Why Don't Archers Just Get New Arrows?

I was having a shower thought in the shower, and I was wondering why don't archers just get new arrows.

maybe they'll make it a thing in the next FE game where we buy arrows instead of new bows

edit: please move to general FE

Maybe they do, and that's why each "Bow" has limited uses.

Yeah I was thinking this too. I know in Awakening the arrows look different for each type of bow, idk about Fates...

They do in both Awakening and Fates. Bows, arrows, and quivers all look different for each type.

I'm pretty sure the bow breaking in Fire Emblem is referring to the actual bow breaking, not just simply running out of arrows.

If they don't have weapon durability in the next game, they could use arrows as a way to balance archers. They could have iron arrows, steel arrows, silver arrows, bodkin arrows (anti-armour), broadhead (anti-beast and cavalry), etc.

I had the same thought actually. Break the bows and arrows into two subsets that you can mix-and-match and the bow becomes a much more interesting weapon type!
