I have been curious to try them out someday when I have more time on my hands. I'm mostly curious about Genealogy of the Holy War (Which I've heard is infamously difficult, so I may keep it for last. ...Or watch a playthrough...I'm mostly curious because of the characters.), the Binding/Blazing Blade games, and Sacred Stones. I would also like to try Path of Radiance and replay Radiant Dawn someday, somehow. (Wii is broken, rip...)

Again, I may not be able to contribute much here. I'm not a sprite editor or a writer- I'm a hobbyist artist...

Here's my listography which has some links to places I'm on. I'm also on twitter! Just earlier today on twitter I was overexcited at the slightest possibility that Celica could be Irish based...but I'm basing this solely on her Overclass class being Irish based. I know FE isn't set in our world, but it's nice to have the little possible rep in there. I can dream...

Anyway, I should sleep. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did! I apologize for the length, I'm not good at condensing things, apparently, haha-! ;;

Welcome!  How do you feel about Maggie?  I've got a grandmother and aunt with the name Margaret.  I've also got a ton of nurses in my family, so good luck in your studies.

I've been with the series since FE7, or Melee, if you count that.  I've been into Heroes since it was released; it's pretty fun, if you haven't tried it.  Do you have an interest in Irish lore/history?  I'm part Irish myself, enough to have red hair anyway.  My ancestors came to America from there back in the 1800s.

Welcome to Airport 1001! Remember to wake that slugabed up! I'd like to get SoV, but there's too much other stuff that my sights are set on coming out this month and next.

WRT Genealogy, I would say it's difficult... Difficult to get into, that is, because it's so different from other FEs. Anyway, any other games and game series that interest you?

I was intrigued by this, so I decided to do a little research. According to this page https://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=lima, Celica's surname could be related to a Celtic word, so she could be partly Irish.

AHHH GOOD TASTE I love Mae so much... she's my favourite of the girls along with Celica-! And Valbar is SUCH A GOOD GUY it's no wonder Leon's infatuated with him. Who can blame him

Ohh Maggie is a name my family and close friends tend to refer to me as, so yeah I'm okay with that!! Oh wow what a coincidence! I have two aunts that are nurses, but I don't know them that well so them being nurses never influenced my decision, haha! Thank you!

Ohhh FE7 was the first localized FE, wasn't it? That's so cool you've been into it so long! I got in around FE10 because when we were on holidays in America we bought a bunch of games- I don't know if it even came to Ireland. Back then we were months behind everyone for content and flat out lacked a lot of games PFF

'Course, it's my own heritage! I was born and rared here, and both my parents are Irish! Ahh around the Famine time? I believe that's why there are so many growing Irish families abroad- a lot of our ancestors went to America for better futures in those dark times. It's always nice to see where it worked out!! Haha here I am with brown hair- red hair is super nice, but not many in my family have it!

AAAahh yeah I completely get you. I got it on an impulse as I saw it in the shop. I regret not getting the Limited Edition now- it was available at the time!! I think it's a really solid and strong entry. There's a little Awakening Easter Egg, if that intrigues you. :3c But yeah I get you- For now the only game I'm waiting for is Pokemon Ultra Sun! I was tempted by Sonic Mania and Splatoon too, but with Pokemon coming t's like Nope. Pokémon takes priority for me haha!

Aah yeah...I'm mostly curious because of Seliph and Julia, they seem like good characters from what I see fans of them produce! I'm okay with different! But I'll have to be very prepared...

Some of my favourite games/series are: The Ace Attorney Trilogy (I haven't played Apollo Justice, but I have played Duel Destinies.), I guess the Danganronpa games? (never played them but I watched them), Kid Icarus Uprising, Legend of Zelda games (though I haven't played a whole load), Okami/den, Pokemon, Stella Glow, and Tales of Symphonia (Not the sequel, just the first one! Big Nostalgia). So yeah~!

Thank you!! Both my avatar and profile images are offical art by Hidari- My avatar is one of Celica's Cpher cards and the other image is an official desktop wallpaper I found-! (I'll attach the desktop image!!)

OOOOOHHH MY GOD- Even the fact it could be tied to Spanish also slightly supports it, as the original Irish natives mostly came from the Spanish region. yOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY THIS MAKES ME THANK  Y OU I WAS JUST BASING IT OFF HER OVERCLASS BEING IRISH BASED- BLESS- I completely forgot that Lima is technically her surname!! Rare FE surnames...

Thank you so much for helping me indulge in this! <3

((I hope people don't mind I put all into one post-!! I just thought maybe it would be neater, but if not I'll answer individually in future!! The quote feature on this website works so nicely omg))

It's funny to go from one potato land to another.

I love the name Maggie, it's one I've considered if I ever have another daughter.

Yeah, I was in high school was FE7 came out.  I suppose I'm a seasoned veteran of the series.

My family came over back during the famine.  I don't know too much about them before they moved, but I got the name Houlihan from that branch of the family.

I see. Maybe I'll get it once I can take care of my other priorities. Anyways, I wonder what else is gonna change in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon...

I see then. As you might know they're characters in the second generation of said game (Seliph is the son of the main character of the first generation of the game, Sigurd). Anyways, what I was warning you about when I said Genealogy is different from other FEs is several things - first off, every unit has their own money stash, and the ways to transfer money are limited. Second, the maps are HUGE. Third, there's no trading. Fourth, it's rather walkthrough-heavy (by which I mean that there's a lot of stuff you are likely to miss if you don't use a guide). Fifth, it's in two parts, as I hinted at - the first half of the game is the first generation, and the second half is the second generation.

Okay then. The ones I've bolded are the ones I happen to have (though I have yet to play Uprising). Also, who's your favorite of the Witches in Stella Glow? And do you recognize the character in my avatar? And another thing that crossed my mind - the Zelda games, mainly the 3D ones, seem to have good amounts of Nightmare Fuel.
