The timing is still a little odd, but I guess IS didn't want to risk any of the artists leaking upcoming banners if they were told in advance. The new chapter was pretty neat too! Food in SoV is basically the healing items of this game instead of the traditional one like concoctions or elixirs. They restore 10, 20 or 30 HP depending of the food.
