DisobeyedCargo
What exactly are the requirements for getting an S rank. The one I've been having the most trouble with is defeating enough enemies.
Azz
With the exception of 'Kill X amount of enemies in X mins' etc.. Finish each map in 15 mins (Switch)/20 mins (3DS) Kill 2000+ enemies Not exceed an 80% damage threshold.
DisobeyedCargo
Oh I have 20 minutes sweet. Guess that makes up for the 2000 enemies instead of 1500 (used to Hyrule Warriors) is 80% how much damage I can take per character or only on one character? Shadow Mir
Also, is the enemy density in the 3DS version similar to that of HWL?
LucarioGamer812
I don't know if the 3ds version has this but the pause menu/map on the switch version tells you how close you are to an S rank, it tells you how many KOs you have, the time you've been playing the mission, and how much damage you've taken. Anyways, does the rank transfer from the story mode to history mode? Example: Robin & Lyn has A rank, does that mean they have A rank support in history mode or do you have to start over? This is not about support ranks. It's about chapter clearing ranks. You know, beat a chapter by killing 2000 enemys and you've cleared it with an S-rank. Beat it with less and you get an A etc. It doesn't have anything to do with the characters, just how good you were at clearing a specific chapter. Fulush
It's also worth noting a couple of things: 1. The 2000 KO count also includes KOs your other playable characters get while you're NOT controlling them. So say you have a map where you're controlling Chrom and Robin and you never switch to Robin but you could. You get 1500 KOs with Chrom and Robin gets 500 while the AI is controlling him. You will still get S rank. 2. If you pause to the map (where you can issue commands to units) and move your cursor to an empty square on the map, it will show on the left side (for Switch) the conditions to meet S and A ranks. It will also show if you have met or failed the conditions. Like, it'll say: 12:00/15:00 Minutes 1500/2000 KOs 20%/80% Damage taken Meaning 3 minutes before failure, 500 KOs before success, and 60% more damage you can take before failure. SwordMaster Lyndis
Honestly the requirement for S rank is sometimes rather lame, having 2 S ranks in enemies defeated and damage taken, then having 1 A rank because of time, making the mission an A Rank, it's like that 1 A rank over powers the 2 S ranks.
